Times are a changing. Gone is Natural Grocers, but then Sprouts opened up and saw success while taking some business from Tom Thumb, but now that Trader Joes is here I see them taking some business from Sprouts which is weird becuase the thing that TJ's is known for is that people have to go to a 2nd grocery store to get the rest of their ingredients. TJ's is the place to get finished foods and snacks, it's not the place to shop if you have a family. It's great for if you live alone or only feed 2 people. They have all the latest food trends and high quality products. Prices are good. Service is excellent. Layout is good. Prices are good compared to California (home for me). It's quite small compared to other locations in California and Chicago where I spend most of my time in. It's a great compliment to Cox, Zion, Las Colinas for the specialized markets. HEB, Market Street and Tom Thumb for major grocers and Whole foods for the bougie health focused. I"m too much of a foodie to come here on a regular basis, but for those that don't want the fuss of cooking for themselves or others it's a great place with it's own place in the area despite Coppel being a family suburb. read more

There are so many things I love about Trader Joe's. My current favorite item is the Black Cherry Vanilla Seltzer water. The staff is always so friendly and will gladly help you with anything at all. I recently found out the entire staff rotates what they are doing every hour To minimize boredom and risk of repetitive injury. Trader Joe's is my family's consistent grocery store. We love all the frozen products and how they bring in new seasonal things to try. Our favorite this season (summer), is the ricotta and lemon zest ravioli. The staff is always phenomenal. They're super helpful and conversational at check out. This location is very busy, so not always our preferred location due to the volume of people inside. The southlake location usually is more calm and less crowds. However, this place's ambiance is more calm if you go in the morning hours on a weekday! read more

I am such a fan of the Trader Joe's and their selection of plants and flowers. Also their frozen food selection are amazing if you're not in the mood to cook, you're probably going to find a nice selection of items. The steak & Stout Pies were surprisingly bomb AF! Those I've had from my local Lynnwood store, as well as the 5 Cheese Greek Spiral . So good, only cook half or you'll eat the entire thing in one sitting, no judgement. Now what I love most about this store is the plant and foliage options. I was excited to visit this location, 120 S. Denton Tap Road, Coppell, TX 75019. It's located in a business center and thankfully on the day I visited had ample parking, nice and clean looking environment, surrounded by various shops that you may be able to get a lot of errands done in one spot. You do you! Upon entering the store, I realized that the layout is familiar and easy to navigate, I was immediately and to find the foliage that I came to see and bring home with me back to Washington state. I've been wanting a Pilea Peperomiodes and thankfully I looked long and deep on the shelving unit where the lower shelves are ignored, to my surprise there she was! Super excited about this find as it was my souvenir of my one and only trip to the state of Texas. I made my way to check out, I was fortunate enough to be greeted by Olivia, I really enjoy having a nice welcoming experience when I am making a purchase for the first time in a different, not new establishment, I appreciate the familiarity. Olivia was very awesome and I had to share with her that as a tradition when I buy plants from the person who rang my purchase, I name my plant after them. Her surprise response was priceless and brought me a lot of joy. So the of the two plants I purchased, one is Olivia and also a tribute to Olivia Newton-John and my friend Bob. He wanted a plant from my trip as well. read more

We were so sad when the Natural Grocers closed......yet we were elated when Trader Joe's moved into the location! The layout is perfect and I prefer this location to other Trader Joe's I have been to. It seems like the staff is ALWAYS over the top friendly and I just love that. Going to this Trader Joe's is always a treat. read more

This Trader Joe's is one of the nicest that I have ever been to. The Coppell location has wide aisles in their immaculately clean store. It is bright and cheery and makes it easy to find all your favorite Trader Joe delicacies...and maybe a few new ones! And there is plenty of parking in an easy to navigate lot. read more

One of the newer locations opened less than (or about) a year ago. The store was very clean and organized. I will need to get used to where the products are located. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Trader Joe's is located in a small shopping area - there's Cava, Biscuits Bar, spas, and much more! There's lots of parking available. Be careful when parking. The parking spaces are a bit smaller than other places so drivers may park either too close to you or outside of the lines. I've also encountered a sharp object in the parking stall which resulted a flat tire. This was completely unavoidable and just plain bad luck. All I'm saying is be careful where you park. read more

WOOT! 1st review! A new Trader Joe's within 20 miles of home? Cue the celebrations! And it's during the best time of the year--Pumpkin Spice Season! We hit up the grand opening around 10 AM, and while it was busy, it wasn't the chaos I'd expected. I found my people--fellow TJ's fans--and we bonded over favorite products. I'm pretty sure I personally sold 20 jars of Cinnamon Bun Spread (one of the top 5 Trader Joe's GOATs). Even convinced a guy to buy his wife flowers--he did, and I saw him later, victory in hand. All we need now in North Irving is a Braum's, Culver's, and Freddie's, but hey, HEB is coming in 2026, so I'll be patient. read more

This fairly new establishment in Coppell was clean and well-stocked when I visited in November 2024. The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. I walked out with a good stash of tinned fish. So far the TJ Smoked Mussels and TJ Calamari in Olive Oil have been fantastic. read more

I'm a Californian living in Texas so I'm biased - I've been shopping at Trader Joe's for more than 30 years and I've depended on this store for high quality groceries and snacks for myself and my family and this new location is great - and as a bonus, it's on my way home from work, so when my wife reaches our with "we don't have anything for dinner" I can simply stop by and pick up one of our favorites plus a few more items and we're off. If you're new to Traded Joe's, I have some recommendations: the garlic and pesto pizza is really good, as is the wood fired pepperoni pizza. Their frozen lasagna is very good, and they have vegetables prepared almost every way imaginable to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Their wines are alright - I'm not a fan of wine, but my wife is, and the one we can agree on is the Susumaniello is great - for about $10 you get an Italian table wine that tastes much more expensive (one or the local TJ's employees who used to rep wine companies told me about this one). Our extended family enjoys it and everyone asks where they can get it. Trader Joe's is also fairly aware of their ingredients and does a good job not carrying much, if anything, with HFCS or artificial colors. Their coffees are good, though not as extensive as they used to be - globally, coffee has been impacted by weather, etc. - all things beyond their control. They have a great selection of chocolates, cookies and biscuits from all over the world, and a great produce section. read more

I've read that y'all get paid good, but you work in retail. Be humble. Seriously. Excited to see a diverse customer population seeing how the area is very MAGA/homophobic/conservative (and snotty). read more

It's closer to my home than others in the DFW metroplex. I was very tired, but we found what we needed relatively quickly and enjoyed checking out the variety of items that were not on our short list. Ginger Snaps are now on my TJ's short list. I attempted to return a salad that had not yet expired. The manager on duty told me that returns are only accepted if something is wrong with the product, and that simply not wanting it wasn't a valid reason. The item was unopened and well within the return window. read more

I decided to try this place again after a 10 year hiatus from their storefront on Preston rd. And I must admit the "big" business corporation has learned very little over their minuscule market share DFW presence. I don't even know what's going on here ....seems like everything is just slapped together. Aldi looks 10 times better than this no frills place. I don't get the attraction to this little place. Their reserve olive oil is awful, limited produce, limited everything, Tom Thumb adjacent to it is 20 times the size with lower prices less crowding and better variety and quality...Trader Joe's seems to attract the Yuppy crowd which I have no interest in being around or a part of....i don't even want to ever be seen with these people...sickening thinking about it!! read more
