Fruit/ veggies mostly spoiled and added coloring to make it look fresh as they place the spoiled items in the middle or at the bottom, go bad within 24 hours. Lots of items you're charged for the original price but its on sale and wont honor unless you bring it up and hold up the line. No one has time for the games. POOR MANAGEMENT. I shopped Kroger for years until they shut down the one off of Justin Rd. i was so glad I went, as it opened my eyes up to many others choices I had forgotten about. For one I can not remember the last time i actually had a checker, vs having to hunt one down. I have not been asked 'do you need help to your car' in ages. A feeling of a much more personal service. 11/14/16 Today I was very disappointed in the new cashier Anthony. I felt like he was not listening to what I was saying. Any who he rings up my boneless, skinless chicken breast they two prices for the managers special. One is $3.62 and the other is $4.96 he can't get the on for $3.62 times scan so he charges me $4.96 for both and says I'll discount it at the end. I'm like ok you can just fix that right now in my mind because you done messed up twice .. we get to the end he tells me my total so I'm waiting for him to discount my chicken like he said for the right prices. He says are you gonna pay your total is... I say as soon as you fix the price for my chicken I will. He looks at me funny like are you serious. Hell yeah I'm serious. Now trust and believe I didn't have a problem paying the $4.96 for both but, it was the principle of the matter. He tried to whisper with a attitude and act like I put it in wrong. I e been going to this Kroger about 4 years since I moved her and the staff are always friendly. I almost always get my meats here or Market Street because of the quality they have. Not our favorite Kroger location, but not horrible. We prefer to go to the one a little more down the street. We were excited as this one had a free giveaway on one of our visits. Sad part, we bought the actual item they were trying to sell and forgot our freebies! Boo! Anyhow, my only issue with this Kroger is finding expired products. I have found them at this location on several ocassions. The staff was really apologetic about it, but I don't always check things before I rapidly stuff them into my cart if I'm in a hurry. The store is conveniently located at the corner of FM 1171 (Cross Timbers) and FM 2499 (Long Prairie). Inside you will find a Starbucks, a Florist, a Bakery, A Butcher, a Fish Market, a Deli, a Hot Food counter, a Pharmacy, and more. They have an excellent selection of fresh fruits and veggies. Awesome fancy cheese display. Impressive (by Flower Mound Grocery store standard) Beer selection. Tons of pantry items. Normally there are plenty of cashiers to get you checking out quickly. They have several self check out stations for those with only a few items. Be sure to sign up and get a Kroger Plus Card. For every $100 you spend at Kroger, you will be eligible to get 10 cents off per gallon of gas purchased at Shell Gas Stations. Just scan your Krogery Plus Card or enter your 10 digit Kroger Plus Card associated phone number at the gas pump PRIOR to entering your credit card for payment and if you have 100 points in Kroger Plus Points then they give you the 10 cents off discount. I put my Oder in for two items and came back 50 mins later and it still wasn't done. I asked about it and they then made me wait 20 mins longer behind new people who just got in line. Every time I go in I always have a great experience with the staff. They have been there forever. Scott always takes care of me . He sees me pull up to the gas pump and he already knows what size Redbull and how much gas I'm getting. I'm very predictableWhich makes this experience even better when I'm in a rush and time is critical LOL .When Scott's not there I always end up seeing John, Thomas and there's another younger gentleman I keep forgetting his name, they're all excellent as well. I'm probably at this Kroger twice a day 5 times a week. once at 3 o'clock almost on the dot at the pump and then once more at midnight to pick up dinner. Every night I go and I always see Michael working the self check outs, he is one of the best. Always has a great attitude. Even when the store closes at 1 AM you would think someone would be tired but no he's always very happy and smiling. read more

It is clean inside and produce is stocked regularly...while in store, I realized that I needed a prescription refilled, I called the pharmacy, they filled it and texted me back in less than fifteen minutes to let me know it was ready, I am very impressed! read more

Just the absolute worst Kroger in the area. Absentee management means the monkeys are running to zoo. That great big sign that says "Fast Checkout" is a complete falsehood. There is rarely more than two lanes open and all sackers here are remedial adults who are ill-trained and unsupervised. Be prepared for a long, frustrating wait. Stocking is sporadic and shelves often depleted. This store's manager should be fired. read more

Had a prescription for an infection and pain management called in at 9am. Went at the end of the pharmacy's business hours for pick up. Was told that it wasn't ready because they were backed up and asked if I could wait until tomorrow. I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager in hopes that she could give me an over-the-counter recommendation to get through the evening. Manager didn't allow me to explain that, but instead berated me saying that she knew I was miserable but I just needed to deal with it because she came in on her day off and I needed to appreciate that. This was after she gave a similar speech to the woman next to me, thinking she was the one who asked to speak with her. Careful with your assumptions - it does not end cute for you. I can certainly sympathize with the labor shortage and the hardships that come with that (my industry isn't immune to it either), but to tell someone that's in pain that it doesn't matter because you're working on your day off? I also have a team that needs me tomorrow, and I need medication in order to do that. The insinuation that I should suffer because of your bad business operations is horrendously unprofessional. As a Christmas gift to Ms. Dena Boyd, I'll never step foot in Kroger at 2709 Cross Timbers ever again. I know it won't solve how backed up you guys are, but hopefully my ex-patronage helps. read more

Do not go to the Kroger on Cross Timbers iFlower Mound, TX!!! There was one checkout lane open with a long line. We had bought a basket full of items and had to self checkout. There is not enough room provided to buy a lot of groceries so the computer is constantly locking up for not bagging an item. The attendant never came over to check on us until the end when the computer locked up completely. He asked how we were and we told him the situation. He never said I'm so sorry you had problems he just cleared the register and walked away. We will never go to that Kroger again!!! I only gave one star because I had to. read more

Hey I have an idea Kroger pharmacy ! Why don't you just wait until 10:00 or 11:00 to start your day ? I mean the rest of the world is required to be in place by 8 or 8:30 so I really appreciate you holding my kids medicine hostage until 9:00. In regards to their floral and balloon department. I recently bought half a dozen regular helium balloons and one maylar with helium. My event was the next day, and within 4 hours of purchase 3 of my regular balloons had deflated. When I called to explain my concerns and frustrations, I was told that the regular balloons have an 8 hour life span. However, I was never told this even after mentioning to the lady that they were for the next day. So don't waste your time or money here! read more

This is my favorite grocery store to shop at in Flower Mound. We do the majority of our shopping here. It is always clean, well stocked, and has a good selection of fresh foods. Their floral department is the best of grocery stores in the areas. Their flowers seem to last forever, they always have a lot to choose from, and they are very moderately priced. They also have Starbucks inside the store which is nice. We also love Kroger because of our Kroger card. We save so much money by using it when purchasing as well as on gas through our rewards. read more

I was making a casserole and the only ingredient I needed left was a can of black olives. I asked this older man who worked there and gave me a sheet to find the item, I told him "im overwhelmed and just need this one item and this sheet means nothing to me" when I walked away I expected him to see my frustration and find the olives for me considering it was a simple task and you couldn't help me with one item, when it seems like you can't find anyone in the store as it is to help you as it is. I suggest if you live in the area goto Tomb Thumb, or Kroger down to the Kroger on Morris' Rd a couple of miles, or Sprouts, or Market Street where I've never had trouble seeking help. This Kroger just flat out sucks at customer service. Plus, (if you live in the area) mandarins are $5 something and at Sprouts and Win Co. for a dozen they are only $3 to $2.99 HOWEVER in the self checkout line there was a cute older lady who went out of her way after seeing my frustration and left her area and found 3 different black olive cans for me, I was so appreciative and wish THIS particular Kroger would hire MORE people like this lady who cared enough to leave her section and go all the way to find my black olives for me, she is a jewel for helping me, I was getting so upset that I was about to vacate my cart and let the Kroger employees put my items back. She was a big help other than the old man who handed me a sheet and wouldn't give me the time of day to help me, probably discriminating against me because I was gay. read more

They are very good about working with you on coupons. Much better process than the Kroger on Justin Rd in Highland Village. Also check out the clearance bins down the card aisle and the Starbucks. I have never written a review in my life, but after my experience tonight at this location, I will never be back. I went to customer service to send money through western union. I stood at the counter for a while as no one was behind there working. Finally after the guy (that was obviously suppose to be back there working)got done talking with his buddies, he finally (slowly) made his way over to help me. When I asked him for a pen (cause there wasn't one available) he tossed it at me. When I got done filling out the form, I stood there waiting for him to get off his cell phone (looking at his snap chats) and acknowledge me. He takes my form and starts to put my information in when a guy walks up to the counter and asks for the power ball numbers. The guy drops what he's doing and goes to looks in the computer and starts reading off the numbers, the man says he will never remember the numbers and asked him to write them down. Which he does. The whole time I'm just standing there waiting. (As he's taking his time) when he finally gets back to my request, he tosses the pen at me again and says "sign that". Tim, you obviously need to have a little more training the the customer service department. Kroger I hope you do something about his rude, horrible behavior, before he turns more customers away from your location. Unacceptable read more
