88 cent bread
Charlie W.

Certainly not anything close to a traditional HEB. There are some great deals like 88 cent bread. A pretty good selection of reasonably priced fruit and vegetables. Bakery selection is pretty small. They had 8 real registers open which was a welcomed experience.

Caldo starters in produce case
Yolanda H.

I appreciate Joe Vs for having a respectable amount of HEB branded items. The generic HEB items are legit!! The produce prices are competitive. However, a careful eye is needed when picking the better looking produce. The quality of the fruits/vegs is less than desirable with the bulk displays and bins.

Feels just like a regular HEB. Not sure why they just don't call it HEB. Good selections and good prices. Fresh produce and meats

Disclaimer, I think I came on a bad day. I came here for the first time on Saturday. I just…read morerecently found out about this place and wanted to check it out. I can't compare this one to the Hurst location as I've been to neither. This is a bin, liquidation store that carries merchandise from Target, Amazon, and possibly Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack on some occasions. Not gonna lie, I came for the Nordstrom stuff and there was none to be found when I went. There was a lot of stuff from Target though. A lot! They had shoes for $5, lightbulbs that normally cost $10-$15 for $5, and framed artwork for $10 or 3 for $25. Great deals! They also have a decent selection of furniture, outdoor home items, lamps, and vacuums. If I was moving into a new home, I would definitely come here to see if there are any good deals on accent furniture before going to big name furniture stores. The prices of the furniture reminded me of those I've found on Overstock and Bed Bath and Beyond's website. A downside to shopping here is that different things are damaged. Not everything, but enough to where you'll get used to seeing broken things on the shelves. Would I return? I would, but now that I know what to expect, I'll plan my trips there a bit better, especially to get the Nordstrom stuff!

Obviously, since this is a bin store, the selection is pretty random and some items are bound to be…read moredamaged by the nature of customers' scavenging, but I love this store.

Few years back , they were replaced by this weird, obnoxious guy with no sense of hospitality. Yesterday I went to the store and lot of the plate items were missing. "Oooh!" meets "I gotta get out of here!". Let me tell you how I got here... I came here in search of an inexpensive handheld single hole puncher for a crafting project. Frugal me didn't want to pay more than $2 for one, and Dollar Tree surprisingly didn't have one. Sure enough, I found it here along with so.much.more! Seriously, whatever you want, they probably have it. They even make keys and I think I even saw international calling phones that you could use in-store. Like phone card phones or something? Is that a thing? I don't know. I ended up leaving here with the hole puncher, writing paper, nasal decongestant spray (lol), and I almost left with a glue gun, sewing pins (might go back for those), and silk flowers. Just so much random stuff that you need...and don't! Everything is not a dollar, but it's within range. It's an organized indoor swap meet with a friendly cashier (I think he's the owner). It was cool that they use square. I felt secure checking out with my card. Any way...now that I know what they have, I'll probably be back hahaha. Don't judge me.
