39 Red Roses

Floral Department: I began bringing my wife one rose on our anniversary for each year we've been married. This year we are at 39 roses all in one vase. A very sweet lady named Nargis who works in the floral department at the Bethany Kroger has done most if not all of the last 18 years of arrangements for me. Each year they are even more beautiful than the last, and how she creates such beauty in one vase with so many roses astounds me. Nargis, I can't wait to see what you do with 40, 50, 60 roses!!! Thank you for you kindness and generous use of your creativity that have helped make our celebrations so special!!

Waited in line at the Customer Service area for awhile before an employee came to the service desk. It was three of us in line waiting for help. When an associate arrived to our area, had my husband not spoke up and said hello, I'm not sure if she would've spoke at all.

The luckiest place to buy Lottery tickets. Great employees, they have me smiling every time that I am in the store.

Exceptional Store -- A True Standout Market Street at…read moreWatters Creek is a stellar grocery store and easily one of the best in the area. The store is consistently clean, well organized, and thoughtfully laid out, making even larger shopping trips feel easy and efficient. What truly sets this location apart is the service. Staff members are attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful without being intrusive. From the butcher and seafood counters to the bakery and prepared foods, there's a noticeable level of care and professionalism throughout the store. It feels well run and well staffed. Product quality is excellent across departments--fresh produce, a strong meat and seafood selection, great prepared foods, and a solid wine and specialty grocery assortment. Everything feels curated rather than generic. This Market Street goes beyond being just a grocery store--it's a consistently high-quality shopping experience. Absolutely a go-to and well deserving of five stars.

The catering team made our cakes and cupcakes that were loved and devoured by our guests. We were stress free with no worries about running out of food and the presentation platters were pretty. Everyone loved the food and team was terrific in answering my questions and assistance with food/drink selections. We plan on using them again for birthdays and more events! Thanks for taking the cooking and menu selection stress free. Thanks for making our party a hit! We can't wait to try your Mexican foods for our next cinco de mayo party!!

I love and bleed HEB!! So grateful they're finally building…read morein North Texas. My husband and I previously would drive to the Austin area to shop for groceries... it was well worth it! The Allen location is incredible! It's clean, the employees are always helpful; if you have a question, they will often take you right to where something is located (if you like). So many GREAT things about this and their other locations!!! The "not so great" would be two recent things... 1) The folks that bag groceries need a bit of training... eggs NEVER go on the bottom of a bag, unless it's the only thing; and NEVER put food with ANY cleaning or soap type products... seriously, don't! 2) The curbside pick up is fantastic, there have been a few hiccups, but they're usually resolved (Except that I am tired of getting dented cans!). I did another curb-side pick-up this past week, and while waiting for my groceries, I asked for a Manager. When she came out, I showed her two boxes of HEB "ziplock (type) bags"; they were both previously opened (not by me) and were what was bagged in my previous order pickup. I wasn't mad, I just wanted them replaced. She delegated it to an individual who either didn't understand the assignment OR didn't care. They brought me two identical boxes of QT Freezer zip bags ... which is not what I gave the Manager to replace. Now, I have to take them back to the store a 2nd time, but this time I will need to find my receipt to show them exactly what I was swapping in the first place. An unnecessary inconvenience that should not have even happened... if the original person who "shopped & bagged" the 2 boxes (for curbside pickup) had selected unopened boxes (or noticed the issue and acted accordingly)... I would not even be writing about it here as an issue. Funny how that domino effect works..... If the "H*E*B" mark is on the product, it's a stamp of honest approval, and you will (most likely) not be disappointed! HEB may be the best Grocery store in America...

I had a very disappointing experience at H-E-B Allen on April 22 around 8 PM at the express…read morecheckout. There was some confusion in line when a customer ahead of me stepped away and another person was at the end bagging groceries. I thought she is a HEB employee until she said excuse me, and approached to the register to pay.I made space by backing up my cart. The associate, Brody, told me to move my cart back more in a very abrupt and unfriendly tone, which I did. When it was my turn, the interaction only got worse. Brody did not greet me or make eye contact. He bluntly said, "Can I scan those?" referring to my two empty water jugs. When I asked for clarification, he repeated "I need to scan them". I explained that the jugs are refilled and paid for outside, and from that point on he stayed completely silent for the rest of the transaction. I left the store feeling frustrated and honestly surprised. H-E-B has always been one of my favorite stores because of its consistently great customer service, which is why this stood out so much. I hope management looks into this, because this experience was far from the standard H-E-B is known for.

I'm done with Kroger and for good reason. After my experience with the other Kroger yesterday I…read moretruly can't believe the same thing happened one day later at a different store. Went in again, for the convenience,to grab some juice. Incidentally saw Beyond Beef on sale for $5.99 each, buy one get one free! Sold. Now,remembering what happened yesterday with the price confusion at the other store,I snapped a quick photo,( evidence) just in case. Again, checked out and looking at my receipt as I walked out noticed,I'd been charged $9.99 not $5.99! So I swung back in and told the checker. After looking at it a few minutes said she couldn't do anything and sent me to customer service! I use that term loosely! I've been thru this ballet before and with this same person. Bottom line she said( looking at my photo) it was probably in the wrong place. I suggested that's a problem but not mine. Looking at the price and the product right behind it..$5.99 is the price the customer ( that's me) thinks it is. She ask me to look at it. I pull it out of the sack and she says,I'll have to go back there and look. After literally 5 minutes she comes back and says, yes it's in the wrong place. I ask if it's store policy to give the mismarked price. She avoids the question. I ask to talk to a manager. She pages one. I wait. Lady manager come, says yes, correct that for him. Smiles at me and says thank you. That's the way it should have worked from the start! Sorry for the rant but, hard to believe. Take a look at my photo, you be the judge. Combine this with Krogers use of Artificial Intelligence Spying on self check,no thank you. I'm out A Huge Enormous, Robust... Don't Go!
