Needed a bite to eat and ended up at Krispy Pizza - I got the spicy vodka pepperoni slice while my partner chose the eggplant parm slice. Spicy vodka pepperoni was good, but needed more roni cups. The eggplant parm slice was a bit underwhelming, wouldn't get it again. Seems like the slices are a bit hit or miss... Would try other slices next time I'm nearby!

Have been seeing Krispy Pizza all over Instagram. Decided to give it a try and am happy that I did. The pinwheel was awesome and something different from a classic pizzeria. The slices were on point and they had so many unique options. The cashier was awesome the transaction was easy and genuine. The place was close to the water in downtown Jersey City. I'm sure it will be doing great in the upcoming years with the new buildings coming up.

This was amazing! Ricotta honey pepperoni, meats ...can't go wrong no matter what. Good price, fast service, small joint, if it wasn't so cold we'd sat outside

Another great Jersey type pizza as expected. Pizza is thin, sauce is just right and cheese just enough. Nothing super special about it honestly but only had the cheese and cheese with jalapeño. The way I see it the cheese pizza is the flagship pizza. Heard some good things about the trio but it's not your typical "NY slice". Only thing I was disappointed on was the jalapeños. They use picked jalapeño and made the pizza overly tangy so I would have rated it a 7 but I have to give it a solid 6.5

Saw a tom of videos on TikTok and I know it wasn't this location but had to try it! First, off their location is amazing since you are right on the water and view of NYC! They have a huge variety of slices which is nice! Got 2 slices of pepperoni, a hot honey pepperoni pinwheel and grill chicken krispie! Pizza is solid with good crunch! The hot honey pepperoni pinwheel was outstanding and the grilled chicken krispie was very good! Overall a very positive experience and it was busy at 6pm which is great to see! Staff is friendly and definitely gonna try some other slices!

I was staying nearby and went in. Pizza was great and staff also great. I have tourist written all over me and they couldn't have been more welcoming. The place has a rustic feel, which is great. So many great slices to choose from.

The pizza was good. I liked the different toppings that were offered. The chicken Parmesana pizza was good, along with the other pizza slice with broccoli and tomato. I am not really sure what each one is called because there was not a menu to really pick from. We just pointed at the glass of which ones we wanted. We also had to ask what toppings were on each one. It's hard to get an idea of the prices in general because the menu does not specify. Our total came to be $24 (not sure the breakdown). I would skip the garlic knots. They were greasy and not too flavorful. The star of the show was the cheesesteak roll for me. The service was very quick and I could see they had a lot of people working in the back. We came almost at closing, but they still had all options available. Overall pretty please with the pizza's.

Went to Krispy Pizza after all the reviews and videos on Instagram. One thing to point out is that I had read reviews about the OG spot in Brooklyn and the comparison about the other stores not being the same quality as it. I didn't listen too much into it because pizza is pizza. Walking in, there is a good selection to choose from. Different options which makes it hard to choose a few. Might as well get the whole store. Anyways, took a bite out of it and there wasn't anything really special and honestly it was below average. Pizza was soggy, the white pizza had tasted better in many other places I've tried before. Maybe my expectations were too high but I went in with an open mind. My girlfriend had the same opinion as well. One day, I'll go to the Brooklyn one to try it. This spot was just not it.

I'm always hearing about Krispy pizza and I'm sure I've definitely tried it years ago when I used to babysit downtown, but my boyfriend came back from a long trip and was craving pizza so we chose this place! I have to say, if you think Hoboken parking is bad, it's even worse in this area. However, the fact that there is a huge variety of slices just waiting for you helps make the trip a quick one and you could always call ahead too for pick up orders. Upon entering, the employees were super kind and saw I was on FaceTime showing my bf all the cool choices so they gave me a few moments to peruse, then finally they took my order and even made some suggestions. Overall, I would definitely visit again and try some different slices but of the slices and other snacks I tried I would rate them as such: - chicken vodka slice 3.75/5 definitely had a good amount of chicken and tasted good but needed way more sauce - chipotle chicken slice 1.5/5 super mid, would not try again, chicken was dry too - grandma slice 4/5 tasty and thin! I would've again liked more sauce but I would get this one again - trio slice 3/5 I like the idea of three sauces (pesto, vodka and marinara) but the ratio of that to cheese and bread was a bit off - hot honey pepperoni twist 3/5 my mom actually loved this and I didn't mind it but it's definitely for a pepperoni lover. If you only like pepperoni or don't care for it, this item isn't for you - meatball roll 4.25/5 this was probably the best item even if the meatball wasn't made fresh, every bite of that roll had meatball and it paired well with the marinara. Everything costed about $32 and I'm not sure if it was a single price per item or not but in the moment it didn't matter because I was thinking with my belly haha. Enjoy and check this place out!

You can sometimes tell by the smell as you're walking in if the pizza is going to be good or not. Definitely an enticing smell. Pizza was excellent. Was it "OMG sit in silence" pizza? No, but it was "DANG this is pretty darn good!!" pizza. I would totally recommend. Love the outside seating with the view of the freedom tower.

Consistently delicious pizzas of different styles. Margherita and pepperoni are my favorites!

Great pizza in Brooklyn, quick service and great pizza. In terms of ambiance, theres a few booths in the back which is nice if you want to sit and eat your slice. The first time I went, I tried their trio slice because I saw a few posts about it on social media. I thought it was just ok nothing to write home about. The rice ball was just ok too. But I tried the pesto pepperoni slice yesterday and it was phenomenal! I'd definitely come back for the quick service and the pesto pepperoni!

If you knew me, I always considered pizza as a separate food group aka the sixth main food group! Established in 1982, this small family-owned cash-only restaurant has been a beloved neighborhood staple known for its authentic Italian pizza along with other Italian dishes and a cozy and family-friendly atmosphere. With a glut of pizza joints, how would this pizzeria from Larry and Joe compare to others I've tried in the neighborhood!? PURCHASE [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 3.5 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($5.00): A large container filled with oddly similarly-sized rings, these were hot, medium-browned, semi-crunchy, and didn't have a tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (not sweet Maui) stayed intact. I was told it would be ready within 45 minutes which was fine. I arrived a bit early to a very busy pizzeria, to which I waited an extra 15 minutes before my order was done and packed up. No worries, as I watched TV and simply observed the "mayhem" in this place. I wasn't in a hurry, so all was good - grazie! From tasty food, large portions, reasonable prices, good menu selection, and wonderful service, this place hit all of the feels. And, I always loved supporting small businesses whenever possible. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $54.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). Sadly, they were CASH ONLY (my only knock), so no AMEX! 4.0 STARS
