Artichoke & Crab slice.
Cindy Z.

Artichoke has and will always be one of my favorite pizza spots of all time. Their famous Artichoke slice ($7) is gooey, cheesy, and overwhelming in the best way. It's definitely a lot to have for one person and it's a huge slice, but it's so yummy if you're a fan of artichoke dip. The Crab slice ($7) is also delicious with its thin crust and cajun crab topping that gives it a nice twist. The service was quick and it was a fulfilling meal. It's a huge slice, so you really only need one slice to be full. It was perfect to share and nice to enjoy over at the waterfront even though there's seating inside and out here.

Staten Island Slice

Food (3/5): The slice I had (Staten Island) was very delicious and one of the better slices of pizza I've had in a while. However, I tried the artichoke pizza that my friend had and I found it hard to enjoy. Some of the other people I dined with felt mixed about their food as well. The slice I chose was 5/5 though. Except it is expensive and there is a decently cheaper option (confusingly named Basile's) right around the corner. Their food is comparable in taste for me. I would chose Artichoke Basille's for enjoying a fancy slice and Basille's to stuff your face with pizza. Pizza is a versatile food good for both of these events. Service(5/5): Good no complaints. Big warm bathroom. (It was a cold night) Ambiance(5/5): Very pleasant to be inside with warm lighting and some interesting decorations.

Crab Slice

Clean and air conditioned atmosphere inside I tried a Crab slice for the first time in my life. I wasn't sure what to expect. The taste is definitely more crab than pizza, but it is yummy nonetheless. Get this slice if you're a true crab lover. If the only crab you've eaten is imitation sushi crab from a California role, then this slice is not for you.

Food (5/5): One of my fav pizza spots. The crab pizza is absolutely amazing with super delicious cheese and toppings. Service (3/5): They get the pizza out at an ok speed and no major issues with the service. They have a restroom in this branch. They don't provide cups of water. Ambiance (4/5): Decent shop with some seating. Good for a quick bite.

Margarita and Vodka Slice

I have heard so many great things about Artichoke pizza. However, this place was a little disappointing. We got the pizzas from TGT and ended up getting an margarita and a Vodka slice. The margarita was actually very very good. However, the Vodka slice was very burnt. We had to throw away half the slice. Anyway, this store also has limited seating, so maybe better to get food for takeout? IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

The gentleman at the counter greeted us upon entering and took our order right away. Pizza was already made so it was just a matter of choosing some slices to be reheated which didn't take long at all. My absolute favorite slice was the vodka one, I would order an entire pie of it. The crab slice wasn't bad either but a little salty and the artichoke slice was way too salty so I won't be ordering that again. Overall not a bad place to try if you love pizza and want a change from a boring cheese or pepperoni slice.

Garlic Knot (Garlic Knots (3pcs)

Probably my favorite pizza, the artichoke pizza I recommend that all the world has to eat it and the garlic bread is also good and the ambiance is relax.

I have heard about Artichoke Pizza for years! I don't usually visit Hoboken but I did this past NYE and decided to stop in for 2 pizzas and a few speciality slices. We ordered a pie with the vodka sauce and a pepperoni pie upon recommendation. I had to order a slice of the artichoke pizza (see if it lived up to the name!) and my hubby ordered a slice of the crab pizza. It was love at first bite. Both were delicious. My hubby is still talking about the crab pizza. The vodka slice was delicious. The sauce is was rich. I'm not a fan of pepperoni but everyone was raving about how delicious it was. The whole order took about 20 minutes from when we ordered to it being ready. We arrived around 6:00 PM on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy, it was also NYE so that can be why. By the time it was 12:00 AM the place was packed. A line went all the way outside. I'm excited to visit Hoboken again and enjoy!

Artichoke and vodka slices

I first tried Artichoke Pizza for late night slices in the East Village in NYC. Even though it's considered drunk food, it's still very much a culinary gem. I love their signature slice. As far as pizza toppings go, artichokes are pretty unexpected, but somehow they've found a great niche. The slice is incredibly thick, with a super crispy, charred crust. They use a layer of parmesan alfredo sauce that's delicious and creamy. The artichokes themselves are smooth and blend right into the cheese. The slices are large and very filling. It's rumored that one slice is more than 1500 calories and I believe that. I have definitely eaten one and not needed another meal for the rest of the day. I love this pizza so much that I bought an entire pie for myself to celebrate my move back to NYC. It's only at this Hoboken location that I discovered their vodka pie, which I think might be my favorite pizza of all time. Their vodka sauce is very flavorful and it's applied generously so that the creamy sauce and crispy crust create a perfectly balanced bite. The slices are rectangular so that also gives a bit of unique flair. I can't recommend it enough! The Hoboken shop is very small. Most of the space is occupied by the counter so this is definitely a place to order ahead and grab for takeout. It's in a busy part of downtown but I'm always able to find a parking space decently close by.

Lowest quality pizza I've had in Hoboken. You can tell just by looking at it. 2 slices for $12 for this garbage is wild. So nasty.

I…read morehad been eager to try their pies, as well as their full meals, but only just made it to their dimly lit, hip and happening main dining room. The space was not large, but they really made the most of it, offering a decent number of tables with reasonable space between them. My friend and I were quickly seated and immediately greeted by a charming server that opened our bottle of wine (it's BYO) and offered us still or sparkling water. I had read in other reviews that you had to pay for water, so I was not surprised by the $6 bottle of Saratoga that wound up on our bill. In addition to our engaging server and the happening atmosphere, the food was similarly incredible. We decided to order a load of things to share, so that we could try a greater variety. We started with two appetizers that were seasonal Spring additions to the menu. The Hamachi Crudo included five thickly-sliced, tender pieces of Japanese yellowtail sitting in a broth of rhubarb aguachile and topped with white strawberries and basil seeds. It was an unique blend that we would not have expected to work, but boy was it delicious! The sweet toppings infused a load of flavor into an otherwise mild fish. We also enjoyed the Fava-mole, a creamy puree of fava beans studded with balls of hand-pulled mozzarella and pea tendrils, all drizzled with zesty ramp oil. I had not been sure what to expect from the dish, but it offered fresh, bright garden flavors. We also decided to share a pasta course and an entree. The Fettuccini was tossed with spring truffles and maitakes in a light, yet heavily aromatic, wild mushroom cream sauce. It was one of the best dishes I had had in quite some time. Then, as we were waiting on our seafood entree, we received a second pasta, courtesy of the Chef. I had mentioned that I had heard rave reviews about Flour from a server at Heirloom Kitchen, a top NJ restaurant. Apparently, our waiter had let the Chef know about that glowing praise, and the kitchen further verified that positivity with the generous gesture. In fact, they wound up sending out the Linguine with white clam sauce, razor clams, and wild ramps, the other dish about which I had been most curious anyway. Well, it was another winner! It was garlicky, herbaceous, and rich with flavors of the sea. Speaking of seafood, we next received the Branzino 'Bahn mi', a perfectly cooked piece of Mediterranean sea bass with Vietnamese sausage and pickled vegetables. The branzino's crispy skin and flaky, moist interior were excellent, and we loved all of the other smoky and briny flavors on the plate. After all of that excellent food, we would have loved to try one of their appealing desserts, but we were just too full. Between the ambiance, welcoming vibe, and delicious cuisine, our Flour experience was simply divine! It has now became one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I cannot wait to try their pizza at some point as well.

I was a big fan of both, especially the ricotta, which was so incredibly creamy. For the mains, everyone's fresh-made pasta was excellent. I ordered the Mexican street corn, which was unique, flavorful, and delicious. I also tried some of the spicy rigatoni and loved it. We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was rich and chocolatey. Also, the fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a huge plus! The only downside was that I lost an item during our visit. I had a really hard time finding their contact information online, so I had to go back in person to ask about it, which was a bit annoying. Ultimately, they weren't able to recover it, but the food itself was still outstanding.
