I love Krispy Kreme but today February 4 2026 at the drive thru I had a bad experience. While getting our order we were not rude at all. I will always call out my husband if he is being rude but he was not our conversation was normal and monotone. The server slammed the window shut as soon as we got the last item even though we were still talking and asking for paper towels. Mind you it was not busy so I would not have bothered if it were. But seriously if you read this please leave or quit your job. Your negative energy is infectious and it is ruining the business. Customer relations completely failed here. read more

I had to stop by to grab my free dozen of glazed donuts for my birthday. My friend and I ran in to order and grab coffees. They were not crazy busy but steady in the drive-thru when we walked in. We had to wait a couple of minutes to order, but it appeared they were in the middle of shift changes as well. There was a guy weaving in and out of people trying to clock out I think while one of the another employee was trying to grab our order. Two other employees were making coffee orders and moving around the cash register. My friend ordered a black coffee while I tried the caramel mocha. My coffee was hot but tasted more like hot chocolate than coffee. It was very good tasting but surprised me buy the lack of coffee taste. Our donuts tasted great as usual. I love Krispy Kreme- the standard glaze donut is always the best in my opinion! Coming from MN where there is no Krispy Kreme's I am always excited to get this amazing and simple donut! It's fluffy (even when purchased at 8pm) and the perfect sugar fix. The donuts overall are 5/5 for me but the service for this location is 1/5- therefore I think an overall rating of 3/5 is most fair for this location. I came here twice during my time in Omaha because of it's convenient location and the first time was fine but the second time was unprofessional- the staff was unfriendly and over charged us by $5. Thankfully we checked our receipt and got a refund but it took two managers to figure out how to do a refund... I ordered the special Valentine Dough-Notes Dozen box of doughnuts. They were supposed to be in "our Valentine's Day specialty packaging with a spot to write your Valentine a little note". They were supposed to be a surprise but instead I was "surprised" by a bunch of doughnuts thrown into an ugly box. Rude service. I was unsure where to pick up my online order. There were no other customers and the front door was locked. So I went to the window where I was told that it would be more courteous if I would have ordered at the drive up. They first gave me an opened milk, I kindly asked for a new one and they gave me one but the milk I had received was expired on the 13th of May and it is currently the 18th. OK we just came here for the donut special. The football donuts for the Super Bowl and they were all out and we wanted to get assorted and they're like out of almost all their donuts and I asked if they could maybe substitute something else and they're like no way the girl at the Window was incompetent and rude. The people at this location are not sure what's actually going on. I've talked to the manager once for over charging us when I saw my receipt and she seriously didn't even want to try to help me she said she was way to busy and short staffed. I stopped by this KK yesterday to grab some doughnuts and it was a really fast transaction. I was just going to get a few originals for $1 a piece but then I saw that I could get a dozen for $8, so that was a no-brainer. I ran in, got the donuts, paid, and was out in less than 5 minutes. Headed here with the kiddos on a snow day. The place was empty at 10 when we arrived. The lady at the counter was friendly and quickly took our dozen donut order. Service was fast and we sat and enjoyed our donuts and my coffee while old shows played on the TV. Everyone has their own taste but in my opinion the coffee here is very bland and over priced. Absolutely love the quality and selection of donuts that Krispy Creme is known for. Especially like when they light up the sign indicating that hot fresh glazed donuts have just come out and if you stop in then you can get the donuts while they are still warm. Literally melt in your mouth. Delicious. I actually prefer KC over Dunkin Donuts - more a personal preference than anything specifically against Dunkin. Service at the drive through is generally pretty convenient; however, the attendant the day I went through seemed to be a bit distracted and ended up asking me the same questions several times. Being from Texas, I'm a die hard Shipley's fan. Their light, buttery, flaky donuts are unmatched. Plus, up until a couple years ago---there were no KK's in the vicinty. I had Krispy Kreme for the first time when I was in New Orleans---5 years ago. I remember my bf raving and raving about them so I was excited to try them! Bit into one. It was lackluster. His excuse was that they weren't fresh off the belt. Attended the drive-thru today because I wanted to try that new nutella donut. That's something you don't see everyday. Shipley's never has unique offerings like that and me and nutella are forever! They didn't have it...Bummer :( So I went with the regular glazed, regular cake and maple glazed, oh and a small coffee with cream and sugar. Service was speedy! I like how they didn't make my coffee too sweet or creamy. The donuts were SUPER sweet! This is definitely a dessert and not breakfast. Is there a way to order with less icing haha? The maple glaze was too much for me, so I had to scrape off the excess glaze before I proceeded to eat the rest. I like that the maple icing actually tastes like maple---and not just sugar. Nice touch! The regular glazed was sinful when heated and the cake donut paired well with my coffee---as expected. These donuts didn't wow me per say. I arrived early on a Saturday morning, with the plan of getting a donut and drip coffee. The drip coffee was fine, but there wasn't the standard selection of creams and milks available in the Krispy Kreme location at home. In Seattle, the Krispy Kreme is a factory, you can watch the donuts being made and the donuts are always warm, if not hot. There is a self-service station for sugar and cream in metal thermoses/pitchers. At this Krispy Kreme location in Omaha, NE, there is none of that Seattle location charm. The donuts are refrigerated cold and there is no microwave to nuke them for 8 seconds to bring back the taste of freshly-made donuts. I asked the young girl working behind the counter if I could have the donut warmed, and she said "There is no microwave!" in a very rude tone of voice. I ordered a pumpkin cheesecake donut, and was thoroughly unimpressed with the filling. It tasted like cream cheese that had been sweetened with sugar. No pumpkin flavor.The donut itself was OK. Had it been warm, it would have tasted considerably better. Like melt in your mouth cream cheese filling better. Not this donut. There is a Dunkin Donuts that will be opening soon next door. I was sad it wasn't open the day I was in Omaha, but if I ever visit Omaha again, I'll be heading to the Dunkin Donuts to give them a try. read more
