I would give a better review. There's two things wrong with this place by 1 o'clock. They're out of a lot of things I have come a regular until recently. I looked for them everywhere you can't get them here. I found Krispy Kreme's never heard of them before but unfortunately I've become a fan of the maple pecan donuts I go to the one on third Avenue and every time I go there they are out of everything Every time I go so I go to the other one and the last few times I go in they are out of apple fritters they are out of the maple pecan. They are out of the raspberry filled and you are very slim on things and it's nothing I want so you're starting to get to the point where I'm getting frustrated and I don't even want to come in there and it's making a local mad cause I'm like why did my husband bring me hell This is a joy for me. Me & my cousin were CRAVING some fresh hot KK donuts & this location was the only one with the hot sign on. We go in & I noticed the conveyor wasn't on, thought it was odd, but didn't think twice about it. The lady asked if we wanted the hot glazed donuts, so of course we told her yes. She went around the back corner... to MICROWAVE them. We didn't realize it until we took a bite & tasted them (but made sense with the conveyor not on & how she went around the corner where we couldn't see her) & on top of that, we got a dozen of the mini's & they tasted like they were about 4 days old. Seriously unimpressed here. Went on a Saturday morning at about 7:45 am. They were understaffed, so there was plenty of waiting to be served. Had a coupon for BOGO a dozen donuts and the cashier had major problems figuring out how to subtract the free dozen donuts from my total. I went in there and bought 3 donuts that KK doesn't have and all 3 were terrific (butternut crunch, red velvet frosted, toasted coconut). Wish I had just skipped KK. Anytime I'm in Myrtle craving a donut from now on, I'm skipping KK and headed to Donut Man. 1 dozen assorted donuts at DM is 8.65!!!! Trust me, they donuts are bigger and better at DM. I love KK so much I have the app that lets me know when the hot sign is on. This location was a block over from our resort and I finally convinced my man he needed a hot glazed donut. The sign was on and we walked in 30 mins before close. I should have known something was up because everything had already ceased operations and been cleaned (for closing, I assume.) We ordered our donuts and the cashier asked if we wanted them hot. (Who says no to that question?) She went to the back (again, I remind you, no machines were running) and brought out our box. We paid, got in the car, and opened our box-as ya do. The minute I bit into it, I knew: they had been either re-heated or left in a warming tray. They were certainly not still hot from being made. However we were a bit disappointed that some of the donut's fillings were unsatisfactorily insufficient. Come on Krispy Kreme, we need more filling!! Stopped by after a show 9:30 at night. The location had a close time of 10pm. Two employees outside as we pulled up, went inside as we were getting out of the car. I've been visiting this Krispy Kreme for over 40 years since I was a little kid with my parents when we would come to the beach. It's always a good Krispy Kreme and it's almost always busy. And about one out of three of my visits the staff members are actually friendly and nice most of the time they're just trying to get to the next guy and get you out of the way. so don't come here expecting fantastic smiles and greetings of Love like you get It other places you need to look at the donuts pick your donut order your donut and get the hell out of the way that seems to be the attitude here. I even ordered an iced coffee one time and told the young man that I wanted the cane sugar syrup and milk and he said oh that's not how we do it here maybe it's different at your Krispy Kreme and I just left inside knowing that I live three blocks behind this Krispy Kreme and this is my Krispy Kreme and every time I go in and get an iced coffee I get it different. but if you're coming for the original donut they are always fantastic but sometimes when they have special donuts you know corporate has had them make something it doesn't always live up to corporate standards. and yes I have plenty of examples but no need to go into him just stick to the everyday donuts and a cup of coffee and you'll be good I've never had a bad they're not from here but I have had a couple of corporately invented unusual donuts that we're not really great. read more

They melt in your mouth and it's hard to stop yourself from eating 3-4 donuts while riding in the car! However, this location has particularly bad service, at least at the time that I went (about 5pm on a Sunday) After waiting about 10 minutes for the person at the front to take our order, while people were texting and chatting in the back area and not helping her, we were hurried along as we picked out the lucky twelve doughnuts to make it into our dozen. And, I have never been to a Krispy Kreme where they did not give you a free glazed donut hot off the line. Until now, at this place. I feel betrayed. Not sure I would want to frequent this place.
