When we were there last night, we were handed menus, a pen & an order sheet to write down our requested items. Once we figured out our order, I stood in line to hand over our order & pay the cashier while other people in our party scouted out table for a party of 6. When our ice cream order was ready, our order number was called, we walked over to pick up & bring back to our table. I don't mind the "self service" aspect of this new way, but it seems this could reduce the amount of tips given by customers to staff? The ice cream creations were very tasty as usual! The homemade ice cream scoop tasted fresh & was flavorful! During August 2026, single scoops of homemade ice cream are only $1.99!

Really nice space but the dining concept has changed from my experience at three other locations. They now offer dine in or takeout, but the dine in is more full service restaurant style with a server. Not sure how you would take these shakes to go. Seems unnecessary for table service but I'm sure they rack up the tips now. Anyway, shakes are all fun and creative and always delicious. My kids love the strawberry cheesecake one, the cookie one, and the mint one. My wife and I decided to try something new on this stop. She has gone non-dairy so she got the açaí and oat, which was a nice açaí bowl like dessert option. She really enjoyed it. I got the turtle waffle. They make liege waffles (never noticed that before!) and this one was topped with brownie batter ice cream, brownie bites, chocolate covered pretzels, whipped cream, and caramel. Absolutely scrumptious. Look, it's pricy here, but they do a great job and it's something that everyone will get a kick out of. We do crazy mason about 1-2 times a year and that's enough for us probably. If you haven't been, it's worth bringing the family when everyone has saved a lot of room for dessert. Something you'll all remember for a long time.

The waffle itself was delicious -- warm, crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside -- but I'll be honest, that bright blue Cookie Monster ice cream left me with... let's just say some lingering side effects for about four days. (Consider yourself warned!) The ice cream flavor was okay -- nothing particularly special -- but everything else came together nicely, especially with the Nutella drizzle. My fiancée ordered The Dolly Llama Biscoff, which featured horchata ice cream, Biscoff cookies, and caramel sauce in a waffle cone. That one was hands-down the better choice -- rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. I definitely had menu envy. The staff was friendly and patient, and the shop itself had a fun, inviting atmosphere with plenty of dessert options to explore. Even though my choice wasn't my favorite, I can see the potential here. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area to try out more of their creative flavor combinations -- just maybe steering clear of anything Cookie Monster-colored.

Here are their comments: Strawberry cheesecake-tasted like vanilla with barely a hint of strawberry. The ice cream was WAY too soft and was melting when the woman handed it to me. tasted watery. Terrible. Coffee- absolutely awful. Tasted like weak chocolate and not even a little bit of coffee flavor. Way too soft. Terrible. Fudge brownie- tasted like coffee flavor, just with slightly more chocolate. couldn't finish it. just terrible. The one girl that got hard ice cream actually liked it and that's the only reason for the second star. Nice chocolaty flavor and thick bands of peanut butter throughout. Very tasty I love ice cream, so I hate giving ice cream joints bad reviews, but Iggy's just wasn't good.
