Stopped in last night around 9:30 pm to place a large order for pickup in the morning. There was no other customers in the store and as we approached the door, it was evident the two employees we could see inside were cleaning up for the evening. When we entered the store, we were immediately greeted by Jasmine & Isaiah. Wow, what a breath of fresh air! These two young adults were friendly, funny, charismatic, and eager to help us...great customer service still exists! After a delicious, hot donut right off the conveyor belt and laughing at my husband with a paper hat on, I think this will be our new happy place to go for a quick treat! read more

No longer do I have to drive super far to find some good ole Krispy Kreme donuts, okay so don't even let me get started on how luscious and delicious these melt in your mouth donuts are. So when I was on Route 3, I was headed to a restaurant when I spotted this brand new Krispy Kreme spot. My eyes lit up with happiness, and I promised myself that I would visit in the near future. Today I visited for the first time and I was extremely satisfied! I was very delighted to be greeted with such friendly and uplifting customer service. The guy at the drive thru window was very polite and engaging! I ordered two dozens of hot glazed donuts! And by far they have to be some of the best ones that i've feasted on thus far! Not name-calling, just stating fact. * Their coffee is pretty good, not Sbux, but decent. CONS: * A tad pricey for a donut. * A tad small for a donut. * A tad greasy for a donut. Went to Krispy Kreme in Gambrills MD June 2021 was not greeted or asked may I help you. Asked for 4 large decaf coffees and was told it was empty and she did not asked to make more this was at 10 in the morning. Also wanted 2 dozens donuts . I had to asked what the total was, the customer service was bad, but needed to go back the next week and it was a repeat same bad service and same female employee. I worked in a bakery and other customer services for 45 years. Hope this gets better, or will need to go somewhere else. read more

Awful service. Today was in the drive thru & paid for a specialty box of donuts which had mostly plain glazed inside & the other three were very ugly decorated. So much for spending the extra bucks for poorly decorated & old tasting donuts. I also asked if I could have a brew box& was told they don't do that when I know they do because I have gotten it before at the same location. I'm a huge Krispy Kreme fan. When deciding between here and Dunkin, there was no doubt in my mind that Krispy is better. The classic glazed donut is baked to perfection. The dough is light & fresh. We ordered 17 dozen donuts the day before but when we arrived this morning, they notified us that they had issues with the donut machine & hadn't packaged any of our donuts. They quickly started boxing the 17 dozen and only charged us 2/3 the normal price. While I was not pleased with the machine issue, I am content with the customer service. read more

I took a 30 minute drive to visit this location at 2:20 pm on 12/1/18, there was water all across the floor behind the counter along with donut debris, plastics bags, and powdered sugar. There were loose random donuts just sitting on the conveyor belt. The donuts which were on the shelves behind the counter were just sitting there.There were minimal donuts on display and what was displayed looked as if they were there from the night before. There were approximately 5 young adults in the store so there was no reason for the condition of the store and for the lack of donuts on display. On both occasions when I entered....yes, I considered getting some donut holes even after I left after the first encounter...the young adults were standing around just talking! By the way, there was only one can of donut holes available and the icing on them was cracking...stale! The attitude of the clerk was dismal and I left the store without any donuts or holes after I got the side eye from her! Please.... whoever manages/owns this store get those kids out of your restaurant because they are ruining your business! I have pictures of the store and the water. I have been to this location before and have never seen it in the condition it which it was today! I won't be back.... This has left a very bad taste in my mouth...Krispy Kreme will never be the same for me after this experience! read more

Why is this location even open? The lobby is closed with no doughnuts in any of the displays. We get to the drive through and they have no glazed, no lemon or raspberry filled and none of the holiday covered doughnuts. Seriously why stay open? I would like to share my recent experience about this location. I placed an online order for the special Halloween donuts for a small family birthday party 3 days in advance. I received a confirmation email that my order was received and pickup was scheduled at 11am. 20 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, I received a phone call stating that they ran out of the donuts. I asked to speak with the manager who was rude and condescending and advised me that even though I had placed the order in advance, they don't get the order until 20 minutes before your pickup time. From previous reviews, my experience seems to be typical for this location. I have contacted the corporate office as they are in need of an immediate process improvement for online ordering. This location needs to spend a day with staff at Chick-fil-A to learn what real customer service is. read more

The lady at the drive-through window was super-friendly and apologized about the wait and even let me know about a coupon that took a significant chunk off my bill. There seems to be a donut craze going on in Maryland. Donuts are everywhere - Fractured Prune, The Brown Box Eatery, Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme's - plus a host of other's that I've not even ventured in trying just yet. I used to love Krispy Kreme, until some of these other establishments began popping up and now, my taste buds have been trained to appreciate a different kind of donut - the cakey kind. First the donut at this store - was a bit dryer than I remembered it should be. The Krispy Kreme experience has always been as if your entire mouth was sinking into something soft, squish-like, with either an oozy filling or the crackle of glaze, that touches just the tops of your teeth. This donut was a disappointment. OMG - my family is yelling at me, as I read this review to them. They LOVED these donuts and they say that I'm grouchy now. Yeah, I've been driving in mad-traffic today and it was horrendous. Also, the signs indicating what the donut was, were incorrect and on top of that - customer service was met with rudeness, but according to my kid, I may have initiated that. He's giving me the annoying eyeball look, now. Went to the Grand Opening and like any Grand Opening they offered samples. The best deal was the purchasing the calendar for $7 and using one of the 2 free dozen coupons they had inside. A dozen of hot glazed is like a box of pure gold! Sure there are folks on the wait staff that could be a little more attentive, however my expectations were epitomized on Easter Sunday. Lent was over, and I was ready to indulge. I had ordered a dozen of hot, however the conveyor belt slipped a chain and there was a gap in the production. The young man at the counter apologized, and explained it would be a few minutes before hot doughnuts will be available. I payed for my wares, and watched the production. I didn't mind waiting, and stood watching the doughnuts going through the cooking process. Once the doughnuts were ready to serve, the same young man at the counter handed me a bag with 2 boxes. There should be a line for those who want one or two doughnuts and a line for those who want more. Unbelievable that the employees can't fill orders faster. I decided to give Krispy Kreme a try. My daughter wanted her usual Boston cream donut and a strawberry slurpy. I just wanted a coffee. I let cashier know what we wanted. I started to get a little frustrated with the cashier as he slowly shuffled around getting our order as slowly as humanly possible. He was twirling my cup up in the air. He took ten to fifteen minutes to get 2 donuts a slurpy and a coffee. 3or 4 people walked in still dragging his feet. He finnished my order. Then the manager walked in and he moved out of slomo mode. My did not like her donuts and said the drink was way to sweet. Coffee was good but irritated after the cashier's antic's. Oh yeah he snapped at me when I asked him where they kept the cream for coffee like I was suppose to know where the cream was when I had never been there before. Honestly, I don't know how good this place compares. All I know is that I pull up, order a dozen donuts (sometimes two), and they hand it to me. Nothing like piping hot Krispy Kreme fresh outta the oven. They've never done me wrong here. Doesn't matter when I pull through... early morning, after lunch, or late evening.
