Went here today left disappointed asked for my refund i was notified my order will be ready at 5:29 got there it was they didn't have any original glaze understood she said come back at 6:30 I called no answer so I made another trip up there just for the to tell me another 45 mins mind you staff is outside lingering around so the staff had no time to fulfill my online order that's ridiculous don't deal a $2 deal if you can't fill it. We were so excited to see Krispy Kreme and decided to stop by even though their fresh hot sign was not lit up. We were told there was a 12 minute wait on glazed donuts. We ordered chocolate glazed but was told they only had 11. They were out of mostly everything. It was mid afternoon so I guess they stop making donuts throughout the day. I've visited Krispy Kreme four times this past week--each time, hoping to get my hands on lemon-filled donuts. Every single time, I've left disappointed because they didn't have any, even right after opening at 6 a.m. The sweet smell of donut dough and icing that wafts out when they open the drive-thru window is always a nice touch, but the experience quickly goes downhill from there. One employee mentioned their drive-thru doesn't actually open at 6 a.m., even though there's no signage anywhere to inform customers of that. Today was the last straw. I went to pick up donuts for my parents and ordered 3 glazed and 3 lemon-filled. The employee took my order at the speaker, then asked me to repeat it again at the window. I was handed a box and assumed, after all this time, I finally got what I came for. Wrong. Once I got home, I opened the box to find only 3 lemon-filled donuts--no glazed at all. After four failed attempts and poor communication from staff, I'm officially over Krispy Kreme. It's frustrating to keep showing up for something so simple, only to be met with repeated letdowns. read more

Ordered two dozen glazed donuts on the app and paid for them. Drive to the plank road location and asked for my order. The lady who waited on me was polite but said, "We doesn't have any glazed at this time." I don't like other types of donuts enough to get two dozen to replace all the glazed so I elected to get a refund. She then told me, "He's fixing it now. He'll send you something to your email address in two or three minutes." I pretty much left at that point but heard a ding confirmation the order was cancelled a couple of minutes down the road. The smell of donuts!!! It's a wonderful smell. The inside decor is so cute I could really just sit inside for hours it's very inviting. They now have a drive through, which I have never seen empty, it's always coming out of the lot and down the street. The parking lot is tiny and a super big nightmare. Sometimes you can't back out because really long vehicles park on the other side of the lot and you're sandwiched in your tight parking space already. I really like the ability to mobile order, I have found that this is my quickest option most of the time. Now for the actual doughnut, you cannot go wrong with the original glazed. The people of baton Rouge were devastated when KK closed down for renovations. I would see a photo update almost every month as the building got remodeled, many anxiously awaiting the reopening. So when they finally reopened, the crowd went wild! Lines stretched down the street, hours and hours of waiting. I didn't go during that time The hype has calmed down a bit, so I went this morning at 9AM. I placed an online order. You can walk up to the door to pick up online and mobile orders now if you prefer. The drive thru only took about 15 minutes. Friendly service and widely loved, yummy donuts. Love the online ordering! I work near here but live about a half hour away, so when picking up donuts for the work group, KK is a great option. I place my order before leaving the house and it's ready (usually hot and fresh) by the time I arrive. There are some good offers if you're part of the email group too, so I'll usually have a BOGO or similar offer. You can also accumulate rewards. The inside is always clean and although the area of town isn't the best, I've never felt unsafe coming in the morning. We also have come here with our kids after a visit to the BR Zoo. Wow, i rarely write a review but this place is a disgrace. Insane long lines, not for a lack of able bodies but out of incompetence. Cashier had trouble with adding up my simple order of 6 donuts. Zero napkins in the place. And then don't plan on bringing kids & expect to wash their sugar filled hands after. Bathrooms that are clearly labeled are locked. Store hours and 24 hours, I went to the drive-through just before 5 o'clock in the morning and ask for coffee they told me, i'm going to have to brew some.. I said not a problem. She told me she could not hear me, I said I am was happy to wait so she said I had to go through the front doors because it wasn't ready. I was hired there as a driver. I accepted the offer and all. Took and passed my drug screening and background check. I received my copy back over the weekend and then asked the guy who hired me "what should I do now if anything?" He stated he didn't know and later said that they chose someone else. I'm wondering how can you do that when you already had hired me? Then he said it was that my background had flags. I have a copy of my background check from the company that Krispy Kreme used to do my background check and I have not one flag on it and everything passed. So I stated that my background is clear and there's nothing on it. He stated " well good, we still chose someone else!" So not only did I relocate to be closer to a job that I accepted but I was also talked to in an sarcastic unprofessional tone. I've been to the location to speak to someone. The General Manager wasn't there, I tried to contact corporate but it was a struggle to get in touch with them. But I ended up reporting this incident to the customer complaint line and the guy sent my issue over to the correct department. That was days ago. I haven't heard anything back yet but my fingers are crossed. And I also tried to contact all the Krispy Kreme social media platforms about this but I didn't receive a response from Any besides one and I was told that that was just the media side of the business and they couldn't do anything about this issues. The only negative is that this is the only location in Baton Rouge and it's about an hour drive for us. We come maybe once a month. It's always a good experience. The drive through is always quick and efficient. Hot and fresh donuts every time. We're pretty plain and just get the original. They're delicious. Kids love 'em. You can't go wrong. If you download the app you often times can get BOGO free dozens, or get notified about specials. The coffee is great too. It's not Starbucks but still goes great with the donuts. read more

Today, we wanted to try the Original filled donuts, six chocolate & six vanilla. Believe me, the filling isn't like the pic in the app. The pic shows them cream FILLED. What we got was mayyyybe a small dollop, barely enough for a taste, if we were lucky. The other donuts; 4 Chocolate covered Kreme filled, 2 strawberry topped glazed, 2 lemon filled, 2 blueberry & 2 chocolate covered. The toppings were not consistent, i.e., the blueberry usually has a thin glaze on top, these have a very thick glaze. The sizes are not consistent.
