I stopped here one day on my way to work. The prices are very fair and I got so much food for the price! Their donuts are very thick and dense which is very different from most donut places. When they're warmed they are PERFECTION. If they're cold they're a little too thick but nothing some milk can't help with! Their kolaches are the best I've ever had. The sausage is fully encased in the dough and this is something I didn't know I needed. It was fantastic. I haven't been back and I'm very sad about that fact but plan to rectify that soon! I'm excited for yummy donuts! read more

Delicious! I love a hole-in-the-wall place, the staff were super sweet, and the glazed donut here is as good as any I've had. It almost had a beignet-like taste to it! Really happy I finally had a chance to get over here -- I'll be going back often! read more

I think this hole-in-the wall donut shop is a real eye opener! Who would have thought I would find the best croissant kolache (piggy in the blanket ) here! Croissant was super soft and flaky! They did use a sausage that encompasses jalapeño and cheese in it...but bc of the soft flaky croissant...I will forgive them! Now this is the first place I've been to so far that actually added jalapeños to their sausage, cheese, jalapeño kolaches! I really wish everyone would do this bc I want to taste the jalapeños itself! Donut holes were ok..prob softer if warmer. Haven't tried their donuts yet. How have I never heard of this business!A coworker shared a donut and it is one the best pastries I have had since childhood. Stopped by this shop after seeing a couple of reviews. I didn't realize this place was just right around the corner from my place! It's a small shop that offers a drive-thru, great for those who are trying to be in and out/on-the-go. I ordered a half dozen glaze donuts. They came out warm, the service was quick and the cashier was very friendly. On top of that, the donuts are so yummy! I lived in almost walking distance of this little donut shop a few years ago. I would get up early, sneak out of the house, and surprise my nephews with donuts for breakfast, when they would stay over. I always enjoy the slightly warm little white bag I get. Even now, I will detour to swing thru the drive-thru for a work commute treat. I only eat plain glazed donuts. This is one of my favorite spots. Tiny little donut shop. Pretty good selection of donuts and kolachies. They even have some specialty donuts available. What sets them apart is offering bubble tea. They have a good selection of flavors. Their boba and jelly selection is small but does the job. Bubble tea and donuts is a great morning combo. read more

I am officially sold that this might be the best donuts I have ever had. I order an eclair, Apple fritter, jalapeño Kolache and all are amazing! I love the thin crisp Apple fritter the most because most fritters are huge and almost to doughy inside this one is Chefs kiss perfect for my liking. The eclair was also good... the donut base was amazing and I loved how they didn't over load it with the chocolate topping but a little more filling would have been even better. This reminds me of a true home style family ran donut shop! I will be returning for sure! read more

I work across the street from this little hole in the wall and i must say they serve some really good doughnuts. The doughnuts are always fresh and hot and they are mouth watering. I almost have to get some every time i come to work. The ladies are kind and they move fast, i got 12 chocolate covered doughnuts holes for close to three dollars which is great! I think they are even better than Krispy Kreme and Mary Lees. I would definitely try them if you are on airline Hwy. they also have an array of other pastries to choose from as well. read more

As a donut shop, the donuts are great. I got two glazed donuts and a kolache. The donuts are nice and just the right amount of density. As for the kolache, I really enjoyed it as the pastry used reminded me of a thicker croissant with saysage. The pastry was light and crispy. I also tried the bubble tea - taro milk tea and match milk tea with tapioca. Overall it's okay, the drink dissociates a little bit of left to sit. Taste is similar to other bubble tea shops. Overall staff is nice and as a donut shop it is good. Will try a smoothie instead of bubble tea next time. read more

This place is close to home and on the way to work. They have GREAT donuts at affordable prices. Went buy yesterday around 5:30 am and it was busy. The owners and workers are always smiling and have a great professionalism that's hard to find these days. They serve all the basics, but I love their apple fritters and twists. I was skeptical about this place at first. However, now that I've tried it I can assure anyone that it is an amazing donut place. Donuts are perfect. Kolaches are HUGE pastry puffs with delicious jalapeño sausage inside (get more than one for yourself). Going back today and will be trying out the apple fritter and cinnamon rolls. read more

Great tasting fresh glazed donuts! Their chocolate donuts are delicious!!! Can ask for hot, too! Try their chocolate donut holes- Yum yum However, I suggest they clean up around their building because it is extremely nasty. Remove the junk from behind the building that patrons have to drive past when they see the building. Power wash the building and parking lot. Building improvements needed! read more

Hole in the wall with drive through. The coffee was pretty good, service was good, hot dog in a croissant was good. I recommend coming here if you dislike starbucks. It's conveniently next to a liquor store. read more

From out of town, stopping at baton rouge visiting a friend and tried out this donut place. Super friendly service! I had the best croissant I've ever had in my life. The croissant was light, fluffy, and crispy. When you bite onto the outer layer, it will make a crunch crunch sound, then the fluffy soft inner layer added a beautiful balance. Located along Highland Road just outside of the LSU campus, this Asian-owned biz has been hiding behind a popular Chevron gas. station. It's not much to look at from the outside, but fans of donuts and kolaches will be able to enjoy something here. The inside is quiet and has limited counter seating and goes heavy on the LSU decor. It feels like a cafe that is dated but still hasn't finished the renovation. I imagine the idea is to pump some gas and get a donut, which has a staple format for so many BR peeps. The menu will always elicit a double take from me, with its awkward placement of numbers and the fact the stickers are so large that they had to abbreviate kolache to "kolach" and jalapeño to jalap. What's not condensed is those prices, which show nearly $40 for a dozen boudin kolaches and $12-20 for a dozen donuts. The breakfast croissants are $44 for a dozen, which just feels very steep. If a donut maximizes the taste, then the value is sometimes justified. However, trying their glazed, sprinkled, cake, fritters, and chocolate donuts, I can't say they're exceptional. The jalapeño kolaches and boudin kolaches were solid, but I'm not likely to order them again. The fact they still have Yoohoo in the fridge, is a nostalgic throwback I can appreciate. The owner is a sweet Cambodian man and is welcoming for every customer. Any attempts to use a credit card will incur a 50 cent surcharge for any purchases less than $5. Parking is limited to the gas station spots, but it's never crowded enough in here to be an issue.
