Better than that I gave her a good tip cause she was great. We had two appetizers. We had the big wings.-have barbecue half mild buffalo and they were excellent we also had the spinach dip and it's worth going back for. We didn't have much room left for entrées, but my husband and I both had the catfish and shrimp platter. The fish was nice fresh and tasty so with the fries I didn't eat any shrimp yet cause I was too full. I was so greedy. I ordered dessert for us to bring home. My husband said the king cake bread pudding was great. I ordered Bronnie Alamo, but haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'm sure it'll be great too. Will definitely be back. Can't send pictures cause we ate it.

Basel's Market was recommended to us for lunch while staying in St. Francisville for a weekend…read moretrip. The building is absolutely precious, and includes many places to eat inside and outside (even some porch seating). There is also a little store area inside where you can buy various gifts, branded merchandise, snacks, and even some of the items off of the menu (we purchase containers of basil dip and chicken salad to bring home with us). You order your food at the counter and are given a number for your table (self-seating). The food was brought out as it was ready, which was rather quickly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We ordered The Basil (sandwich). My friend ordered it as-is, and I ordered it subbing mayo for honey-mustard. We also ordered the Basil Dip. Everything was so fresh and delicious! I would highly recommend making a stop here for lunch if you're in St Francisville!

What a cute little place! They will be moving to a new location (arguably better) soon. Meanwhile,…read moreI went with my daughter to lunch here as it's her favorite place. She had one of their gourmet sandwiches and I had a salad. The service was warm and friendly. The salad that I had (The Courtyard) was delicious but it is definitely for a smaller appetite. The dressing was delicious and if they bottle it I'd buy it. I'd put it a little on the pricier side for what you get but definitely a good spot for lunch.
