avocado toast

Amazing drinks here!! The coffee and smoothie were very good. The avocado toast too had great presentation and flavor! Good service too, it was also quick. Cute place wish we had time to sit in and eat!

Coffee was delicious and so were the grits. Service was great and it's in a great location. Perfect for a quick pop in before hitting the road for adventure!

Interior

Cute little coffee shop.. very ecceletic vibe.. great place to grab a cup of coffee or something cool and spend a bit with friends.. plenty of space but very limited food selections... it was mid morning do we settled for a bagel and one of the few remaining pre-wrapped biscuits in the display case.. not very noisy so that was a plus!

Cute, chill coffee shop! The herb and cheese toast was amazing, and the blueberry cream cheese danish was a great pairing with the dark roast coffee.

They no longer serve "traditional" breakfast like bacon and eggs but they still have food for breakfast or lunch- avocado, salmon toast, waffles, and more. Great seasonal coffee selection very interesting.

Cool little spot ,,,, i've had a lot of coffee in my time, but I give the credit where it's due. ,,I'm going to have to get some more before I drive back to LA. Thanks for the hospitality.

I really enjoy at stop at the Birdman! I recently stayed over in St. Francisville on a work stint. And I got up extra early, left my hotel and was the first one at the Birdman at 7 AM. It was worth it! I enjoyed a cordoba coffee, an omelette and bacon with delicious toast. I even got a quick sketch started of my breakfast. Salmon and banana toast

Coffee is self serve so you can get as much as you want. Food is decent. Service is quick. Not a lot of seating.

Breakfast sandwich and strawberry banana Nutella toast.

This is the best representation of St. Francisville. The quaint coffee shop and breakfast spot is a true local treasure. Community, music, art and great food make this a 10/10 experience. The baristas are amazing and service is never lack luster.

I've grabbed coffee here a couple different days, and today I finally sat for breakfast. No one else in the family felt like getting out of bed, so I had the quiet treat of enjoying this visit solo. I opted for the Tradition - a nicely priced plate with eggs, bacon, grits and a wonderful homemade sourdough biscuit. Staff is friendly, and the place is clean with clear social distancing measures in place. There's an upside "window" set up from the patio, or, you may walk in if you are wearingI can't eat this rich everyday, but I do intend to stop through at least a few more times on our visit.

Definitely a small town cafe with big city ideas. The building itself blends in well with the old nostalgia of its surroundings. The interior is stuffed with odds and ends of trinkets, paintings and doodads if it wasn't for the food and tables, you would think you were in a antique shop. Our table was old Aluminium side table that resembled a stove top. Our server was very friendly and prompt to greet us. The menu was simple with gourmet titling. The food itself was , well, run of the mill. Nothing spectacular. I was disappointed that they didn't have hash browns or home fries. Considering the feel of the environment and the menu style, home fries would have been a perfect fit, rather than yellow grits. (Which weren't bad, considering I don't eat grits really and it came with the meal). My girlfriend got the "low cal" meal. Her food, as she describes it, was pretty bland, the bacon looked like super thin bargain brand. My meal was good enough to finish, I thought the egg portion seemed a bit small. The sausage seemed a little salty also. For a weekend or occasional breakfast stop , this place would fit the bill. I would think we would dine here again if everything else was closed.

Omelet with wheat toast.

Unique selections with food and coffee. I ordered the S'more Latte with almond milk and couldn't taste the 's'more' flavor just mocha.

Basel's Market was recommended to us for lunch while staying in St. Francisville for a weekend…read moretrip. The building is absolutely precious, and includes many places to eat inside and outside (even some porch seating). There is also a little store area inside where you can buy various gifts, branded merchandise, snacks, and even some of the items off of the menu (we purchase containers of basil dip and chicken salad to bring home with us). You order your food at the counter and are given a number for your table (self-seating). The food was brought out as it was ready, which was rather quickly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We ordered The Basil (sandwich). My friend ordered it as-is, and I ordered it subbing mayo for honey-mustard. We also ordered the Basil Dip. Everything was so fresh and delicious! I would highly recommend making a stop here for lunch if you're in St Francisville!

She had one of their gourmet sandwiches and I had a salad. The service was warm and friendly. The salad that I had (The Courtyard) was delicious but it is definitely for a smaller appetite. The dressing was delicious and if they bottle it I'd buy it. I'd put it a little on the pricier side for what you get but definitely a good spot for lunch.
