This has been one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I broke my ankle. I told Dr. Krieg that my main goal was to get back to work as soon as possible. I am on a single income and cannot lose my job. He stated he could do a surgery on Wednesday and that I could be back at work on Monday. On January 14, I had the surgery. Dr. Krieg did not speak with me after the surgery. I have been trying to get in touch with him regarding concerns and pain since January 14 (so for over a week) with no luck. I can only speak with Marissa, the physician assistant. It takes days to get a call back, and when I finally can speak to someone, my concerns are dismissed and I'm told that people don't usually have questions after surgery. I am still not back at work because the office will not fill out the forms I gave them from my office that would authorize a return to work. My pain medication ran out Monday. Dr. Krieg authorized a refill, but the staff will not complete a pre-authorization to allow my insurance to cover it, despite me telling them I'm in pain to the point I can't sleep or function normally. I feel completely dehumanized by this whole experience. I agreed to surgery in the hopes that I could return to work. Now, I'm in more pain than I was before the surgery. I can't get in contact with Dr. Krieg or anyone who is willing to address my concerns. I feel completely dehumanized that I had a serious surgery which I am experiencing side effects from. OK so my experience with this office over the last 5+ years has been excellent. Stephanie, the PA there is absolutely the very best I have ever been to in the last 6 decades. She is awesome. Patient, listens and is so helpful. The staff has been good to me, and they have a sense of humor. They answer the phone, which is more than other offices, based on reviews I have read. They are also very responsive to pharmacy calls, or refill needs. I really like this office and the folks who work there. HOWEVER, my problem now is that I have cancer and the place PrimeCare uses for cancer treatment is the WORST. For that reason alone I may have to move to another group. But if not for that, I am truly appreciate of the great care I have received here. read more

Recently lost a parent to an illness, a former patient of krieg. Although the illness killed him, he suffered for many months needlessly with a undiagnosed second illness discovered by another doctor who concerned by his symtoms, ordered a stool sample. Going to Dr Krieg's office is like receiving medical treatment the way it used to be and the way it should still be. I had to "pinch myself" after leaving the office to make sure I wasn't dreaming! They return calls promptly, call in prescriptions immediately. Never a wait for Appointments! I give this office 10 's not stars!! Thank you everyone in this office! I feel loved! The office staff are borderline rude and obviously don't care about the health or needs of the patients. It recently took me 2 weeks to get an oxygen order for my elderly relative. They don't seem to want to be helpful or friendly and there is no sense of urgency. There is no after hours answering service to reach the doctor in an emergency. The on call Doctor really isn't on call. The call goes to his office phone which states that the office is closed. On a recent visit we received a printout of CURRENT medications which was NOT current. They seem more concerned with inputting data into their electronic record software than interacting with the patient. The doctor is more than willing to throw pills at whatever ails you than to find the cause of the problem and deal with it. Do yourself or your elderly loved one a favor and find a doctor who cares about his patients and one that has hospital privileges. read more

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Krieg's for several years and we have been pleased with his office. The following occasion, however, puts them into the "amazing" category. Christmas week I called to see if they could squeeze my husband in for an appointment because he had a bad cold, has COPD and is prone to getting pneumonia. His receptionist, Diane, was wonderful and was able to get him in the next day. When Dr. Krieg's PA, Stephanie, listened to my husband's heart, she indicated that it was beating very slowly and requested an EKG be done right there in the office. She and Dr. Krieg consulted with a cardiologist over the phone and asked us to go immediately to an ER where he was admitted into the hospital. A few days later my husband received a pacemaker. We are so very grateful to Dr. Krieg and Stephanie for their quick assessment and actions which very likely saved my husband's life. I used to hold doctors in high regard until recently when my elderly father moved to Sun City and had a very bad experience with Dr. Krieg and his staff. Sadly Yelp does not allow a post without a star rating because Dr. Krieg is not deserving of the one star I had to select. I believe most people would agree that a doctor's bedside manner is often as important to his or her skill. Unfortunately Dr. Krieg does not demonstrate either. He and his staff are rude, insensitive and uncaring. Why on earth would anyone go into the healthcare field when it is obvious they do not like people. Carol, a member of Dr. Krieg's staff was so rude to another patient in the waiting room that I was shaking and almost said something to her. She treated my father the same way, abrupt and unhelpful. Dr. Krieg never would answer any questions my dad asked him and took weeks before he would write a referral which was unspeakable considering my dad has cancer. No sense of care or urgency. My impression was the doctor felt my dad was old and he could nit be bothered to try and help my dad feel better. I am sad that many of those individuals who may fall victim to Dr. Krieg's care or should I say lack of care do not use the Internet. This message is intended to provide individuals an honest view of my dad's experience while under Dr. Krieg's care. It took my dad months before he was able to find a more qualified and kinder doctor with a professional staff that returns calls, answers patients questions and really cares for patients unlike Dr. Krieg and his staff who must really hate their work fussed on how they treat their patients :( Sincerely, A caring daughter read more

My mom recently relocated from Nebraska to Menifee to live with us. Dr Krieg and his staff have been extremely professional, kind and helpful in getting my mom's medical needs taken care of. They were able to accommodate her very quickly as a follow up to a hospital visit. And quick to oversee her home care needs post op. I have called many times with questions or concerns and the office staff have responded quickly and been patient and thorough in answering my questions. Staff is very friendly and I'm a senior. The PA Stephanie is great. She is the only one that I have seen , Dr. Kreig came in on my first visit , shook my hand, introduced himself and left for a meeting. Have not seen him since ! But Stephanie is knowledgable, and I have no major problems that need to be dealt with by a primary doctor. I have appts with an Orthopedic Dr and a Neurosurgeon who specialize in the problems I have. Make your own conclusions. read more

I have been going to Dr. Krieg for a number of years as has my sister and my husband is the newest patient. I just love Dr. and all his staff. They have always been so helpful to us. The staff is so sweet and Dr. Krieg is very knowledgable. And also he keeps such a good eye on my BP. WE've never had a problem conversing with him about anything and I have never in all these years seen anyone being rude to anyone. All the girls that go in the rooms with a patient are all so special and Wanda and Carol are the Greatest. read more

My parents recently retired and moved to Sun City. Dr. Krieg was local and accepted their insurance plan. After meeting with Dr. Krieg the first time my mother said she would never go back because the office staff is rude and condescending to elderly people and Dr. Krieg has poor bedside manner. My father was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and so I accompanied him on his last visit to Dr. Krieg's office in April 2012. I was completely appalled by the experience. The medical assistant who took his vitals was the only person in the office that provided any type of patient service. The staff was rude, not just to us but to other patients I observed while we were waiting in the lobby. Dr. Krieg has absolutely NO patient/doctor communication skills. He did not make eye contact, did not listen and was unwilling or could not answer questions. I was so upset that I called the office after my father's visit to let them know that I was horrified by the experience. I spoke with Carol and her attitude was awful. I told her that my pets have a more humane and caring experience when they visit the vet than my father and I had in their office. I immediately called my father's insurance company and changed primary care doctors not a minute too soon! We are so blessed that we actually found a wonderful doctor who is taking care of my Dad. read more
