Dr Bagingito himself does not have the best bedside manner, but Mary Kubota, his nurse practitioner, is an absolute gem. She is kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. She keeps abreast of the current medical information while remaining familiar with her patients and their medical issues. It is generally very easy to get an appointment to see her. She is just terrific. Additionally, when my husband passed away, Dr. Bagingito signed the death certificate within three days, which greatly expedited the paperwork with the insurance companies, etc. This made a huge impact on filing insurance claims as well as being able to bury him. (Trust me, this is a big deal when someone passes away.) read more

I had an appointment today 1-20-22 with Dr. Bagingito. I usually see Mary but she was unfortunately unavailable. So this was my first time with DR. B . He does not have any bedside manner. His education included The Loma Linda University.....one of the very best.....this is where Dr. Salk invented the Polio vaccination. I live about 5 minutes away from this office so it's very close and convenient for me. My family has been seen by Dr. Bagingito a few times and have related that while he is a good doctor, his bedside manner is not the greatest and he doesn't seem to pay personal attention to you while speaking with you. His manner is not rude but rather just not outstanding. For me, I've seen the nurse practitioner Mary quite a few times for my appointments; in fact, I always request to be seen by her. She's very nice, caring, and personable and has always been attentive to my needs. All the medical assistants that I've met with are very nice as well. The front office staff is another story. Don't expect much from them as far as a nice greeting or smile goes, but they get their job done. read more

After fumbling with my appointment and lab the only thing she offered was "Bye!" sarcastically. Well bye indeed and good riddance. I apparently cancelled my appointment and rescheduled it just so I can cancel it. Really? Said that she called and left a message to let me know she scheduled my lab. Either Verizon system is malfunctioning or she is lying. Who knows? After explaining to her that I have to reschedule my appointment so I can fast for my lab, she scheduled me for the next day after my lab work knowing it will take two to three days before the results gets in. My first impression was them was not good. I called two weeks earlier because I was a new patient, and I just wanted to get a physical done. I made an appointment for two weeks later from when I called. I didn't get a reminder call the day before, but the day of my appointment, I went in and I was not scheduled. Wtf. I was so pissed. I waited two weeks for this appointment and I definitely called in. Idiots! They couldn't see me for another week, but the receptionist told me she'd call me if there was a cancellation. A few days later, she called me and I went in. My appointment was with Mary, and I loved her. First time meeting her, but she was super friendly and funny. I never write these reviews, but I felt this a must! I have to say the office staff is quite possibly the most unprofessional, incompetent group of people I have ever experienced. They seem to pick up the telephone when its convenient for them. After leaving 4 or 5 voice mail over the course of two weeks, and never hearing back from anyone, I finally spoke with a gal who was going to leave a message for the nurse practitioner to get back to me (who, by the way I did see once, and enjoyed). Two weeks laster nothing! I called this morning to try once again to get in, and when I told the woman at the front desk my frustrations (very politely, I might add) she literally hung up on me!! I thought, perhaps it was an accident and hoped she would call back.....NOPE! I truly think that office staff is a direct reflection of what is going on behind the scene. I am still a patient here and I am fairly new so not a whole lot to say about the Dr. The times I've seen him have been okay, but the front office is the most unfriendly I have ever experienced. I agree with the other yelpers on this one. I also arrived within the 15 min window and was sent back even though it was solely because I was stuck in traffic and was actually coming from work myself. Since the first day I walked in no smile almost like i need them and they don't need me type of attitude. Maybe they should work on that. Otherwise no other issues. I have been using Dr. Bagingito for nearly 10 years and am very pleased with him and his office nurse practitioner Mary Kubota. Getting a quick appointment is usually not an issue. While the wait time in the office can sometimes be a bit long, I see that he spends as much time as necessary to treat his existing patient, which in the long run is better. I have never felt rushed if he is running behind schedule, and have his full attention. read more

I was pleased with the fact that this office was able to get me in the same day I called. However, when I called to let them know that I was running a few minutes late due to a work emergency, they could have cared less and said that I could come anyways but the doctor probably wouldn't WANT to see me. After arriving I was greeted by a less than friendly front office staff. I was seen quickly but after explaining my symptoms to the doctor, he told me I did not have a sinus infection but instead a migraine. And even if I did have a sinus infection that he wouldn't prescribe me antibiotics because it's normally viral, not bacterial. This is the first time I have ever been told this in the 6 months I have been struggling with sinus infections. He prescribed me migraine medication and helped a great deal that night. The next morning I woke up in agony, full blown migraine. I called for a follow up and they took two hours to call back at which point I just went to the ER. I had a CT at the ER, confirming that I do indeed have a sinus infection which has been causing the migraines. Still have not received a full dosage of antibiotics and I'm still in pain. Conveniently, the doctors office is closed on Saturdays. read more

Ok, after reading other reviews about this practice I was a little skeptical about going here. I called to make an appt. and they offered me one for the next day at 9:30 am...wow! that is great. When I showed up I was brought back to the exam room at 9:35 and the doctor came in at 10:05, a little wait but I have had longer at other places. Dr. Bagingito was very professional and I thought very thorough, as a leukemia patient I needed a referral to a local oncologist and he referred me to one close to my house. All in all I was very satisfied with my visit here, the staff seemed friendly and efficient and if what I experienced today is what I can expect in the future...I am happy I chose this practice. read more

Ive been a patient at this office for a few years approx. When i first visited, i was seen by Dr. Baginito. I always try to see the best in people and am kind and sweet myself. So of course , i was anticipating a nice doctor. Well when i went in for my first visit with him i was surprised because he was somewhat intimidating. Not personable. Brought in his laptop, sat down, asked you what you were there for... And once you explained...all the while never really looking at you, but at his laptop. Typing... Told you that he would prescribe meds, or refer you to another doctor. Then it was, nice to meet you and out the door he was. I was upset. The office girls were nice, office beautiful, but doctor thumbs down. It seemed his office was more concerned with appearance than great bedside manner/ patient relationship. So i thought, i would give his office another chance. All this time i carried Aetna PPO/EPO insurance and worked at a hospital myself. Later i made another appt. with his Physician Assistant Mary Kubota. She was personable, knowledgable, focused, but sweet. So i just always visited her, however if you were ever behind on your physical or in my case pap-smear she would decline to refill your maintenance meds until you got in to see her. Im on thyroid meds and these aren't something you can just stop, nor anxiety meds. Also if you ever go in and don't have your copay they will decline to see you. In my case, my pap was covered 100% , so no copay for that, but during my recent visit the medical assistant popped her head in to say, " Mary will only see you for the pap since its covered 100% but if you need to talk about this or that you have to pay the 20$ copay. I was like, i don't have it for two days till/on Friday. I 'll bring the 20$ then. She said No. So Mary comes in proceeds to explain why they aren't lenient on a 20$ copay. Because someone had been seen without insurance, got treatment from her and took off afterwards saying FU. And not paying. I was so disrespected. A patient of 3 plus years, always having insurance, never owing them anything and treated me like that based on a new non insured persons actions. They would rather lose payment from Aetna plus a good patient over 20$ in which was going to be brought in on Friday or could have billed me. This office is Ridiculous, when i mentioned my points, office staff gave me a rude cold shoulder as i was leaving and a bogus lab slip that didn't have Mary's signature. In which caused more time and effort retrieving her signature at the hospital to do my labs. Changing My PCP, to someone who cares, and is not petty. read more

I will never see this Doctor again. he is very rude and dismissive. I have seen him a number of times and never has it been a good experience. He has missed diagnosis me for back and hip pain he stated that you will just have to live with it. no treatment was given for it. I had to go back two other times after a argument I was referred to pain management. my hip was replaced later that year. I live out of the area, but I liked (keyword: likED) her so much that I was willing to drive an hour and a half to go to her. After trying to schedule an appointment with mary for months now dealing with incredibly rude receptionists, I was finally able to land one. I show up to my long awaited appointment only to find out that Mary decided not to come in that morning. Great. The receptionist rudely informed me that they called me and left a voicemail (which I never received) and when I asked what number they called, I found out they called a completely wrong number. When I asked why they would call that number and not my cellphone number which they had been contacting me throughout this whole process, they basically lied to me and said they have been using that number for years now. They were so incredibly rude and unprofessional and would barely let me speak. Needless to say I'll be switching doctors and would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere who actually has caring and educated staff. read more

This review is about the office staff and not the doctors since I never got past them to be seen. I was assigned this doctor through our insurance. Made an appointment to be seen and when I got there I gave them the information that I was given and they told me they couldn't find me would not budge an inch to help. The lady at the front desk was so rude and had such a bad attitude I asked her if she could call my insurance and she simply said no. No explanation nothing. So I left crying after not seeing the doctor I made an appointment to see. I could tell from the moment I walked in that she was giving me and attitude but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and was cordial and polite in response. It was only after she had me sit for a half an hour that she told me she couldn't verify me. I'm glad I woke up early and wasted my time. I went to urgent care after and they had NO problem finding my insurance info. I would only hope after seeing the other reviews that these doctors would consider the impression their staff is leaving on the community. Horrible attitude. Horrible customer relations.
