I enjoyed a very nice wrap from Frutiza for dinner. I liked that they use the spinach flour tortilla for their wraps. I had them make the wrap with the roasted chicken with pretty much everything except the mayo. The wrap was only $6.75 which is very affordable. The wrap was very good. The chicken was tender and lightly seasoned. I liked that they cut it into good bite size portions. The lettuce and tomatoes were both chopped in easy size bites too and were fresh. I forgot to mention, that I asked them to add Mexican "Panela" cheese for a little extra. I think it was a dollar. The cheese was terrific and its lightness fit right in with the wrap. One thing I would suggest for them to do with the wrap is to toasted it on it sides on the hot griddle. That will help with the wrap not opening up while eating which was the case with me. It was not tightly bound and snug, so when I picked the halves up, many of the ingredients fell onto the plate below. It was not a big deal because I asked for a fork to eat the droppings, but for logistics, it would be a good idea to tightened up the wrap. The toasting of the spinach flour tortilla would be nice too. The ladies and gentlemen that own and work at this establishment are all very nice. I absolutely love everything I've gotten from Kravings. Been here probably 6 times and definitely worth it. I even came 2 days in a row because it was so good! The only reason why I give 4 stars is because their customer service could use some improvement. I don't know if they're stressed or need more help? But they don't seem or sound very happy to work there. They're not rude, there's just no smiling faces. Also, sometimes they run out of Açaí - so I would call beforehand to make sure they have it. I have gone in twice. Every time they are so friendly and the fruit bar is immaculate. They have a great menu! Very healthy fruit dishes, every kind of sweetener from agave to regular sugar, every kind of milk. Smoothies are fabulous, love the açaí bowls!!!! My favorite. It's unfortunate that I'm giving them a 3 star because I really liked their Chamango drinks but lately it hasn't been consistent. Also, I called today at 7:00pm as it states on Yelp that they close at 7:30. The first time I called, it rang and someone hung up on me. Then I called a second time and it kept ringing until it asked to enter a password to access their voicemail. We were going to be in the area so we were going to stop by and see if they're still open, it was about 7:13pm when we arrived and their open sign was turned off and their door was but still has customers in there. My parents usually love this place and recommended it to me. They even brought family there and the owner was being polite at first. I have tried the Cuban sandwich. Tastes like they just left all the grease from the chorizo in there . My dad has a sensitivity to spicy foods, but apparently the OWNER has an attitude when asked for no jalapeños, please. He ignored the first time when asked for no jalapeños, and added them anyway! and had a cocky rude attitude when giving out the bag of takeout saying "extra jalapeños". This is coming from the owner himself, folks. The prices aren't that great either. After he charged for a salmon wrap and they "ran out of salmon" the owner gave a tuna wrap instead and didn't even give some money back. $40 for 2 people is ridiculous. My husband was craving a Pineapple Bull from San Diego Blenders in the shopping center nearby, but they were closed, so we found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. *update- I've had the chance to try the asada torta and the chicken torta. Both taste wonderful. The chicken was surprisingly my favorite. Cooked perfectly and the flavors all blended together so well, my taste buds were singing. The asada tasted great but I had difficulty eating it. The pieces of meat were cut long instead of diced. This means every bite your pulling out a large piece of meat instead of just a bite. Otherwise, it was good. The hubby tried the Mexican corn cup and really enjoyed it. Since my 1st visit, I actually find that I crave the cha-mango. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now....finally went today to get the Cha-mango smoothie. It's pretty good. We got 3 smoothies. Orange, Mango, & Cha-mango. The orange tastes similar to an orange julious, the mango was Great, and the cha-mango tasted similar to chili mangos.
