It's been about a year since I first tried Kung Fu Tea, but I've stopped by several times since whenever I'm in the area. This time I got four different flavors: High Priestess, Honey Oolong, Oreo WOW, and Matcha. The worker recommended the Honey Oolong and Oreo WOW, and wow, they were definitely good recommendations. I can see why they call it Oreo WOW because it really lives up to the name! My wife really liked the High Priestess and Matcha, but the Oreo WOW was definitely my favorite. Their boba is just so good too--fresh, chewy, and honestly some of the best I've had. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the customer service was great as always. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm nearby! read more

Recently discovered this boba shop! The service is friendly and easy. They greeted us as we walked in and took our order right away. I got the mango green tea that already comes with mango jelly which is nice! They have plenty of seating as well as a cute table set up! They have a fun claw machine I try every time I go but sadly haven't had the best luck haha read more

Many boba shops nowadays are hit or miss with their consistency, but every time I come to Kung Fu Tea, it's always a hit. This location is in the Dobbs Center Shopping Center. The plaza can get busy depending on the time of day, so parking might take a minute, but it's usually manageable. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. The menu is displayed clearly on TV screens to the left of the register, which makes ordering easy. I ordered the Kung Fu Green Milk Tea with boba at 75% sweetness and my partner ordered the Oreo slush. The staff were friendly and the transaction was smooth. They also offer a rewards system linked to your phone number, which is always nice if you come often. Seating here is interesting. There are traditional tables and chairs, but they also have an elevated floor seating area with cushions. It's a pretty large space and I'm curious to see it when the store is busy because it's a unique setup for a boba shop. There is also games provided if you are looking to hang out here with some friends. They also provide free Wi-FI. The real standout here is the boba. It's never mushy or bland. It has that perfect bounce and a rich honey flavor that makes it different from other places. I've heard they produce their own boba, which might explain the consistency. The boba itself is sweet, I recommend lowering your sugar level if you don't like overly sweet drinks. The green milk tea was creamy with clear green tea notes that came through without being overpowering. The Oreo slush was exactly what you'd expect, a classic cookies and cream flavor that was smooth and sweet. That consistency is what keeps me coming back. read more

Such a cute spot I honestly I don't know why I haven't come in yet till yesterday! So glad we popped in and tried them. Sadly no photos as we were hopping in and out on a mobile order to get to another place quickly. But I was pleasantly surprised that they have a non-dairy menu, so absolutely adore that they do this for lattes for people like me with milk allergies. Also I like that they have teas, coffee, slushies, and a few other things on their menu it is quite convenient when out with others that don't like coffee or teas as much. The establishment itself was well kept, clean, and typical tea house vibes, upbeat music, vibrant art, cozy seating spots. The staff were so sweet greeting us and asking how we were and they packaged everything proper and safely for transport. I'll be back again when I'm in the area. Thanks KFT fam! read more

Mmmmmmm the boba here is absolutely delicious! The service was great, cashier seemed to really enjoy being there! Typical boba shop vibe, games, claw machine and a nice Chinese style seating area. The place is very clean and smells fresh! The boba was delicious as stated! Not too sweet and just the right amount of boba! Will definitely be coming back! See you soon Kung Fu Tea!! read more

Trying to find parking in this area is a nightmare. The Kung Fu Tea is tucked between the nail salon and Cosmo Prof, and when you finally do snag a spot, it's definitely tight. Chill vibe. Now, about the drinks -- I honestly thought, where's the rest of my drink? The menu or the ways they make the drinks may be slightly different from the Rancho San Diego location. I originally wanted a Matcha Milk with strawberry (not on the menu) so I ordered two medium drinks. What I got felt more like a child's cup than a medium. The balance of the drink was off too, which made me wonder why it wasn't listed. I ended up switching to a regular Strawberry Milk Tea instead. This time, it was actually really good -- lighter, not too thick, and tasty. The owner himself remade my order without any fuss, and he was super kind, which I appreciated. That said, I do wish they'd adjust the drink sizes. I would happily pay more if I had known the "large" here is basically the "medium" elsewhere. I guess that's what I get for assuming all Kung Fu Tea locations are consistent. Overall, the drink was good, the Bobba a little more mushy than it use too. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to return to try other drinks here. Giving 3.5 stars but bumping it up to 4 for the great hospitality. read more

This place is consistently one of the best boba places I go to. The service is always very nice, and you don't have to wait too long for the order. It's always really clean inside and they also have wifi if you want to get some work done. I don't know if they have food, but all the drinks I've tried have always been good and they have the best boba in my opinion. read more

After a hot workout class, I was craving a milk tea. I've been to the Kung Fu tea in the Convoy and always had good experiences, so I gave this one a try. I'd never had the Almond milk tea before but it was so. good. Seriously might be my new favorite! The flavor was perfectly balanced between almond and tea, and the boba had that classic Kung Fu floral flavor. The server was kind and the shop was clean. Don't miss out on this spot - it's tucked away in a shopping center! read more

I love Kung Fu Tea...like love love. Every drink I've had has been delicious and consistently on point. Not too sweet, super refreshing, and always hits the spot when I'm craving boba. The staff is friendly, fast, and keeps things moving even when it's busy, which I appreciate because I usually want my drink now. It's my go-to place for a little pick-me-up or a fun treat. If you like boba even a little bit, do yourself a favor and come here. You won't regret it. read more

When I say this is the new spot for drinks, I'm not lying. Super cute interior. Super cute decor. And the honeydew mania was so refreshing! I love this place for coming in for the first time! I'm definitely coming back. And the prices are amazing!!! Service was fast!! read more

I ended up here with Tim last weekend. It was kinda warm day and craving some boba, and found this through yelp. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea with boba and Tim had the Mango Smoothie with boba, and Mango Popping Bubbles. It was actually not bad. I always like to find good places as my go to for tea, and sushi when I am unable to make it out to Convoy. It satisfied my craving. I did prefer Tim's Mango Smoothie. We will definitely be back again. I want to try their KF Milk Tea, Mango Green Tea, and their Taro Slush. Since it's been hot, it does get crowded. I did like the customer service. It was fairly quick and simple. And it smells so good when you step inside. There's a restroom that's always clean and plenty of seating. Wish they had seating outside when it's not scorching hot. read more

Amazing service! They were so kind and told us we could split a large into two shorter regular drinks and offered to let them know if anything wasn't what we were expecting. I ordered the mango green tea boba 50% and it was a good sweetness! Still pretty sweet, but not overly. It had fresh pieces of mango in it which was great! The boba was good quality too. Thanks for a great experience! read more

They are always nice drinks are delicious and I even dropped my drink once and got a new one free of charge amazing place.

Always a great experience! I love the app so I can earn points. My go to is the almond milk tea. A lot of places it tastes like almond extract, but at Kung Fu Tea it tastes natural. I love it cold, but it's even better hot with the brown sugar boba! read more

Staff is friendly. There are lots of choices on the menu. Makes it hard to choose. Even a few coffee choices. I went with a blended coffee and my son chose strawberry milk tea with popping strawberry boba. Strawberry drink was a little on bitter side, but good. He prefers our other spot. read more

Usually I love this place, but I just got decived and with Christmas too. Bahhumbug. They have mystery bags at the front and I was expecting like maybe a candy they sell or a king fu tea logo sticker. Nothing crazy. But NO...I got a snowman and a broken ornament....like wtf? Oh and did I mention it is cash only and no returns. Can you say shady... If you're gonna offer a mystery bag...atleast put something from your store!? That's pretty standard. Someone's trying to earn some extra under the table cash this season read more

This is definitely the best boba spot in the area, they have such a huge array of flavors - sweet, savory, or something in between. They have slushes, smoothies, hot, cold, coffee, seasonal drinks, and even drinks made with milk alternatives (milk strike) so whatever your in the mood for they probably have something for you. The service is always quick even when they're busy. They have a few tables but it's not the most inviting spot to sit down and chat with friends. And the tables are always dirty. But like I said, their drinks are A+. I definitely recommend the brown sugar milk tea, taro milk tea, the Hershey's s'more slush, Hershey's iced cocoa, and the sunshine pineapple tea. read more

This place smells soo amazing when you walk in! It Smells like fresh Boba! However there drinks are not the normal Taste. Very weird and not good. They do make drinks very fast !! . However if you are looking for a delicious boba place this is not it. This place makes drinks that are not flavorful but more like a organic version. I usually get Taro or Thai Milk Tea wherever I go. And this place makes them but totally different taste . The Taro does not taste like the Taro you are used to. It is not purple and taste more like a super sweet milk with spinach and nuts. Does not taste like normal Taro.. And the Thai tea isn't the normal taste either not the normal orange color. My kids were sad and when they took a sip. They said it was so nasty. I gave this place another try and got the Oreo WOW and that was awful. The boba was hot and it melted the ice and the drink tasted like water with soggy unflavored Oreos.. read more

All it took was for me to try something different and the large iced winter melon milk green tea with Boba at 70% sweetness was a love at first sip !!!!! Something refreshing about it on this warm Saturday 06/01/2019. I can't wait to come back and make this a stable stop when I'm in the area. There's a few chairs and tables inside where one can sit near the door and then of course they have that nice seating platform I think it might be bamboo that you have to take your shoes off in order to sit up there- it was super cool to just see people hanging out talking and enjoying themselves. The staff are busy at work making everyone's tea and specialty drinks but they also take the time to explain their menu to you. There's lots of options and I like the fact that not only is there a menu posted on the wall but there are several menus placed on the countertop that you can also pick up and look at. The restroom was super clean. This spot super clean place in general. You can tell the workers take pride in their environment. It has a really good vibe with really good tea and I can see why it continues to bring in customers of all creeds, ethnicities, shapes, sizes and ages!!!! Very welcoming staffs!!!! read more

Service is awesome at least so tea joints and store is clean so we didn't mind waiting. Check it out read more

This has been one of my go to boba places for years, and even though the prices have increased over the years, it's on par with most boba places. The service is always great and there's a decent amount of seating and parking available. The cocoa cream wow is a more unique drink that combines lactaid milk with cocoa powder and it makes it even creamier when you add a milk cap, which tastes like salty cream cheese. I tried their matcha milk for the first time and it was very smooth and paired well with a milk cap. The boba pearls are perfectly chewy and sweet as well. Will continue to recommend! read more
