Stopped by Kung Fu Tea and got the mango slush with lychee jelly balls. It was actually really good. The mango flavor was super refreshing and the lychee jelly was perfect. Everything tasted fresh and blended perfectly. Definitely a good choice if you're in the area.

Trying to find parking in this area is a nightmare. The Kung Fu Tea is tucked between the nail salon and Cosmo Prof, and when you finally do snag a spot, it's definitely tight. Chill vibe. Now, about the drinks -- I honestly thought, where's the rest of my drink? The menu or the ways they make the drinks may be slightly different from the Rancho San Diego location. I originally wanted a Matcha Milk with strawberry (not on the menu) so I ordered two medium drinks. What I got felt more like a child's cup than a medium. The balance of the drink was off too, which made me wonder why it wasn't listed. I ended up switching to a regular Strawberry Milk Tea instead. This time, it was actually really good -- lighter, not too thick, and tasty. The owner himself remade my order without any fuss, and he was super kind, which I appreciated. That said, I do wish they'd adjust the drink sizes. I would happily pay more if I had known the "large" here is basically the "medium" elsewhere. I guess that's what I get for assuming all Kung Fu Tea locations are consistent. Overall, the drink was good, the Bobba a little more mushy than it use too. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to return to try other drinks here. Giving 3.5 stars but bumping it up to 4 for the great hospitality.

This place is consistently one of the best boba places I go to. The service is always very nice, and you don't have to wait too long for the order. It's always really clean inside and they also have wifi if you want to get some work done. I don't know if they have food, but all the drinks I've tried have always been good and they have the best boba in my opinion.

After a hot workout class, I was craving a milk tea. I've been to the Kung Fu tea in the Convoy and always had good experiences, so I gave this one a try. I'd never had the Almond milk tea before but it was so. good. Seriously might be my new favorite! The flavor was perfectly balanced between almond and tea, and the boba had that classic Kung Fu floral flavor. The server was kind and the shop was clean. Don't miss out on this spot - it's tucked away in a shopping center!

I really enjoyed my tea! They were able to make it extra sweet for me since I'm a fan of sugary tea! For my first time here I enjoyed it.

When I say this is the new spot for drinks, I'm not lying. Super cute interior. Super cute decor. And the honeydew mania was so refreshing! I love this place for coming in for the first time! I'm definitely coming back. And the prices are amazing!!! Service was fast!!

Mystery bag that came with snowman and broken ornament....yeah rip off

Usually I love this place, but I just got decived and with Christmas too. Bahhumbug. They have mystery bags at the front and I was expecting like maybe a candy they sell or a king fu tea logo sticker. Nothing crazy. But NO...I got a snowman and a broken ornament....like wtf? Oh and did I mention it is cash only and no returns. Can you say shady... If you're gonna offer a mystery bag...atleast put something from your store!? That's pretty standard. Someone's trying to earn some extra under the table cash this season

11/12/23- I went in at 12:09pm and I ordered 2 Thai Milks. No one was inside. One friendly cashier/maker. It took about 5 minutes to make. Easy and fast. The drinks were delicious. See the photos of the inside of the store.

Sometimes if I don't feel like chatting I use the kiosk, but in reality because of all the questions and prompting to pay, it's a bit faster to go through the cashier. I haven't played on the claw machines yet but it's pretty to look at. I never win so I don't bother. I generally order the green tea with no sugar and get lychee topping so it sweetens the tea just a little bit. My latest favorite is the Hawaiian Fruit Green Tea. The menu above doesn't give explanation nor does the kiosk really. It states a blend of Hawaiian fruits. Okay?, so this comes in XL only. Well the reason being is because they do put a lot of fruit in it. I wasn't expecting this the first time, and it was so good! I love it. The only downside to this place is that they don't have any hot tea. I was super surprised I didn't notice, probably because I usually go to the tea place down the street. Convenient location in the same plaza as Aldi's. Very small inside, most people just take the order to go. Too loud to actually stay there and work. Great place for a stop over for some great tea.

My order came out in about 3 minutes and staff was friendly. Food 4/5 -I ordered the Mochi Mango(keep cream top, minimal sugar). This is my favorite drink from a San Diego cafe! The mango comes in a puréed form, so refreshing! The mochi texture is suckable through the straw, suuuuper soft and thinner than most mochi you usually eat which makes it so fun to drink/eat. I do wish there's less of the icy slushie part of the drink and more of the mango and mochi bc those are the best parts. It also comes with a whipped cream top and little bits of cookie crunchies, both really yum as well. Ambiance 5/5 -The cafe has a generous amount of seating and warm lighting, chill spot to chat and hang out.

I can't comment on the drinks, but we love the mochi donuts here. They have a wide selection of flavors. I'll be the ones I can remember: ube, funnel cake, churro, dark chocolate, strawberry, matcha, creme brulee and more. Favorites so far are creme brulee, dark chocolate, ube, and churro. The donuts are soft and a little more doughythan standard donuts with a good taste of the flavors mentioned. They are not overly sweet like standard donuts from Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I feel like the sweetness doesn't dominate, so it allows you to enjoy the flavors a little more. The place is pretty clean and staff interaction is okay to good. They have self-ordering kiosks for convenience and ease of ordering. The donuts are a bit pricey, but what isn't these days? Lol. I think it was 6 donuts for $18 or something like that. I can't comment on the drinks. I would order a drink here, but probably without the boba. I just don't like how the boba is stored wide open, uncovered. I think part of it is my mild OCD nature. Lol Parking isn't bad. We have never had a problem finding parking here. We are fans of the donuts here. Maybe I'll order a drink here some day sans boba. 4 / 5: Donuts No grade on drinks 3.5 / 5: Service 3.5 / 5: Cleanliness 3.7 / 5: Overall (rounded to 4).

First of all the service was great and drinks were made in very timely manner! I ordered my girlfriend a Taro Blended with boba and I got her son a Watermelon smoothie. When I got the drinks I smashed the straw into the table (pointy side down)... true boba people know this is a terrible idea because it gets rid of the pointy tip to bust through the plastic top.... Well I was thinking I could muscle it through and nope... watermelon smoothie EXPLODED all over me and the counter top... while people were ordering I was so embarrassed haha the girl running the register immediately grabbed the drink and said "don't worry about it I'll make a new one and don't worry about the mess I'll take care of it" is till cleaned up the mess but the gesture was incredibly nice seeing how it was my fault. On the other hand the Taro was somewhat watered down and was not like most Taros, the Watermelon smoothie I didn't try but lil man said he enjoyed it and drank most of it all down. I think if you're craving boba while out shopping the mall this place idle good but to go to the mall for this boba spot..... probably not. Thank you for the amazing customer service Tea Monks
