We called Kraftwork for new siding in the summer of 2025 and decided to go with James and his crew. Everything was completed on time and on budget. Good communication throughout the process. Great craftsmanship and attention to detail. We would call Kraftwork again for future projects. They have done other jobs in the neighborhood and I would recommend them. read more

Simply the BEST! Kraftwork Design recently replaced the roof on our beloved mountain home and we couldn't be happier or more satisfied with the services James and his team provided. These guys went ABOVE and BEYOND expectations with pricing, promptness, availability and workmanship. James and crew are obviously incredibly knowledgable in their fields of expertise and it shows; from the moment they started working, these fellows followed through meticulously, resulting in a beautifully finished major home improvement project! Thank you guys again for all of your hard work. I highly recommend Kraftwork Design, James Saylor and his Team without hesitation. read more

This was our second time using Kraftwork Design... they are THAT great! I recommend them to anyone that mentions they need new windows or siding! James and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. We first used this company 7 years ago for a full home window replacement and we were so pleased that we knew exactly who to call this go around! We still got another quote from a different company just to be smart buyers, but price and quality doesn't compare to Kraftwork Design. We had Simenon windows installed in our last home, Anlin in our new home - both are fantastic products with great features. The team works quickly and efficiently - they even pointed out a few issues with my siding and gutters that I would have never noticed. Their service went above and beyond! Thanks again to James, Greg and the team! You guys are amazing! read more

This needed to be one and done as my client could not afford to have this siding job done incorrectly. I'm the property manager and I drove James crazy vetting his business, even emailing with his supplier, as there was a substantial deposit involved. James recommended materials with a lifetime warranty and made sure the siding and gutters were maintenance free because my client is an older woman with no family to help manage repairs or painting. Further, I hired an inspector review the job upon completion and he said it was great work. If you need it done right the first time, James is your guy. read more

I had James @ Kraftwork Design install new siding on my home last summer (2019). I had received several quotes before meeting James. Right off he impressed me with his professionalism and attention to detail. A couple of days later I had James' quote. He wasn't the least expensive, but his pricing was very competitive and my comfort level was (and is) 100%. The job started within 2 weeks. Rocky was the was the chief installer and did an excellent job overall. My home looks great and and I'm very happy. Now, fast forward one year. We have had a lot of strong winds where I live in Centennial, lately reaching into the 45mph+ range. One recent weekend, my neighbor noticed that the cap, Kraftwork installed on my Chimney, was peeling-off! It was just a matter of time, before it went sailing to the four winds...oh no!! At any rate, I'm soon to be 68 and I'm not getting on that roof, no way. I called James, he fit me into his (Covid) schedule, came over (with Mask), and screwed it back down. That my friends, is how business should be conducted, and that's the only way James does it. I always get between 3-6 quotes depending on the job description. But, once I find a contractor like James Saylor & Kraftwork Design, I never look elsewhere and I refer when asked. As a consumer and an MBA, I recommend you save yourself considerable time and call James at Kraftwork Design, he'll take care of the whole job, down to the smallest detail. L.Kelly read more

I found Kraftwork Design, Inc, on Yelp via a search for roofers with high ratings as we didn't want to mess around with questionable companies (we get harassed by enough of them soliciting in our neighborhood)--especially as we had a 30-year old wood shake roof and were concerned about the condition of the decking underneath it after all those years. I reached out to Kraftwork through the Yelp app--as well as three other highly-rated roofing companies--and was immediately impressed with James' (the founder and co-owner) quick reply to my inquiry, as well as the speed with which we received a very organized (and very reasonable!) quote offering three different roofing options. When I contacted James to discuss the options, he shared that he was very proud to use roofing materials from a manufacturer with a local plant in Denver, which supported local jobs, and that made a real impression--strong enough to persuade me to choose Kraftwork over the lowest bidder (approximately $600 difference, but still), and I'm so glad I did. The project manager, Gary, and his crew were phenomenal: great communication, swift work, and detailed clean-up. In fact, they got my house done (just under 3000 sq ft) in one day--including some new vents, ice and water caps (not needed per code, but they did them anyway), and new pipe jacks--and even with all that, proactively re-roofed my shed as well at no charge! My family and I couldn't be happier. Full disclosure: I'm super-picky. When I'm spending this kind of money, I need to have absolute confidence instilled in me very quickly by the person/company bidding on the project or I'll bolt. James and Gary did that for me in spades. Highly recommended, and thank you to all at Kraftwork!! read more

We had siding installed by James and his crew last November. James courteous, professional, and extremely patient with our questions. James was easy to get a hold of leading up to and during the installation process. And, James and his crew had our house completed in the promised time frame. We were very satisfied with James and his crew. Following the heavy hail storm we had at the end of June, we had some minor damage to our siding. I called James the next day and he came out, assessed the damage and sent me an estimate. We've already scheduled a time to fix the siding and will have it completed less than a month from the time of the initial damage. My wife and I felt very reassured knowing James was this responsive. Given both of our experiences with James, I would definitely use him again with any siding issue and I highly recommend you do the same! read more

In an industry filled with high-priced mediocrity, and worse, it's a relief to know there are still some honest contractors out there. People who do what they say, when they say will, for a price that's fair and reasonable. Kraftwork is just such a business. I have a property that needed new windows. The job was a custom job. I called Kraftwork and James, the owner, came out that very day. He was professional, intelligent, and seemed to intuit exactly the correct solution to my problem. He really held my hand through the process--I ask a lot of questions and have trouble pulling the trigger. James is patient and brings a great sense of humor to the proceedings. In the end, James came out and truly managed the job. His standards for quality were higher than mine, and I got the sense it was a matter of personal pride for him that the job was done right. I was thrilled with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to let Kraftwork set you straight. read more

We sat through a year's worth of terrible sales pitches and absurd estimates for replacement vinyl windows before we found Kraftwork. James had fair quote, was responsive, and did everything he said he would. His crew swarmed and did the whole house in a single day -- they were clean, respectful, and quick. We had a scheduling snag that was resolved quickly and without fuss. Bottom Line: Finding a good, reliable, and honest contractor in CO right now is near impossible, but Kraftwork is one. Hats off to James and his crew for a nicely done job. read more

I somehow got pushed into the task of hiring a company to re-do the roof and siding our our complex (10 units). The roof had damage from last may's hail storm, another company did some repairs in Nov and did a very poor job, ignoring small hail damage spots. Needles to say, come winter there were several units with lots of water damage. I chatted with 4 companies total and some quotes were comparable and some were WAY higher than Krafworks. After chatting with James and Gary several times I was confident that they had the best product and could get the job done to our needs and budget. Our building has a flat roof so we choose the Gaco product and so far so good....no more leaky roofs! We did have a few issues with the actual crew that did the roof install but James was very receptive to feedback. We enjoyed working with him and will be looking into using Kraftworks to redo the buildings siding. read more

James and the crew at Kraftwork Design knocked it out of the park with our new deck. We absolutely love it and are on it just about every night. James (the owner) was very helpful and accommodating, and the guys on his crew were great. They were very respectful of our home, very polite, and cleaned up every night. The composite deck material they used worked perfectly and the colors go perfect with the house. The deck turned out great and we couldn't be more pleased. All the guys on the crew are welcome anytime for BBQ! We'd recommend Kraftwork to anyone. read more

Really fantastic! I had four "5 star" places (from Yelp) come out and give me quotes for putting in all new windows in our home (we still had the originals from 1964). James was by far the friendliest (even our cats loved him), and also came it with a very affordable quote. His team was efficient (they finished 2 hours ahead of schedule), friendly, and did an amazing job. Our heating and cooling bills have dropped, the windows look gorgeous, and the whole company was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend! read more

Kraftwork Design did a great job with replacing 4 windows in my house. James went out of his way to come to our house on two occasions and demonstrate the window. The order was ready quickly. The installers rearranged their schedule to fit us in, and although they did arrive a couple hours later than planned, they were quick, tidy, and respectful of our property. The windows look great! I will call them again when we replace the windows on the other side of the house. read more

I got several estimates for window replacement, and Krakftwork was fair and honest with no pressure. James, the owner, checked all the work, and he was involved in the project--he didn't disappear. He showed up to check the work after it was done, and they cleaned up well. The quality of work has held up over several months so far. They also did some work to my front porch, and that was also well done. I would definitely recommend Kraftwork if you want a pleasant experience with no runaround. read more

I called a number of businesses and asked for estimates on a roof install. Kraftwork Design came in at the right price, and on the right schedule. They got the job done fast, and kept a clean job site. I'd definitely recommend working with them. read more

Our townhome needed new windows and sliding glass doors in the worst way. We set about doing our research and soon discovered James and Kraftwork Design. Not only was his bid the least expensive, it included a 25-year warranty for the windows and doors. Wow! James and his Team were responsive and easy to work with. His professional crew came to take measurements, answered all of our questions and we finalized the order with him. For the installation, his Team worked quickly and seamlessly to get the job done. They were probably the best installation Team that we have ever had the pleasure to have in our home. Not only is the installation structurally sound, the finish work and clean-up exceeded our expectations. And now we have beautiful new windows and doors to look through that work like a charm. The outside noise is completely (99%) eliminated when they are closed. It has made a huge difference in our home and our qulaity of life. We highly recommend James and Kraftwork Design. read more

James and crew were wonderful. Very fast, professional and did 100% of what they promised. I needed a very fast turn time due to listing our home for sale and James beat the next fastest turn time by 3 weeks, with an estimate that was about the same or less expensive than all other bids. Not only that, James assured me he would contact my insurance company and try to get them to give me more money for my windows and he also came through with that. I couldn't be more pleased and impressed with this company. I'm so happy I chose them and will definitely be contacting them for any additional window projects that I have in the future. read more

I requested an estimate about 2 weeks ago for 2 hail claim windows and 3 other windows plus a sliding glass door which I also wanted to replace on my home. Kara took measurements, said they worked with hail claims but did not know what RCV or ACV amounts were. Told me Kraftwork Design could provide me with quality products and services at very good rates and to expect a estimate within a couple days. Haven't heard anything from them since. Even if they felt they couldn't help me, the professional courtesy of a follow up contact was expected and would have been appreciated. read more

We just replaced 14 windows and sills in our tri-level house. We received 5 quotes for Simontons. James was the most professional by far. He sold us with his knowledge, price, and the fact that he said "it's not really the window, it's the installation", which after extensive research, we were quite worried about not getting a good installation. Then Gary and another gentleman came out and installed our windows. They were extremely courteous, well presented, and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. The installation was perfect. We are extremely happy with Kraftwork and highly recommend them. Thank you again for your honesty, professionalism, and integrity. read more

I turned to Kraftwork Design after the first siding contractor I was working with following the spring hailstorm vanished on me right as we were negotiating the contract. I had been frustrated by the first contractor's evasiveness in answering my questions, and as we negotiated the work he was going to do to repair my hail-damaged siding, the list of things to be fixed was shrinking, or getting shortcutted, even as the price kept going up without explanation. I moved on and got additional estimates, and in the end, Kraftwork was the clear choice for me. James did my estimate himself, and answered all my questions honestly and straightforwardly, giving me cost breakdowns for each part of the residing work. He was a huge help confirming my color selections, and even found a way to save me some money by suggesting a less expensive option for my soffits. My contract had everything spelled out in plain English, and the price he quoted me originally was the final price on the contract. James' siding crew was absolutely wonderful, and did a terrific job with the installation. Every piece of siding and trim was expertly cut and mounted. There are no crooked lines or jagged edges, as there were on my original 20 year old siding, and almost no seams. After removing the original siding and insulation, the team discovered that my front door, installed 21 years ago, was never even nailed into the framework of the house, and had been held in place all those years by the wood frame and the siding on it! They fixed it for me at no charge. The whole team worked hard the entire 5 days, were personable, and answered all my questions. James frequently called or stopped by to make sure that things were on schedule and that I was happy with the work. My house looks absolutely AMAZING, and I've received so many positive comments about it from friends and neighbors. Working with Kraftwork Design was a completely positive experience from start to finish. I recommend them without reservation as a local business who do fantastic work with integrity and commitment. read more

James came to my house to provide a quote about a bathroom and kitchen remodel project. He seemed interested in the job, but then I never heard from him again. He never submitted a bid and he never responded to messages I left him asking if he was still interested in the job.. Even the realtor who recommended him couldn't get a call back. He didn't even respond to a message from the realtor who recommended him to me. I can't speak to his work, but in my case, his treatment of a prospective client was unprofessional and inconsiderate. read more
