About six years ago we needed our roof reshingled after a crazy springtime hail storm. We chose Beyond Roofing to do the job and everything went well. This year we lost some shingles during a powerful windstorm. Dan at Beyond Roofing went the extra mile to source matching shingles, since the color of our shingles had been discontinued by the manufacturer. A couple of days latter a roofer arrived with matching shingles and made the repairs efficiently and with a smile. We went through multiple different roofing companies and got quotes from 5. Beyond Roofing was one of the most affordable. We initially picked another company being the cheapest trying to save $100. Boy was THAT a mistake. After signing a contract for that price, they inflated the cost to almost double saying it was an "error" and we needed to sign a new contract. We had to jump through hoops and retain an attorney to cancel that original contract. So you can imagine how skeptical we were when we decided to pick Beyond Roofing next. I about want to cry just thinking how lucky we got. They never raised the original price, they didn't play games, and most importantly... their work is top notch! Our house looks AMAZING. Other companies, you'll wait 2-4 weeks for material to come in, then another 2-4 weeks for the roof to be actually done. NOT with Beyond Roofing. One week! Yeup, within one week we had a signed contract and our roof done. We ended up spending additional money to re-do our decking... but it was our choice. What we suggest to people is do your research. Read the reviews. If they're off by a couple hundred dollars, go with Beyond Roofing. We regret not doing that from the start because it could've saved us 2 months of battling with another company who was shady, shady, shady! Todd inspected our roof and Dan did our contract. The most dishonest and unorganized company I've ever had to deal with. Avoid, avoid, avoid. They will insist it's necessary to see what your insurance company is willing to pay, then require it be paid in full before they will even start their work. They are in a hurry to get your money, but not to complete any work. They took 6 weeks alone just to give us a screen for our window. They hire contractors to come to your house and never schedule any of this, so you wake up at 730 am to a complete stranger banging on your door to "work" on projects. read more

This past summer, when I finally got around to replacing my roof from the infamous 2014 hail storm in Highlands Ranch, I was given Beyond Roofing's info from a friend. I'm very glad he suggested this company to me. Because of some odd circumstances on our part in getting checks to them from the insurance company, things weren't exactly straight forward. Beyond Roofing took everything in stride and assured me they had experienced it all before so it was no big deal. The sales guy, Jeff was professional and knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly. When the crew arrived, they got right to work and had the whole roof done in a day and a half. I was very concerned that we would have the same experience as almost all of our neighbors with trash, shingles and nails being left behind, but there was none of that. I literally found one nail behind a trash can and that was it. Like a lot of people, I usually only comment when things go wrong, but these guys did such a good job I had to post this positive review. read more

Based on our own experience with Beyond Roofing, let's just say that if you are looking for a roofing company to repair or replace your roof, they will probably do a good job for you. Our new roof looks pretty good. On the other hand, if you are looking for a general contractor to handle repairs other than just your roof, based on our experience with Beyond Roofing, you would do better to look elsewhere. Although they are more than willing to compensate you for work delays and errors on their part, this compensation does not make up for the fact that you just wanted the repairs done right (and in a timely manner) in the first place. read more

Everyone from Beyond Roofing was great to work with, and they made the whole process easy. Everything went smoothly, from the initial estimates, to working with the insurance, to the work itself and follow-ups. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They were friendly, professional, and kept on top of everything. They worked hard to put me at ease about the entire process. There were a couple of occasions where they were a bit late for appointments, but they were always apologetic and professional about it. Things happen, and it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. They also did a small board replacement around one of my gutters free of charge, and were great about recommending contractors for other types of work. Great job all around! read more

Then the gentleman who sold me the roof not only handled the claim process, but oversaw the project. When they were done they hadn't left a trace. Let me warn you about what roofing company you decide to go with. You pick the wrong one and you can be evicted from your home. It is very easy for a roofing company to put a lien on your house and you have no recourse and cannot access your equity. Beyond Roofing came to my door and said, "You have hail damage". My husband had just died from gastric cancer and I was exhausted from taking care of him on home hospice. I never had a claim before or a new roof so I didn't understand Beyond Roofing was cheating me until it was too late. We signed the contract in May for a Decra roof shingle. My copy of the contract only had my signature. Later, Beyond Roofing crossed out Decra but did not write in another roofing shingle and BR stated "we never agreed to Decra" but they wrote the contract I signed and it shows Decra. They will not inform me in writing what they put on my roof but I have learned it is a discontinued Tamko Metalworks shingle and they are Tamko Pros. They stole the insurance money and put a worthless shingle on my roof. They finally started work late August, three months after I signed the contract, but they would send workers only once a week so the roof took seven weeks to complete. For many weeks I only had the white membrane as my roof and my neighbors kept asking if Beyond Roofing had abandoned the job. Once you sign the contract Beyond Roofing can collect money from you even if they do no work. An inside worker stood around for three full days doing nothing because Beyond Roofing would never send a roofer to work with him. I kept begging Beyond Roofing to send workers to my house and they would ignore me. One day the owner Bob Pachmayer showed up and never came to the front door to introduce himself, I had never met him and did not know who he was. He walked through two gates to my backyard. When I came out my back door he started yelling at me and blaming me for all the problems and delays. When I started crying he laughed at me because he knew I had no recourse. You are held by the contract but Beyond Roofing is not. Beyond Roofing installed a skylight crooked, left holes in my interior walls, roofing debris filled my attic, and they do not have to fix!!! They cheated Liberty Mutual claiming they took off composite shingles on the garage and there were never composite shingles on the garage. BR is not satisfied making a normal profit and will cheat to get more $$$. They tried and failed to take almost $4000 my insurance company was reimbursing me. Read the back of the contract, they can take the insurance money even if the money is your reimbursement and rightfully yours. The gutters are unsightly and leak. BR started threatening me with an 18% lien on my property. I received no warranties. The will not inform me what shingle they put on my roof but it is not the one in the contract. We went to arbitration and Brian Friend and David Pursley lied in affidavits but would not be available to be cross-examined. Beyond Roofing uses a very expensive national law firm so you will never win against them even if they outright commit fraud. Bob Pachmayer bought a roofing company with a great reputation but he decided to trade the reputation for ill-gotten gains. Greed and trying to put a recent widow out on the street makes him laugh. I am financially ruined but I am still here to warn others. This was the worst experience of my life and I am close to 60 and my husband had just died. Roof Corp and Oh My Roof both helped me after I was swindled and they seem like really good companies. read more
