This is a long review but please read. First started working with monumental way back in 2018 when they finished an order to put in gutters and the rest of our roof when the previous company and who they hired just bailed, so we use the money to pay monumental. They did an extremely great job. They had helped discover that there was a leak an extension of the house where a window install took place only it wasn't noticed because my mother kept plants crowding the window. They worked diligently in fixing that leak and it was great for several months. They did say that the patchwork was not going to last long and was going to need that section of the roof replace because the original design was faulty. Since they guarantee their work for 2 years, it leaked again in a few months and they patched up the work again but said they did such a good job that the entire roof does not need to be replaced they could have very well replaced the entire roof and charged us. But they did not. Their work stands today in 2024 no issues and no problems. They recommended an interior person to help fix and reinstall the old wood paneling that my parents liked. The same person also insulated my garage and discovered the pylons holding up the living room on the extension that was built above the garage head rusted through.( that's a long story on my house foundation) My father offer them to build our back deck, and normally they don't do that kind of thing just Roofing and gutters what they did that as a favor to my dad. Unfortunately, due to covid lockdowns project was unable to get underway until a year and a half later. My father passed in 2020. When they finally got the deck underway they even pitched in a plaque in honor of the passing of my parents and finish the deck. Before the deck was constructed the meticulously made sure the materials were spot on and there were multiple mistakes by the suppliers and they made sure to return those materials and get the correct ones. Unlike most places that I've dealt with they usually charge or come up with some reason do not return materials or just work what they got without telling the customer and you don't find out till someone else points it out past the guarantee. Tamara made sure the suppliers were held accountable. That project was finished in 2022 The most current project I asked them to work on was installing a solar-powered attic fan because the attic fan was holding in heat and raise my energy costs along with cooking the shingles. Unlike the other company that I was just going to install some plastic extenders that go under the shingles I had a feeling it was bull crap I just wanted to see what they would say. Monumental did they install at almost a third of the cost. Monumental has always been honest, open, reasonable, and diligent. In my book they are a six-star company!!!! read more

This was a relatively small job to repair some siding after it was damaged when a new roof was installed, as well as install an attic vent. I went through the roof installation company as well as another contractor and both of them did a terrible job, and had some unprofessionalism. I was starting to think it might be impossible to find a contractor that takes pride in their work and does it right, rather than concerning themselves with cost and time. Then I found Dan from Monumental Construction and he was everything I thought every contractor should be, and then some. On top of being incredibly professional and friendly, his work was infallible. A contractor that uses siding nails into the intended siding nail slots, rather than using screws to go through the siding - who would have thought? I can't recommend Dan enough, on enough platforms, so prepare to see this review on all of them. I will certainly call Dan for any future roof or siding work. If in my attached pictures you can't see where the work was done (aside from the added attic venting) - that's kind of the point. read more

Monumental construction is awesome. They were always communicative and told me what to expect so there were no surprises. We had a lot of work done - windows, stained siding, and gutter replacement. This is literally the first time everything had worked without a hitch. I completely trust these guys. They did exactly whay they said they were going to do and they did an excellent job. Never once did I have to worry about things being missed or not being done. Its a relief finding a company I can say that about. If you are like me, the process of finding a reputable service in this industry feels daunting, and always a nagging that you might get taken advantage of in the process. Let me tell you, if you have any feeling of that sort, use Monumental Construction. They were accommodating, reasonable, professional, and didn't even want to talk final payment until after the work was done, approved, they were packed up and gone. Not only that, but it was evident, without question, that they were working hard to give the job their very best, and they were proud of their work, for good reason. It was impeccable. I contacted Monumental Construction about gutter services and couldn't be happier that I chose them for the project. Everything from start to finish was so great. Dan came to my home and took his time looking over everything before thoughtfully explaining his recommendations. I could tell from the get-go, that he wasn't there to just sell his services. He was there to find a solution that fit my individual needs. He suggested areas of improvement and gave me numerous options and workarounds for the issues that he found. His office managers followed suit and turned his estimate around almost immediately. They got me on the schedule and worked with me around the crazy Colorado weather. When it came time for the actual repairs, I was met with Ethan. It was apparent that Dan's customer service, friendliness, and work ethic trickles down from the top to his whole team. I would label Ethan as a quiet professional. He showed up with a smile and got right to work. He worked his way around the house and completed the project just as described. He asked if we had any concerns and then as quietly as he showed up, he was off to his next job. He left the house better than he found it and you wouldn't even know he was here. This company was wonderful to work with. They were the best quote but more importantly the quality of their work is top notch. They even recommended a great painter when the siding was done. They were more than half way done with the siding and we made a change to add more siding. They were so kind and gave us an updated quote right away. I was jumping through hoops and going a million miles an hour trying to get my house ready to list for sale after an unexpected job transfer. I knew I had a siding issue that may draw attention on inspection so I contacted Monumental Construction. From the moment they picked up the phone my experience with them was an absolute pleasure. Kesha was super friendly, courteous and sympathetic to my situation. She arranged for the owner of Monumental to come out the very next morning to take a look. Unfortunately I forgot his name and lost his card but what an awesome guy. Very nice and friendly. He took a look at what I thought was a relatively big problem and he gave me some techniques that I could use to fix it myself. He then walked me around the rest of the house and pointed out issues I could also address. Finally he grabs his ladder and takes my up on the roof to check that out, ultimately saying I was good to go and not trying to sell my anything. I don't think that has actually ever happened to me. Awesome company, awesome team and awesome owner. I got a hard working honest vibe the whole time. Would have hugged him if it wasn't for Covid. Virtual hug for Kesha too.
