Always decent food here. Wasn't a fan of the pancakes - way too big. Would have rather had smaller pancakes with better filling. Home fries were outstanding. Pretty steady even later on a Saturday morning. Friendly waitstaff and food came out hot.

We had an early morning drop-off down the road for our car so we thought we'd grab breakfast since we were out. My husband and I both are continuing with our breakfast burrito obsession and when we saw a few on the KP Grill menu, thought we'd give it a go. The inside looks like you would expect any small diner type place in New England to look. There is a large area for outdoor seating, but it was raining the day we were there. We both ordered the chourico, pepper and onion wrap with a side of home fries and coffee. The coffee was OK, nothing special but it did the trick. We both enjoyed the wraps and home fries. Shout out for the service though. the gentleman that was working was quite attentive and our coffee cups were always full. I'd stop by again.

Just had to try the burgers.. Ordered one med well and med both came out perfect.. Home cut fries were delicious also tried the pulled pork chili..damn it's good and savory just right. Cook on both burgers was perfect.. Bun choice was good too. Lettuce and onions fresh! Good stuff here. I'll be coming back on Saturday for smoked pulled pork.

Worth the trip even if it's just for their homemade cherry-applesauce jam! Gotta try it.

The KP Grille is a small diner located on Rt. 44 in the woods of Rehoboth, MA. Newly renovated, this restaurant lacks the small town appeal it once had. Before its makeover, "The KP" was a cozy 4 booth and counter restaurant. Everyone knew each other, the grille cook was located just behind the counter chatting with the customers, and the worn bar stools a constant playground for the little ones racing to see who could spin them the fastest. Eating lunch here is now, just like eating lunch out anywhere. The waitress comes and goes, there's no grill cook for entertainment, and the booth backs are now so high you can't take a look around and see the other patrons. Little community atmosphere here, now much more independent and cold. Food is satisfactory. Your basic cheeseburger with the usual adornments. Happy to see that the french fries have not changed, just as tasty as ever. If you need a place to stop in for lunch, I recommend it, reasonable prices, reasonable food. Beyond that, I'm sad to say this place has lost its appeal for me. Goodbye to the familiar jingling bell, old school cash register, and group laughter. . . un-welcome to big screen tvs, secluded seating, and hidden kitchens/staff.

    Clam Cakes & Chowder

Wow!! That clam cake & chowdah was amazing! Made me feel like I was right by the ocean but the taste was even better. So buttery. The chowder was thick and delicious!!! The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had as well! CRISPY onion. Not soggy whatsoever - amazing taste of crispy batter! We found this place by simply driving to a yard sale.. so glad I was craving clam cakes and chowder because now I have a new hidden gem close by!! :)

First came the wings, wet and flavorful to the max with an extra dilly ranch and real bacon crumbles. Then came the cupped pepperoni pizza on a wheat crust, greasy but not more than you would like to be. In previous visits I have had the BLT and mushroom banh mi to which I also cannot rave enough about. Get out of your house and grab a beer at Buttonwoods and food at Screaming Unicorn so you know what it's like to live a life full of hops and flavor!

RI food fights brought me in and you don't get access to the whole sandwich menu here, unfortunately you have to pick between their "Mushroom Bahn MI" and their "Screaming BLT". I went with the BLT since I wasn't feeling the vegan option. The description was "chili-hoisin glazed bacon | sliced tomato baby greens tomato jam | dill pickle pickled red onion chipotle aioli toasty thick-sliced white bread". Honestly, it was underwhelming. It had some tasty components but it was pretty average. The bacon was terribly weak. It was probably frozen precooked bacon that is heated and brushed with a hoisen glaze. I was hoping for some thick cut glazed almost candied bacon. Their avg. sandwich was around $16-17. If paying for that, I'd be left pretty disappointed. On top of that, it probably took around 35-40 minutes to get the sandwich. Again, pretty okay sandwich, the pickled onion, tomato jam and Chipotle aioli elevated things, but it's in vain with the bacon they use. Their other sandwiches sound good, so it's possible I'll visit to try them out at some point but can't see myself running back here after my impression with this BLT.

The sandwich had turkey, cheese, bacon ( I picked off), greens, and a delicious aioli sauce. I suggested that my husband and I go in and try it a couple months later. It is located in the same plaza as Avenue N in Rumford. The storefront is made up of a glass "garage door" so it is pretty cool and unique inside. Service was prompt and friendly. Hubby tried the Cuban, he loved it, and I, creature of habit, stuck to my turkey panini. Once we ordered, the sandwiches came up faster than I expected. I had to use the bathroom and had to go next door to Avenue N. The owner or manager held the door for me, and was very friendly. Everyone that we have met there is friendly. If you want a good sandwich you won't be disappointed!

Just a sandwich in regular size bread pressed as a panini, and it was $12!!! I had no idea until I had to sign for it! The special board didn't have a price and all the other sandwiches were around $8 so I thought it would be the same. Even worse, one bite in and I was disgusted. The chicken was not cooked well and had that rubbery texture where you have to really pull with your teeth to break it. I threw it away after 2 bites and I'm gagging thinking of it. This could be a one off, but I'm really bummed about wasting $12 on my one spend day of the week! I have some other little gripes that honestly bring down my old rating too. We bought some stuff from the shop, which is still really cute and offers a lot of local (though very upcharged) stuff. And when we checked out, there's a line for tip! Everyone feels weird leaving a tip line blank, so why is it there! Just to make us feel awkward?!? All they offer to drink is hot coffee or cold brew, everything else is a deli or store or serve yourself food so why even tipping! Just made me and my friend awkward leaving that line blank, made us feel rude but why would we tip for only buying grocery items.

I got the fisherman platter which included fish and chips, perfectly cooked fried nice and crispy fries, with fried clams and fried scallops. Fries were perfect and came with a nice little coleslaw cup too. Couldn't finish it! My buddy got a baked stuff lobster and that took a few minutes. It was stuffed with scallops! Came here before a concert at XFinity based on Yelp reviews. Provalone's is a very unpretentious little spot with a big menu, great prices and friendly service. Also, surprisingly fresh, quality and tasty food for what you might expect from the outside. Definitely a book that can't be judged by its cover. This is primarily a takeout spot and catering service. While we were sitting and enjoying our dinner they were loading up a large catering order for a customer and several people came and left with good sized orders. Clearly the locals enjoy it here. I went with the chicken parm sandwich. I expected a fried, formerly frozen patty and mediocre sauce Inna roll. What I got (for a very reasonable price) was real chicken breast, clearly hand breaded and fried, with a chunky, fresh, tasty sauce that ended up being a bit watery when put up against the cold provolone in the roll and made everything a bit uncomfortably soggy and messy. This may have been alleviated by baking the sandwich a bit before serving. Sandwiches come in one size here, which is a 12-in grinder. I would have ordered a slice as well, but the pizza in the case seemed to be pretty old and needed a refresh to be appealing. There is a very large menu, including pasta platters that include penne, ravioli or tortellini with meatballs, real veal or chicken. That's unusual for a takeout place with just a couple of tables. But it was among the many very pleasant surprises here. Good food, great prices and friendly service at a nice local spot with great menu variety. If you're nearby, I would definitely recommend giving Provolone's a try.
