However, I was hopeful when I left with one huge bag. I received three croissants, one chocolate frosted donut with cream inside, three brioche buns, and one muffin. The almond croissant was really good; I'd go back for it again. At Rimini's, their almond croissant is just almond flakes on the outside, but at Nuccio's they have almond paste on the inside of the croissant -- so delicious! I would steer clear of their donuts, it was very bland and the texture was no good; even Dunkin' has better donuts! The bread was acceptable in taste but had a really tough texture. The muffin was not memorable.

I also find a lot of it does not hold well. The cookies crumble quickly and the apricot hamantashen is fairly bland. I also got a raspberry one that is decent. Their black and white cookie stands up well to most others in the city. They also proudly sell Linzer tarts, which I had to get, and hopefully it holds up. If not, it will not bring this review down any further. I know what this bakery is without having to do that. I will stick with Cuccio's.
