This place has been here a while but I've never tried it until today. They are located on the 2nd floor in the food court. Almost as soon as you get upstairs from the main escalators. Located upstairs inside Broadway Mall right when you get off the escalator is Kong Dong! My kids love the beef dog! Cheesy beef dog! The wait time is long. Like 7 mins for an order? I was at the mall picking up a gift for a family member, when the urge to eat came over me. It's been awhile since I walked the mall. So I headed up to the food court to see what was new. Heading up, where McDonald's use to be was "Kong Dog Fresh New Corn Dogs." In Seattle, I loved this things. I figured, let me try it out. Heading to the counter, there was a girl on her phone, whose attention I had to grab in order to get service. I liked how you could choose hotdog, cheese, or fifty,fifty for your corn dog. She rang me up and said "five minutes." That was it. Then she went right back on her phone. After about ten or so more minutes, my treat was ready. I asked for sauce sat down and started eating. Let me start by saying, they were okay. The crust lacked flavor, but that's what the sauce was for. The hotdog they used actually tasted really good. However, I can't believe I'm saying this, but they used too much cheese (trust me I know, I love cheese). So much in fact I had to grab a drink. So I march back there and asked with no ice. It took three times for her to get it right. I get it, force of habit, but I was in the background saying "no ice." So, I took my sugary drink and finished my meal. Now you're wondering "would you go back?" And the answer is "yes" I probably would. I just know next time stick with the hotdogs they are a much better choice. read more

We have been saying for the longest time that this is MUCH NEEDED on Long Island! Welcome to the area guys! So many options for making your own perfect Korean Corn Dog, flavored lemonades (I mixed to create a Strawberry mango) and other drinks, fries. This place is great and you need to get there NOW! The corn dogs were cooked perfectly, the cheese was gooey...my favorites are the Sweet Chili Doritos and the Hot Cheetos Kong Dog. Freshly fried, crispy, sweet, and salty? Count me in! Especially with great customer service, friendly staff, and a really great Korean corndog, I just had to get one to try. They also serve a variety of drinks ranging from boba/bubble tea, lemonade, lattes and more. Kong dog is located on the second floor of a Mall, in their food court area. The batter of the corndog was surprisingly not thick/doughy at all which was really nice. It was thin, light, crispy, rolled in sugar, and topped with any sauce of your choosing. There is also so many variations available, theres bound to be something to your liking. I really enjoyed my order of the original half beef and half mozz Kong Dog. Ordered online for pick-up and got 3 dogs: the original, a hot cheeto, and a potato. My favorite was surprisingly the original although all three were good. They were fried very nicely, crispy on the outside, great hot dog and cheese on the inside. I am probably biased because I love corn dogs, but I would definitely recommend for a quick snack. read more

I was super excited to see Kong Dog in the food court because most Korean style corn dog places are in NYC! I ordered the Original Kong Dog with half mozzarella and half beef and per the cashier's recommendation, I agreed to get a little bit of sugar on it. The order didn't take very long to make and I think they just pop the kong dog into the microwave oven to cook. The kong dog looked great! It was eating it that was disappointing. The outside shell was a bit tough. The mozzarella cheese was only slightly melted and didn't have the stringy gooey effect. The beef was like a typical hot dog. I ended up eating everything part by part because of the tough shell. It wasn't as good as Two Hands in the city and I'm not sure I would come back. If I do, it would be to try the Potato Kong Dog. I always loved going to Flushing, Queens to get these tasty dogs but i was very excited to try one more local. It is located on the second floor, food court of Hicksville's Broadway Mall. You have many seating options since it is right in the food court. This place did not disappoint! It is very clean, tasty and inexpensive. They do have a self kiosk or a cashier for you to order food. They have many options of k-dog flavors and many drink options including bubble tea! read more

Wow, I am almost 50 years old, and I've never had such deplorable, disrespectful service in my life. I would advise you to turn and run from this . My hungry 9 year-old and I waited 15 minutes for our $30 bowl of ramen, when there was no line. We ordered two "sides" of dumplings. Our small container came with 3 soggy dumplings in the soup, when the menu seemed to present them as sides. The "two" "sides" of dumplings came as one side, in the soup, for $30. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me no one was on site and that there as no way to speak to them. On a weekend? Then she said she could issue a refund if I gave my items back, but she had to call the manager to issue it. The manager that was just said to be not available? I waited an additional 10 minutes, just to have her reverse her position and said that she couldn't do the refund, and gave me no path to speak to a manager. Again, wow, cheating a person out of a side, that was poorly described in the first place, and then wasting their time with the false promise of a refund that never came. read more

We were curious to try this new addition to the food court, next to the movie theater inside the Broadway Mall. There are 10 kinds of corndogs, including the type of fillings inside - such as whole beef sausage, whole mozzarella cheese, half beef/half cheese, whole chicken sausage, and even whole plant-based sausage!!! They also serve Bubble tea drinks - Brown sugar bubble milk tea and strawberry matcha boba are worth trying! Iced Ube Latte is another drink to try!!! It's refreshing to see something like this in Long Island, where you see most places like these in the city or in Queens. Staff are accomedating, service is professional, and their food station/stand is clean. ***Remember - you'll save too if you order the combo instead of ordering just the corndog!!! I love this place so much, I love corn dogs already but Korean corn dogs hit different. It's a cute little place in my favorite mall ever (Broadway commons) which is amazing in its own regard, but the service is always super fast and consistent. My only gripe I've ever had is that the strawberry matcha boba tasted a bit like a scented candle if that makes sense? But it might've been the combo of the matcha and tapioca pearls, either way when I got a different drink I believe it was a fruit tea it was awesome. Could've just been my personal tastebuds but I'm very glad that I gave the drinks another try. I can't wait to go back and get more corn dogs read more
