Meatballs

Went with friends for reverse happy hour on a Saturday night and it was not busy at all, probably because the games were on. The vibe is cute and chill and the staff were friendly. A few friends got sushi, we shared the meatballs, and I got the chicken fried rice. All of us really enjoyed what we got. I also got a margarita and it tasted great. I would definitely return!

First time here came for Happy hour, Sat at bar which is full bar. I love me a good bar top. I cannot complain. The food was delicious and my sangria was exceptional I highly recommend. The bartender & the servers were very attentive. Nice looking spot will return !! Nice Ambiance.

Happy hour was good, they had some good food and drink specials. Our server was great inside was clean. I just didn't think one egg roll was worth nine dollars. That's a little pricey.

I came in around 9PM and sat at the bar. The bartenders were busy and took several minute sit greet me. After given menus, bartenders were attentive and kind. I ordered the 1/4 cheeseburger and Big Kona (Hawaiian draft beer) off the Happy Hour menu. I am dairy free and asked for no cheese and no bun, sub lettuce. The food was served hot and came out quickly. There were plenty of people here enjoying the all day happy hour. Great prices for the food! Will definitely be back to try more happy hour foods!

This salad was $27. $21 for basically lettuce, I had to pay extra $7 for the shrimp. Lol absolutely crazy.

The tiniest portions! Soo expensive!!! Horrible music, appetizer of heated edamame took half an hour to get to us. Waitress was nice but we just couldn't believe the prices. One sushi roll was $24 not big nothing special. Will never be back.

Happy hour definitely fell off here!!!! Almost $50 for my meal and had 3 "food" options these two included.

Would not recommend coming here. Everytime I come here it's something different.... Service is horrible, food tastes so much different and smaller sizes. I would rate 0 stars if I could

We have been trying different happy hours in our city to discover if we want to try the rest of the menu. Using the happy hour as a tasting menu. Unfortunately, we had high hopes for this place but it fell very short. The pic my wife took makes it look great but the flavors were not there in the end and left us wanting more. The chicken bbq flatbread on the happy hour were 4 mini piece. The chicken friend rice was such a small bowl and the chicken looked weird and strange in the portion we got that we found ourselves eating around them and leaving those pieces untouched. The $6 burger and fries were the best deal but you really couldn't tell there was meat in the burger because the patty was pretty smashed. The star was the fries, the only thing we enjoyed during our time here. We also couldn't understand the name of the place. We thought it would be more island themed/ Hawaiian ? But the menu did not share that thought.

We raided the happy hour menu and enjoyed everything! Would forego the potstickers next time - not impressed, but all in, a great time

Went to Kona to take advantage of their happy hour menu and had great time! My group ordered one of about half the HH menu: 3, 6 and 9$ apps expecting fast food quality letdowns for the price and that wasn't the case at all. It was pretty good! Would I pay full price for any of the apps we received, probably not bcs they're a little pricey on the regular menu, but for 3, 6, 9$ we were pretty pleased. The service was good also, atmosphere was fun, and if you're not expecting Michelin star quality food for under $10 you won't be disappointed. Our whole bill was $75 including drinks. Bonus: their skinny margarita is a real skinny margarita, no sweet-n-sour or "margarita mix", or splash of club soda to water it down like some places do. That alone is worth coming back for, imo. Not a happy hour drink but worth it.

I went to the new stand alone Kona Grill location for lunch with a coworker. Great Power Lunch options for $19. It's a lot of food, two lighter eaters could split and it would be plenty of good. Power Lunch is a pre fixe menu with 3 courses. I started with the Miso soup and it was one of the Miso soups I have had. For second course I ordered the potstickers. It was a generous portion and taste was great. For main dishes I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and my coworker ordered the cheese burger, both dishes were tasty and a generous size.

A bowl of cooked carrots

The service was great , however the floors & tables extremely sticky ! The drinking glasses were distrustingly dirty ,, I ordered the shrimp & chicken lettuce wraps (which are my favorite) but thank the lord I like carrots because that's literally all that was in my bowl & two three pieces of chicken and shrimp ... very unsatisfied with this new Kona grill location ! Go to NORTH STAR Location instead !

Food came out slow. Bartender was distracted by manager and other coworkers. Overall bad service especially when there is no customers.

Seating is plentiful. Is it worth it? Yes. Go early. Before they sell out. This is Texas BBQ. You see their smokers while waiting in line. All wood fired. All honest quality bbq. This is what I come to Texas for. My craving for true Q has been satiated for today. Thank you

Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon around 4 pm and there's a line. I found myself about 10 parties…read moreaway from the steps onto the porch. It took about 35-40 minutes to get to the door and another 10-15 inside. Service wise, all the servers were friendly. The main reason why the line take me so long is each order is customized. You can order by piece (1 or 2 ribs, 1 or 2 slices of brisket, etc) and it's weighed or you can order by pound. If you get pork ribs, try not to get the last piece...there's no meat on it and you're essentially paying for the bone. You'll order from 3 different stations (sides, dessert then meats) I opted to skip the sides to focus on trying the different meats and a dessert. The dessert was the mistake. I got the banana foster by staff recommendation. It didn't have any chunks of banana and too much cinnamon. But the worst thing is getting sick from it. I'd probably come back to try the beef ribs and sides next time I'm in the area. The brisket was one of the best I've ever had. It was tender juicy and not too fat. The pork ribs were very tender except for the end piece which was a little dry. The sausage was OK, nothing special. The two flavors of BBQ sauce (sweet and original) were different but okay.

All three servers were attentive, kind, and helpful. We received water and coffee refills without asking. ALL AMERICAN We exerperienced this meal two different days. The potatoes are deliciously seasoned and crispy yet soft and fluffy. Hard boiled eggs were prepared perfectly and arrived hot. The chicken sausages were sweet and savory. The preserve was divine, well bodied, and high quality. The wheat and sourdough toasts were toasted just right where they were crisp and soft. TEXAS WAFFLE Worth a try! Crisp, fluffy, and perfectly texture and flavored waffle. Great size for sharing. The berries topped with were fresh. The fresh whipped cream was creamy and thick and refreshing. STEEL CUT OATMEAL This is a large portion and great for 2-3 people. The oats were cooked tender with the right amount of water content. The bananas and blueberries were fresh and ripe. The toasted coconut was browned well, flavorful, and crisp. The honey and hemp seeds(?) Were a great addition. FRUIT CUP All fruit were ripe and fresh: honeydew, cantaloupe, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, pineapple. Crispy Chicken Wings Elected guajillo buffalo flavor. Great amount of heat and tang. Well-rounded flavor compared to a simple buffalo flavor. Accouterments in clouded fresh celery and Picasa. Smoky ranch was flavorful, not too rich, and a smooth consistency. Q Burger Elected a medium cooked burger. Very delicious, juicy, flavorful and balanced. All ingredients complimented each other. A burger lover would really enjoy this burger. AMBIANCE Very high ceiling. Open, fresh space. Surrounding sound was relaxing with the indoor river flowing next to the Q Kitchen. Cool climate control. Gentle country music low enough to hear and have a quiet conversation. Lights are lowered during late night dining.

We stayed at the Hyatt for four nights and had breakfast here each day, so we got to try a ton!…read moreAlso, the atrium area of the hotel where Q kitchen is located is strikingly beautiful. Favorite item was the Alamo huevos rancheros. This was a rare treat to enjoy a dish with brisket, cheese, and salsa without some kind of heartburn afterwards. But this was lighter than expected and tasted amazing! Other dishes we tried: Egg white frittata: very good and a nice touch that it is served in a skillet! Texas waffle: was one of the best waffles either of us has had in a long time Blueberry pancakes: very good. I really enjoyed the stewed blueberry Chilaquiles: this we felt was the only miss. Didn't like that it was prepared with tortilla chips instead of fried tortillas Steak and eggs: ask for extra chimichurri sauce and maybe add some extra salt. Once you do that, this dish is fantastic Avocado toast: this definitely needs smoked salmon or other protein. Otherwise it isn't very substantial. I had it with smoked salmon and it really hit the spot. The service was polite and attentive. We're excited to return for our next visit

I didn't need extra fat from avocado after the corn cakes since it doesn't add much flavor to the dish. The corn cakes are good and I will order again but not as good as some other cornbread. It came with 2 cakes. One was undercooked and one has a crispy crust. The undercooked one was my favorite. It is more moist with soft in the middle. Tuna Al Pastor has a kick but nothing special. Tres Leches was beautiful. 4/5. I like the fresh fruits to cut down the sweetness. The cake was a bit in the dense side. The icing on top was thick. I wish it was a fluffy whip cream to cut down from all the sweetness. Overall it's still a better tres leches than other places in the area.
