This is our go to for delicious Thai food. We have been going to this restaurant for years and they always deliver!! Great food, exceptional service and great ambiance! My wife's favorite is the Emerald Salmon. Guys, if you like Salmon, you have to try this ever so carefully prepared meal. THE SAUCE!!! Rich with a subtle complexity that will have you ordering this again. I had one of my favorites, the Golden Curry with pork. THE SAUCE!! We've ordered plenty of other dishes, same result, exquisitely delicious meals! The cucumber martini is a must try too. We ended our meal with some homemade ice cream that also hit the spot. Try it once and you'll put this spot on rotation!

I received an anniversary offer from @thaitopaz. The offer is buy one, get an equal or lesser value off. We went there for dinner this week. I had the MargariThai and Hubby had the Blue Moon. Dad had the Egg Drop Soup. We all shared Teriyaki Wings. Hubby had the Spicy Mango Delight with shrimp. Dad had the Mango Delight with tofu without the spicyness. I ate from both their dishes. Loved everything! We ended the meal with Homemade Coconut Ice Cream!
First of all, this place smells AMAZING when you walk in. Such a great scent to bring you into the mood for the food. And it's a cute setup in there, a nice date night place. I really liked my pad Thai, I got spice level 3 (should have gotten 4) but it was awesome. Not too saucy, but with great flavor. And holy cow - $12.50 for a giant portion of pad Thai and a soup or salad. I got the salad and it was wonderful too! I will be back. That being said, my wife didn't love her pad see ew as much as I had hoped...she was the broccoli was good, but it was otherwise too salty and not seasoned/spiced enough.
It's been a long time since sitting at a table with a cloth tablecloth. It really gives that upscale feel to this restaurant. For the lunch choices you get the choice of soup or salad. Both were flavorful. The soup is mainly cabbage but the broth had a lot of flavor. The salad was a basic garden salad but the ginger dressing tasted refreshing. The spicy basil fried rice didn't have as much of the bold flavor that I was expecting. However, the Pad Thai was very good. It wasn't made too sweet like sometimes happens which makes me weary of ordering it. You do pick your choice of 1-10 spice level. The server was friendly and efficient.
I totally love going here. The pineapple rice is simply delicious and the presentation is on point! The service is always great and the ambiance is so relaxing. It's also great for groups, so make sure to book your next work dinner ahead of time to make sure there is enough room to accommodate your party. I will definitely be back!
Came here for lunch, the lunch special was so fulfilling. It was flavorful & so good! The app salad was crunchy and tasty! The server was quick and so sweet. The place was small and cute music was great!
Thai Topaz 7.20.24 4/100 We celebrated our anniversary with a lunch reservation to use our reward that David sends us every year (thanks so much :-) Pam took our orders and was friendly and attentive. She brought me my Jasmine tea and chopsticks right away. We had Veggie Spring Rolls to share, the Emerald Salmon and the Mixed Vegetables. Both of these are our favorites. Just bursting with flavor and very good portions for lunch. Our son likes the children's Chicken Bowl meal and Hibiscus tea. We finished our meal with Mango ice cream to share, creamy and delicious. Thai food here is a delight! We love celebrating our birthdays and anniversaries here. The restaurant is always sparkling clean and bright with natural light coming in from the big windows. Decided to try out the To Good To Go app to try some newer (to me) spots in the area. I did two surprise bags. First, I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by an amazingly sweet woman who immediately asked if I was there for To Good To Go pickup and rushed into telling me how lucky I was because I was getting the house specialty Pineapple Fried Rice. Ma'am, with all do respect, your excitement was infectious, but you made my day by saying pineapple. I didn't need anything aside from chopsticks after that point. The pineapple fried rice I received was vegetarian, so the protein was cashews. There was also broccoli and raisins in it, which made it feel like a fusion of Asian fried rice and Middle Eastern fried rice. Next time, I'd probably get it Thai hot with chicken instead, but do not miss this: There WILL be a next time. My second surprise bag had the best summer rolls I've had in SATX to date, which is saying a lot since that's a must order item for me at all Thai places. Most places have dried out wrappers that make it apparent it's on the way out, but these were very obviously fresh. Served with the clear peanut sauce, rather than the creamy peanut sauce. Perfectly light and delicious pairing and I'm definitely going back just to order a dozen more of these! I also received egg drop soup that had good flavor, but I'm just not an egg drop person. Personally, I'm not used to ordering Thai food below Thai hot, so it just wasn't for me. I can see that helping a sick child get nutrients and feel better, but it's a no from me. I need some Thai hot curry next time! Great food, cute shop, solid parking (even some assigned spots right out front). I'll be back another day to give more of the menu a shot. So glad the To Good To Go app put this on my radar.

Enjoyed a relaxing lunch at Thai Topaz. Started with cup of vegetable soup. The cup is so small it doesn't have much broth, just veggies. The Panang curry with chicken had a kick at spice level 3. I've always wanted to try mango sticky rice. The warm rice is drizzled with coconut milk and ripe slices of mango. I wanted to get reward points for my visit. I was confused when I tried to login with my phone number but the system didn't recognize it. I tried logging in with my email ,still no luck. I ended up creating a new account. I mentioned to the server that I know I had points from my previous visits. Then she mentioned that the restaurant switched to a different platform, cartq.com. read more
Delicious food! Crab rangoon was delicious and green curry very coconut flavor with herbs. My friend got the salmon and it was amazing. Overall it was a nice dining experience. Tbe fried banana with coconut ice cream was soooo good!! The waitress was extremely nice, sweet and helpful. The ambiance was family oriented and casual. read more

Great food and service! We got the crab Rangoons, drink flight and Jack Daniel's Custard. For my entree I had the pad Thai with chicken and my boyfriend had the mango delight. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The host and our server were super friendly. Cute little spot, not many seats so it makes for a cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back! read more

Not big into Thai but that is what our out of town guests requested for dinner so after stopping at the other Thai restaurant across the way who had nowhere to seat our party together we made it here. We were able to sit in a private area enclosed by curtains. According to our guests this wasn't authentic Thai, but instead Americanized. Since I'm not a big Thai enthusiast I couldn't tell you why they said that. I had the Golden curry. I ordered it at a 4, heat level, 1-5 is the spice level or you can order Thai Hot, the most spicy. It was tolerable, probably could have done 5 just fine. There was a sweet undertone I didn't care for which threw off the spiciness. read more

Sad to see they charged a 10% gratuity for a take out order that was picked up at the front counter in the store. Seems like the tipping culture is getting a bit out of hand at many places. The food was average here, especially considering the high entree prices of $15+. Summer rolls were a bit hard to eat because of the texture. Other entrees were just ok. When picking up the food, the inside was clean and quiet. read more

Ok, I spoke with Liz the manager and the owner about this situation and I STILL don't understand. To start this off, I called the order in and asked for the combo pad Thai and panang curry with chicken. The order taker said they don't have a combo pad Thai but could add whichever meat is requested. Sure! She didn't disclaim how much it would be and asked which meats we wanted. I asked for chicken, shrimp and beef. (I could swear they've done it before here) Anyhow, my order would be ready in 20 minutes so I sent my husband to get it. The order taker gives my husband the food bag and proceeds to charge him $53.21. FOR TWO ORDERS!? He told her no, take it off. He wasn't going to pay $30 for a pad Thai! (Who would!?) She said she couldn't take it off and he said yes you can, I don't accept the food nor the price of it. I called when he came back with just my order because he showed me the receipt. First off, there are VARYING prices for the pad Thai. $12.50-$13.00 per the website/Door Dash and $15.00 on Favor. We looked closer and the charge was $16.00 for pad Thai, $3.00 for chicken, $3.00 for beef and $6.00 for shrimp. NOT TO MENTION 10% gratuity! How? Make it make sense!!!! In speaking with Liz/owner they could not tell me why there was gratuity nor could they explain the massive up charges. They said this "you asked for the pad Thai with all the meats, that's what you were charged for." That's meat ala carte prices!!!! Ridiculous! They stuck firm to never offering a combo, to which we will not return there again. We are all about supporting local and small businesses, but this is bush league! My panang curry was delicious but menu transparency and pricing ruined it for us. Word to this establishment: match your receipt and menu pricing across the board! If it says $12.50 on your website, your receipt should reflect that - not $16.00! read more

We went here to celebrate my birthday and it was the best decision I've ever made. I love Thai food and this was the best Thai food I've had in a long time! I guess you can say this is now my favorite spot. We had our own private room and it was an experience for my family. Even my grandparents that have never had Thai food loved it! The Bubble tea was delicious and tasted fresh. I had the red curry and it was the best curry I've had since this one place in LA from 2019. Also the spring rolls took me back to my childhood and the pad Thai was delicious and the green curry! I wish I took more pics of the food and private room but I was just so happy to experience everything. Jasmine, our waitress was so wonderful to us and the owner David even came to greet us and ask for feedback on our dining experience. He was so nice and I even received a mango sticky rice to take home for my birthday dessert. I will definitely be back. Everything, from the food to the service was incredible! I made a reservation for 6 as I had family coming into town and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to try out a new-to-me place. Thai Topaz did not disappoint! We were warmly greeted and immediately shown to our table in a little room off to the side. It was such a nice area and had a private feel to it. The ambiance was enjoyable and noise level fairly quiet so it was nice to have an easy conversation without having to talk over loud music. We ordered several dishes family style including the shrimp pad Thai and panang chicken curry. Everything was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning! read more

Delicious and authentic Thai food. Clean restaurant. Good service. We love to support local restaurants. They have the absolute best Fried Spring Rolls. It was delicious. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps are an appetizer but definitely it's such a generous serving it can be an entire meal. I have had both Beef and Chicken Panang Curry. I like the Chicken best. For dessert they have homemade Coconut Ice Cream. It was delicious- very rich and 3 scoops so definitely share. read more
