Cold, cold, and not up to Bham standards for me.

Canned corn on a cold sweet potato taco, chick sandwich ok, salad the best. The Taco though, I do not recommend, may have cooked the tortilla, sweet potato, the Tacos.

San Juan salad and Cubano sandwich!! AMAZING

John makes the best food and the vibe at the place is one of a kind! Trivia nights. Karaoke nights. A must try in town.

Kombucha A+. Food A+. They had 4 kombucha's rotating that day. The Gold was probably my favorite. It had an undertone of ginger flavor that was not too overpowering, and there was not a pungent flavor like how some kombuchas are. For food I had the soup of the day which was red pepper at the time. Super tasty, and a great little snack if that is what you're in the mood for. The salmon costini was probably my absolute favorite though! Such a simple dish but so delicious at the same time. Also the presentation boards that most of the food is served on is such a great touch to having something unique about the cafe. Although we were too full by happy hour, all the tacos coming through looked so good! I sat at the bar next to where the waiters pick up food to be served and I think that was the only think i saw for a solid hour were tacos being made. Definitely something to try next time. Other than food, customer service was also fantastic. My first kombucha was a very flat, so the bar tender was kind enough to switch out the keg for a fresh batch. Also everyone was super friendly and attended to you very well. Ambience is great! It's a perfect place if you need to study with a drink during the day. Not that I experience night life, but apparently it's also supposed to be a great place to start a night right. Definitely somewhere to come back to!!

Love the Kombucha Town kombucha! Especially the Cascadian Hop. Citrusy and refreshing. Culture Cafe has a small menu of tasty accompaniments to nosh while you enjoy your beverage. Near the Downtown Farmers Market which is open on Saturday's from 1100-3p. Culture Cafe is a relaxing stop after an afternoon perusing local produce and gifts.

The portions for sandwiches have shrunk significantly and the choices! They no longer have my favourite grilled salmon sandwiches and the new ones are quite skimpy.... not does it include the sides :( too bad as I loved this place! The food is still tasty but not the value anymore and actually expensive now where regular $6 sandwiches elsewhere will cost $12 and not full you up!

So many great options- the ahi poke and lavender kombucha are my favorites. Fun, laid back vibe with friendly staff.

I came here with my mom to enjoy a nice dinner after a long week. We walked in around 4:45 and we…read morewere the only ones there, though it soon filled up while we were there. The dining room was elegant yet cozy, with great lighting. The staff was also very friendly and our waiter was very helpful in aiding our choice. We ordered the Focaccia bread, the salmon momtadito and the tonnarelli as our entree. The focaccia was the only dissapointing item as it was very basic in my opinion, which isn't bad but just nothing exciting to write about. The appetizer, the salmon montadito, was probably my favorite item of the night. It was served on focaccia bread and drizzled with a truffle honey butter and sat upon a mascarapone yogurt. It was elegant and it was incredibly flavorful. The sweetness of the truffle honey butter was a great contrast to the salmon itself, and all melted together to make an exceptional appetizer. The tonnarelli was a pasta dish we split and was also very tasty. The pasta itself was a thicker spaghetti like pasta served with plenty of crab. It was tasty and it satisfied and I'd likely order it again as I will be back when my sister's visit. All in all, a great restaurant to spend a nice night right in the heart of Bellingham!

We came in for an early dinner so we were really able to enjoy the rustic ambience of this restaurant all by ourselves. As soon as we sat down the waitress was attentive and ready to take our order. I order the garden party off their cocktail menu. Snap pea gin, bay leaf vermouth, genepy, saline and pea shoot? I really was feeling adventurous with this one, a regrettable mistake. The first sip I thought I was drinking sea water with a touch of olive oil in it. I never send back drinks although I was close with this one, I sipped it throughout my meal. One critique I have about the cocktail menu is that every drink was over complicated with many exotic ingredients. There was nothing for someone who was looking for a simple craft cocktail. The table shared the Strawberry Panzanella, and once again I was accosted by an overwhelming salty and sour flavor. A traditional Italian salad consisting of grilled strawberry and focaccia croutons. The lemon vinaigrette dressing on this salad was salty and sour, and very overpowering. Unlike my drink we were unable to finish this one. I ordered the Roe Burger, which I had been really looking forward to trying, thankfully this one did not disappoint. Two smash burger patties that were thin, crispy, and cooked to perfection with slices of cheddar cheese on top are then placed on a bed of classic burger toppings. Tomato, pickles, and iceberg lettuce. This burger was served with crispy fries and garlic aioli. After my fist few bites my mind was beginning to change about this restaurant. We also shared the Reuben Croquettes. A super creative and unique spin on one of my personal favorite appetizers. These little fried pocket were filled with a delicious mixture of cheese and shredded corned beef. They were garnished with a small slice of pickle which was a great touch. For dessert we decided to try the hazelnut torte which was fantastic. It had a nice crisp outer layer with a soft gooey center. Lovely flavor and texture that ended our experience at Roe wonderfully. In conclusion our experience at Roe had its ups and downs but I left feeling satisfied. If you are looking for a unique culinary experience I would give this restaurant a try.

The patio can get a bit chilly, but it's worth it for the view, and they do have heaters available. I started with a salad, followed by the Keenan's burger with a garbanzo bean patty, and the soup du jour. All three were delicious. The complimentary bread served with garlic herb spread was a wonderful start--aromatic and very satisfying. The salad had a great balance of fresh vegetables and toppings. On a cold day, the soup was especially comforting. The burger itself was well prepared and flavorful. The staff was polite and attentive, though they seemed a bit overwhelmed due to a large party seated next to us. Another nice perk: there's a boardwalk and beach right next door, making it a great place for a stroll before or after your meal.

My husband loves their ball and a bat (shot with a beer) and I love the cocktails, wine selection, and they make a great Arnold palmer. I love that they have games in their sitting area of the hotel that you can take to your table- like codenames. The truffle fries are sooo good and the portion size is huge! Can't wait to come back next time we are in town!

Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. I wouldn't have thought so and thought it a bit of an odd choice. But she was right and I was wrong: it was fabulous. One of the most delicious drinks I've ever had, for my tastes. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! These were so delicious I ordered two more batches to have at home. Lovely espresso martini to end it all.

The service was nice and prompt, they were catering to my alterations and helpful with suggestions. The Brussels sprouts were crunchy and properly cooked! The chicken was a little on the drier side but still satisfying. I think separately all the food was properly cooked, but the flavors didn't really mesh well. For the area it's a little pricey but i think the view, vibe, and food elevates it above other local fare of fairhaven.
