Yuzu Honey Tea
Melinda S.

Sushi restaurants in Dallas are like Starbucks ... there's one on every corner. But what sets them apart is ambiance and fish quality. The moment you walk into Kome, the vibe is calm. I highly recommend you grab a seat at the bar -- access to watch the chefs doing their culinary magic is half the fun. Every bite was fresh! I even discovered a new drink: Yuzu Honey Tea. Sweet, citrusy, and the perfect winter drink. If you're into food that doubles as entertainment and fresh fish that makes you happy, Kome is your next stop!

Absolutely amazing again. Sat at the end of the sushi bar this time so didn't have a good view of the sushi chefs working their magic, but it is still a great small sushi place. Quick to get the food and drinks out too. The sushi here is too notch. I got the six handrolls, salmon belly nigiri, and split a volcano roll. All of the handrolls are delicious, but the salmon belly once again stole the show.

The handrolls were just like similar establishments. The side dishes and specialty pieces did stand out for me. I know they use the same ingredients as the other handroll places but for some reason the flavoring was better ‍ There was one piece that disappointed me, the crab uni butter, I guess I was expecting a nice piece of crab with some uni flavor. However, I just got a piece of oily crab...

If you're looking for a cute date spot, this is the place to go. Service was great. We had an assortment of handrolls, golden rainbow roll, and a few nigiri places. Next time, we'll definitely come back and sit by the bar to watch the chef cook everything. Drinks were also delicious!

Kome sushi and hand rolls served delicious sushi in the Dallas area. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place wasn't busy at all. We sat at the sushi bar which I highly recommend doing. You get a really personalized experience and the sushi chefs are really nice and will offer a complimentary sushi piece. The food was delicious and prices were pretty reasonable for it being sushi. I highly recommend getting whatever is in season you will get the freshest fish and will taste great. A laid back atmosphere and truly captures the art and culture of sushi in Japan.

Spider roll

A friend recommended Kome to us for months before we finally decided to go. Since our first visit, we've been back twice for a total of 3 dinners in 7 weeks. If there's room at the sushi bar, sit there! Not only is it soothing to watch the chefs at work, they're also exceptionally friendly and may even have some surprises in store for you. The miso eggplant appetizer is a must have for us every time we go. If you're a tuna lover like me, you can't go wrong with the toro, hamachi, or bluefin in any version - but the hand rolls are amazing. Check out the specials while you're there and opt for sashimi or nigiri to really enjoy the flavor of the fish. There are some sushi roll options as well, including cooked for those who don't prefer or cannot consume raw fish. I liked the Golden Rainbow roll a lot. The spider roll is good as well. On our last visit we found out there's been a change of ownership/management. So far, no change to staff. Hopefully that doesn't mean sweeping changes to what's already a consistently great experience.

Oh my goodness i dont even know where to begin. Just know we literally did a day trip from orlando to dallas just to have found our TOP place to go back over and over again. Originally we went to dallas for the day to eat at another handroll place but it did not hit like it used to due to changes in ownership. So we had to come back for dinner and this place was beyond exceptional! All of the staffs were super attentive! They seem like family here. Our personal fav staff was Soma and she was the sweetest korean auntie. You can tell they love their customers and treat everyone like family. Now to talk about the food. You cannot go wrong but our favs were definitely the yellowtail pear and the scallop fois gras. Pro tip is ask them to torch the scallop alittle more for the crunch and youll taste the flavor better. Everything just compliments each other. Our salmon from the ponzu was super fatty so that was a plus. Now the handrolls doesnt have the crunch sadly but i like that they cut in halves so we can each try. We got 6 hanrolls and really love the snow crab, spicy tuna and lobster. There were just so much flavorrr!! Ah im obsessed. Soma was super kind and even let us try their homemade salty toffee ice cream.UGH SOOO SO GOOD. You can taste the just the right about of salt and toffee. Could not take Kome enough. You have truly gained your top spot in our hearts. We will definitely take a day trip back here!

This was my friends' and my first time here and it was such an amazing experience! The sushi was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A huge shoutout to Chef Jun, he was so sweet, attentive, and really made sure we were having a great time. He went above and beyond to take care of us, which made the experience even more special. Our server, Vivian, was also outstanding! She was so attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Between the amazing food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the spectacular service, I had so much fun here. I will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious sushi and top-notch service!

Don't want, RUN! This place is some of the best sushi I've had in a long time! It was like being back in Japan! The flavor was so good and very well crafted with each roll. From presentation to taste I would give this place a must go to! The service on top of that was fantastic so I can't even complain there. Get there quick cause it can fill up very very fast.

My wife and I came here for lunch and all I can say is WOW! Komé was AMAZING! Authentic, fresh high quality seafood and service! The waitress explained everything and welcomed us. The chef even gave me a few sides in his own which were absolutely delicious. If I lived closer I'd be a regular! The atmosphere was clean, nice and just 5 stars all around. I can't wait to go back!

The service was amazing. The fish was so fresh and delicious. Definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in dallas. Was not crowded and was family friendly inside as well.

Finally a delicious, fresh, authentic sushi place in Dallas! A friend took me here for dinner and kept raving about how it's one of the best sushi places in town. The cocktails are delicious, and vibrant! We ordered the lychee martinis and cucumber martini. For our entrees, we shared the volcano roll, 6 pcs handroll, spicy tuna and the scallop foie gras. The sushi was delicate, and fresh. Our waitress was fantastic as well, she kept checking up on us throughout the dinner.

I had the pleasure of dining here recently, and the quality of the nigiri and sashimi was outstanding. The fresh fish selection was top-notch, with highlights including buttery toro and rich, flavorful salmon. Every piece tasted incredibly fresh, and the attention to detail in preparation was impressive. My husband opted for the tasting menu, and it was well worth it! Each course was a carefully crafted masterpiece, showcasing the chef's skill. From the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to the perfectly balanced nigiri, every bite was a delight. Very relaxing & calm ambience. If you're a sushi lover looking for fresh, high-quality fish and an unforgettable tasting menu, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

I appreciate that their reservation site provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision (pricing, how it works, etc.). When I checked in I was offered sake but since i'm not drinking they accommodated me with sparkling green tea (which was soooo good). The wait was a bit longer than I expected. I checked in at 7:35 for my 7:45 reservation, we weren't seated until 8:10. The hostess was apologetic about the wait. The restaurant itself is in a basement and it's a typical quaint chef's experience with about 10 seats in an intimate space. I loved the decor and vibe. The staff was very friendly, they all introduced themselves and walked us through how the omakase experience worked. We had a 17 course tasting menu and I enjoyed every bite. Loved that the chefs explained every dish and gave us the origin of the fish. My favorite was the Kanpachi, but everything was delicious and tasted fresh. I had a yummy mocktail and our "spirit guide" let me try a non alcoholic champagne which I loved. After dinner we were led into Ginger's which is a speakeasy next door that I've been to a few times. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The only thing I would change is the number of seats. I felt cramped.
