I have bought cars from here and gotten new breaks and oil changes and every time has been great. Recently, they have not been able to get in the car stick that they had before, so it is worth checking to see if they have the car model you are looking for before heading over. Came in to change my breaks and they were honest and only had me replace one set of breaks. I do not know enough about cars to know if they are telling the truth, so it was refreshing to have a company not try to nickel and dime me. They are very responsive to questions and are easy to contact. Overall, they are a great place to both buy cars and have your car serviced. read more

I was expecting that I was ordering a new car with my options with the salesman. Nobody actually orders a car from the manufacturer. You get what they deliver that is similar. I ended up getting my 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid XSE model in soul red about 49 weeks later. The car was over 6,000 more than my original motor vehicle contract and came with a few options I didn't want yet didn't come with most of the options I actually wanted. After I got the car I decided to add on undercoating at the dealership. It came back with two dents in the driver's door and the hood was scratched entirely. Several weeks past and they scheduled to have this taken care of. It still has scratches on the hood and the two dents were removed. I will not go back to have the hood addressed. I worry that they would just damage something else. Everything was deceptive from the start. I liked the salesman and he did what he could. The dealership is going through ownership change and I can sense the frustration. My mother ordered the same car at the same time and she ended up accepting a different vehicle after 9 months at 87 years old because of the extended wait time. I wanted add ons like dash cameras and such but I can't go back to this dealership after this experience except for the first two years of routine maintenance that I'm hoping to have done at a different dealership because of this experience. I feel bad for the staff at this dealership going through changes and I suspect that this is why these problems are happening. I hope the dealership understands that they should appreciate those who have been loyal and keep them happy. read more

I took my vehicle to their service department for a multipoint inspection and an oil change. I discovered they had overfilled my oil by 1.8 quarts when I got the next oil change and the tech at Valvoline reported the engine had 9.5 quarts of oil in the engine (they extracted the oil before putting new oil in). That's almost 25% more oil than the recommended level. My vehicle is now compromised. An overfill of this magnitude can cause oil aeration, excessive crankcase pressure, seal damage, and potential long-term harm to the turbochargers and hybrid components. read more

Their sales team is good, but I don't recommend their service department. Brand new truck, but they didn't know what to fix even though they called me to schedule service when they got the diagnostic codes. Truck sat for 13 days before they looked at it. Brand new truck should be under warranty, but they are giving me a bill over $1,000 to fix a "broken wire." Shared my experience with a letter to service manager, and nobody will talk to me. I'm hoping to get my truck back sometime soon, before they charge me for more "broken wires." Watch out for these guys!! read more

Yeah no. Who cares about the actually cars, the customer service was terrible. For context, came in with 10 minutes to closing. Emailed back a forth, had a little bit of a plan; walk in, introduce, talk about the car, and leave. Walked in, two guys looked up, down at their watches and walked away. Also kept saying "5 minutes" in my face. Just trying to do some business and all they cared about was closing. Couldn't not recommend this place more. read more

Went here for service work on 8/25/21: I move to Appleton in 2003. Since the. I have gotten 3 vehicles from this dealership. I do all my service work there. I have never had a problem and that have always treated me right. I watch for salsa and deals a lot and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicle. I have a lot of friends that have gotten work done here or got a new/used vehicle and they like this place a lot as well. On my new Toyota RAV4 I had to get a computer replaced for the navigation. And the sound system. It would always freeze up and restart. The dealership and Toyota stand behind their warranty Until the next review, -Yelp-Steve-O, out! read more

I have too say that my van I bought from Kolosso was the worse purchase in my entire life of buying vehicles. When I first went to get the van I was told that a fuel injector needed to be replaced. They told me the van would be fine I questioned the purchase but they said it was all taken care of. One week later another fuel injector went out.. It was an hour drive to Kolosso so I was not too happy, they fixed it. The van worked good for another 5 months then the Engine failed. Had to take a personal loan out for a used Engine and a Wheel sensor at the same time. Now 6 months in I put over 8k into the van. Not happy. Over the next 2 years I replaced the axel, front shocks, and alternator. I keep up with my vehicles maintenance weekly too avoid issues, the dealer when asked about the engine told me their is nothing the could do, then said GOOD LUCK. Not happy. Now 3 years later the transmission went, 8k to replace that, overall I paid 14k for the van and 21k too fix it up since I put so much money into it. My mother bought a car from them 6 months ago and within the first month had to put 1k into the car for a stability track. Honest review of Kolosso read more

Dropped my car off for a 9:30am appointment. Was told it wouldn't be a long service. I called in the afternoon and was told they hadn't gotten to it yet. I asked for more information as to when it would be handled and was told that's all they could say. It would probably be the next day. Well we are on day four and they won't give me any information. It's just to have a key fob redone. I'm guessing they never ordered the replacement fob and are just lying. Either way it's incredibly bad service to hold someone's car for four days and not tell them way is going on. This is why they are always a last resort for me. read more

I was interested in getting a hybrid rav 4 , so I put an online inquiry without a phone number. Robin rose in sales contacted me via e mail , sent me vehicles that were in route to the dealership. I finally called to select one , sold my truck to car max , and stopped at Kolosso to demo a hybrid rav 4, left a down payment to secure the vehicle. Was updated as to when it would arrive. They called when it arrived, I went down the next morning to pick up the rav4. Was a low pressure experience. I highly recommend the dealership & Robin, having worked in auto sales . read more

We we're extremely impressed with everyone we interacted with at Kolosso Toyota in Appleton, and we feel we were dealt with honestly and fairly when we bought our new Camry. Joshua Aufdenkamp was our salesperson. He was very well informed, relaxed, personable, and low key. Just a nice guy. No pressure at all, and we felt that he wasn't just helping us to find any car, but the exact car we needed. He even recommended against a higher priced option that I asked about but clearly didn't need. He was right, and we appreciated his honesty. Anyone looking for an excellent car buying experience (and an excellent car) should give Kolosso Toyota a call, and ask for Joshua. read more

Kolosso Toyota - Car Dealers Near Me - Appleton, Wisconsin

I've taken my car there for a couple different issues in the 10 months we've lived in the area. They seem pretty straightforward and honest about prices. They're expensive, but you should know that going in, they have a huge building to pay for ;-) My service tech even had the mechanic come over and "talk shop" with me about my car issues so I could ask questions, I REALLY liked that and don't get why that can't happen more. read more

Had an excellent car buying experience. This I s a family owned dealership and it shows. The sale staff was friendly and welcoming. Our sales professional Michelle N. got us all the information we needed and was very helpful in the sales process. This dealership avoided the adversarial experience it often is when buying a new truck. Thanks for the efforts and the great experience. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Worst sales team manager. Worst service team. How do you add oil that is not needed and fill over the full line on the dip stick? Incredibly true and they would not reimburse. They charge over $25 for a $2 bulb that takes 2 minutes to replace. Can't make this stuff up! Stay away from here. If you do buy from here, you are not doing your homework. Less expensive vehicles else where!! read more

I love the service center. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I never have felt like they were trying to oversell me anything. the waiting room is so comfortable and roomy. I couldn't be happier with the service center. read more

Don't waste your time. There is not a Toyota dealer where we live so we stopped at Kolosso when we were in Appleton for other errands. They said that we aren't "local" so they couldn't show or sell us a vehicle. Central Wi is not exactly over run with Toyota dealers. Toyota lost our business today. read more

Best ever dealership especially Jeramy, my family (husband. Adult son, adult daughter and myself ) have all gotten new jeeps since 2019. all have been easy quick and straight forward, honest and no pressure. Kolosso Toyota - Used Chevy Malibu from Kolosso - Car Dealers Near Me - Appleton, Wisconsin

We purchased a 2016 Tundra from Kolosso. We paid for taxes and plates for Michigan. Plates never showed up and the truck was ticketed for lack of plates. When we contacted Kolosso about what happened we found out they knew two weeks early that not enough money was sent by them to Michigan. When asked why they didn't contact us when they found out it was apparent they didn't care. When we called back to ask about them paying for the ticket Brenda Kolosso (we assume related or is the owner) just hung up. Been driving Toyotas for ten plus years if this is the best Toyota can do for dealers must be time to switch. Sorry for those people in Appleton who have to deal with them. Total lack of service after the sale. "We got your money go to.........." read more

Worst customer service ever, will NEVER RETURN! Employees pass you from one person to another not wanting to do their jobs. Had an oil change and smart door latch reprogrammed, heard excuses about the door programming - didn't have time, didn't have people, employees at lunch(11AM!). I was told when making appointment my service was no problem. I finally left frustrated, I will go to another Toyota dealership for my service and warranty work. read more

Every employee we encountered was polite and friendly, and the service department made us feel welcomed and cared for when we needed a repair before heading back to our home state. Also, I would pay extra for repairs here just for the use of their kids' playroom (a glass-front room with a door that can be shut to keep in noise). It was worth its weight in gold when we had an hour's wait and had our preschooler with us. read more

This is hands down the best Toyota I have ever been to. As my boyfriend and I were driving 2,000 miles to see my grandmothers after the COVID ban my check engine light went on. We stop at Midas and they don't have the time but they check the codes, they say it's drivable, we fuel up and the car no longer starts. Long story short we got it to Green Bay and the Green Bay Toyota couldn't get us in till a week out and couldn't make the time to check it out. So we called you guys. And I am so glad that we did. You guys were incredible and helped me that day, and after about 30 min and only 11$ it was fixed. You guys reminded me that all it takes is a little bit of kindness and time. Thank you to the team at Kolasso, you made it possible to see my 94 year old grandmas. I promise I will stop "plowing snow" in my RAV 4. read more

We showed up with no knowledge of Toyota and the wonderful features. By the end of the day with Robert Parsons made us feel completely comfortable and we left with a brand new vehicle. They sent us home with a 2 wheel drive RAV4 when we had always only discussed and test drove the All wheel drive. When we went back to complete the financing paperwork, the car they pulled off of the lot looked exactly like the one we had test drove and discussed, but it was not AWD. Once we noticed their mistake we called and instead of helping us they tried getting even more money out of us by having us trade it in for far below what we paid and then pay even more for the All Wheel Drive which we had negotiated in the first place. Whether it was an intentional mistake or not, it was awful and deceptive. read more

We took our Toyota Sequoia in for the recalls an service. We also told to look if there was a electric problem in the right door. The tech call an said there was a problem with the air conditioner had a leak an that was the problem an can fix it for $1,500.00, We told the tech there was no problem with the AC. He told me that was the problem so we told him to go ahead with the fix. 2 days after we had the AC fixed there was more smoke in the right door again. Called the tech an said could you get me in to fix the problem an said he didn't have an opening for 7 days. So we took the Sequoia in at 7:30 in the morning for our appointment an the tech came over to us an was very rude an said he fixed it an then got the manager an he was even ruder. So we left an went to another shop they found the electric problem was in the power window motor an they replaced it an no more problem with our Sequoia is running great. No thanks to Kolosso rude service department read more

I recently leased a new Rav4 from this place. Matt rocks! I spent two days combing through what I wanted, how I could afford it, and how I was going to get it home to Minneapolis. I love my new car, and I feel incredibly relieved to have such an amazing support team that helped make it happen for me. read more

From the day I bought the used vehicle I had problems with it. The next day after purchase the check engine light went on. After many phone calls and service visits they finally fixed the problem then tried to charge me for it, even though it was under warranty. Problems with the brakes, I had them look at it right after I bought it and they said the brakes were new and needed to broken in. I had a mechanic friend look at it and the rotors were shot. One year after owning it I had many problems with it starting. Battery, starter, recall notices. Toyota certified my %ss. I traded that p.o.s. in and will never visit there again. read more

Terrible service department! Drove in and was completely ignored for 15 minutes, by all 6 guys standing there. Watched as a man greeted 2 others who arrived after me. I was blackmailed by Kolosso! I purchased a Ram 1500 and took it on our first adventure, 4 days later, to find our windows would not go up when we reached our destination. I called to discuss the issue and they asked why we didn't try the windows during the test drive, which we did. The problem was intermittent. After lots of bs, Kolosso said they would replace the power modular($700), even though it wasn't part of our warranty, if I wrote a good review online about them. This is the kicker, the review had to be approved by Mr Kolosso before they would do the work. Believe me, I struggled with this!! This went against all my morals, but I didn't have the $700 after spending $15,000 on the sale. They also argued about giving us a floor mat that was missing. Really?! They were cocky and rude! I wished I had read reviews before purchasing there. Never again will I purchase from them!! They are crooks! One star is too much for them! read more
