Wait, isn't this a Bergstrom?? Anywho, Worst experience ever this past November 2024. So I was told I had to take my 2018 Acura TLX here for all maintenance. . So I started to go here for everything starting June 2021. I should have known, but each time there was something they F'd up! It was until this past Nov 2024, I scheduled appt for recalls to be addressed. Two times they cancelled because they apparently have 1 guy do work on my car. Because the mechanic was sick one one and on vacation the other time. So fast forward they finally could get me in to do 3 recalls. Mind you a good year had passed since Acura told me about the recalls. They refused to work on the recalls. So 11/08/24 at 11am I drop my car off for the 3 recalls, auto engine shut off malfunctioning, differential fluid change, oil change, and inspection with brakes, and get a quote on the passenger side door damage. Once I get in there the guy is wanting me to sign this paperwork for a loaner. Which ok, I get it there a lot to be done. He tells me talk to you in a few days. I said ok sounds good. I don't hear a thing for 2 WEEKS!! I finally call, and they say whoever I need to talk to is busy that they'll call me back. A hour later I get a TEXT not a call saying the holdup is this and that. It might be next Weds. At this point I say ok. Ok, so Nov. 27th I go pick my car up. I have to pay $390 for the stuff they did and they tell me they put the wrong differential fluid in. Omg. So they knock off $100. I'm on my way home and I can hear a humming sound in back and a clank in front. Next day I call because it was 7pm and they closed. But I call and leave a message and never get a call back. Come to find out my stabilizer bar is broken. And when a different mechanic goes to fix it he sees the nuts and bolts on my calipers are missing!!!!!! They removed them for whatever reason and never put them back together. My mechanic says I'm lucky because if the calipers would come apart at 75mph on the hwy I may of been in big trouble. I call and text the number they text me at and still to this day not a reply!! Oh and they keep my garage door opener!!! I'm never going here again and I hope you don't either. I included pics of it all. read more

Get everything your sales person says in writing, they will say anything you want to hear to force a sale and beg you for a ten on the survey that comes out afterwards but not hold up their end of the bargain. Bergstrom should be embarrassed by how terrible their current BMW staff is operating. I had to get BMW involved to correct the situation. Save yourself and take the short drive to Milwaukee if you want a new BMW. read more

How do you screw up an oil change? Take it to Enterprise/Bergstrom! I Arrived 15 minutes early for my service appointment, an oil change and a car wash, service advisor said it should be about 1 hour. After 2 hours I asked what the status is? In a curt manner the service advisor said "we are not an express oil change shop" fine about how much longer? About 30+ minutes later I inquired about status again? Service advisor said "let me check" about 15 minutes later he came out and asked if I wanted the car washed? He said that would take an additional 45 minutes. This, after waiting almost 3 hours and the car was supposed to be washed already. I declined the wash and wanted to settle up and leave, when I went to pay i attempted to use my credit card, he said "I don't have a terminal on my desk, it's easier for us if you pay with your phone." Well, that's nice but I'm not set up for that. Finally, we got everything sorted out, you would think he could have just sent me to the cashier to process the payment or something other than tell me what is easiest for him. In the end no car wash ridiculous amount of wasted time for a simple oil change and condescending lack of customer service. This is my second and last time in dealing with Enterprise/Bergstrom, first time was worse but at least they provided an excuse as the service advisor was brand new. The pleading for a 5-star review on the follow up survey was pathetic, even that person was cheeky and condescending. Never take your car there, terrible service is a good day for them! read more

I bought a Corvette from this dealership. First of all someone from the dealership took it home overnight for 50 mile joy drive. I purchased the paint protection plan. I was told any paint chips/door dings would be covered. I now have a small door ding/chip in the paint. I'm told the plan will not cover this. For the past 25 years I've bought all my cars from Bergstrom. Never ever again will I purchase a car from Bergstrom. read more

Our car broke down wayyyyy up in the northwoods and Enterprise Motorcars (a division of Bergstrom) was the closest place (at a whopping 3 hours away) that was able to work on a BMW. Because our car is under warranty, Enterprise sent someone 3 hours north to Eagle River to pick up the car on a flatbed at 9pm! They must have gotten back to Appleton at midnight! The car was fixed and ready the next morning!! They even offered us a loaner car to drive around locally if we were waiting for our car to be done. Long story short, we don't live anywhere near Appleton and didn't buy our car there but Enterprise Motorcars went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us out when we were REALLY up the creek without a paddle! read more

This review is for Bergstrom Enterprise Motorcars' service department. We brought our 25 yr old 325i (literally sitting in a garage for 25 years, last serviced 8 yrs ago) to Bergstrom with instructions to give the car a thorough inspection, and replace/repair anything that was necessary or recommended. I'm not sure what happened, maybe the technicians/service advisors were not up to speed with E30 BMWs, but when we got the car back we were shocked to see that the only work that was done on the car were things that we specifically told them to look at. For example, they were told to inspect the brakes, so they just ended up replacing the pads and rotors, despite the fact that I personally inspected the brakes beforehand and the pads/rotors were in perfect working order. We asked if they thought the timing belt should be changed. They said "no, the timing belt looks fine, plus there haven't been any miles put on since it was replaced" (8 yrs ago). First of all, you cannot simply look at a timing belt and see if it needs to be replaced. Second, BMW's service manual recommends that the timing belt be changed every 6 years, as confirmed by numerous trusted sources and common sense. The timing belt is a critical part to a motor. If you don't know, when a timing belt fails, you will likely cause catastrophic damage to your internal engine components, which means a rebuild/lots of money spent. Why they didn't recommend that this be replaced, I really have no idea. In the end, they did end up changing the timing belt, but only at my insistence. Several electrical issues that they charged us to repair were not actually fixed. They also charged a couple hundred dollars for a "complete vehicle detailing service". Guess what I saw in plain sight in the exterior cabin air intake? A huge rodent's nest complete with a mouse's skeleton. I didn't even need to remove/open anything up to see the nest. Hmm.. maybe that's why the entire interior and HVAC system reeked of urine/etc.? You'd think if they charged for a "complete vehicle" detail they would have noticed a huge mouse's nest in plain sight, but I guess not? In the end, they charged over $4000 for unnecessary/incomplete work. However, I'm not so upset about what they charged for what they did, I'm more disgusted at what they did not do (full comprehensive inspection, with honest recommendations). Also, since their point of contact for this project was our elderly grandmother, I can't help but think that they simply took advantage of her, doing only the lazy/easy work that's the most profitable for their service department. This is the last time I'll ever trust Bergstrom (or any BMW dealership's service department) to take care of our special extremely low mileage E30. I found a great BMW specialist independent shop that I can actually trust to complete Bergstrom's lazy work, and they're doing it for less money. If this is what I can expect from BMW's service in general, I'll be sure to go with Audi or Mercedes Benz for my next car purchase instead. Let me start off by saying this was the MOST pleasant car buying experience I have ever had! I'm from Chicago and own my own small automotive repair facility and have worked at a Cadillac dealership prior to owning my own business, so I know how dealerships function. I recently travel to Indiana with my friend to purchase his vehicle just to make sure it's in good working order, then made my purchase on another vehicle for myself at Continental Audi of Naperville for an Audi S4, and finally found this place for a white Audi Q5 for my girlfriend. Out of all 3 recent transaction this was beyond impressive. Jim McDowell our salesman was extremely patience and nice, despite the fact that we drove into a Benz/BMW dealership in a 2000 Honda Civic. No one there looked at us differently or treat us differently. Sales transaction was smooth and quick, we knew how much we want to spend and they met that without going back and forth with the haggling game. They even stayed late after they close to finish our transaction without showing any signs of frustration. I have to say if we didn't live so far, I would purchase every single one of my future vehicle from here. If anyone is from Chicago reading this, avoid Continental Audi of Naperville at all cost. I took my brother's old 99 Acura CL for trade in as a junk car, which I knew was junk already, but the salesman was extremely rude and just kept talking down about the car. No matter how new,old, good or bad condition, or brand of a vehicle, it's still someone's source of transportation and a person should not be judged by it. read more

I have purchased a lot of automobiles in my lifetime, but no experience has been more favorable than the two transactions with Jim McDowell at Enterprise Mercedes and Enterprise BMW. The prices were competitive, both on the autos purchased and the autos traded. Because each was a special order vehicle, some time elapsed between entering into the transactions and delivery of the vehicles. In each case the transaction was exactly as expected, with no surprises. I am convinced Jim would do whatever he reasonably could to ensure customer satisfaction. Of course that's easier to effect when the organization of which you are a part operates with integrity. The Enterprise/Bergstrom organizations clearly abide by high principles. So, I finally ordered my 2013 X3 xDrive 28i yesterday. Yayyy!! Delivery in 3-4 weeks Vermillion Red - Nevada Oyster Leather - Fineline Wave Wood trim - Aluminum Roof Rails Premium Pkg - Tech. Pkg - Convenience Pkg - Cold Weather I Pkg Bill Scaff & Ron Hayes - You guys Rock!!! Bill was the first person who greeted us when we were test driving the vehicles on our list. Before Test Drive, Bill took the time explaining all featurs in and out and let us take the vehicle out for a spin. After test driving 2012 X3 2.8, he suggested that we might be better off waiting a few months as 2013 X3 2.8 is in Production. and will hit the store sin Apr/2012. Nice! After test driving the competition (RX350, Q5 & Murrano) we were convinced that the new Bimmer is our style. However, I still wanted to test drive the new Engine (fortunately the 3-, 5- series have the new N20 engine) and Bill was happily able to accommodate us in for a test drive. I comparison shopped before asking Bill for the Selling Price & I got about 6% off MSRP after getting quotes from various dealerships. Bill & Ron Hayes (We met Ron for Pricing appointment as Bill was out that evening) were able to match the best Offer & included the Doc. fee in it as well. They were most courteous, accommodating, very spontaneous and transparent. They didn't even push me for Financing from BMW or Bergstrom. Even so, they suggested some CUs which had lower Rates than their Dealership. Extremely Professional & knowledgeable. All the other staff as extremely nice & courteous as well. Anyone looking to buy a BMW/MERCS vehicle in WI region - I would definitely recommend Bill & Ron @Bergstrom, Appleton. Having moved from the East Coast (Washington DC) to Wisconsin I thought my BMW would be in good hands at Bergstrom Enterprise, unfortunately the level of service was does not compare. For a typical service they never offered a loaner, or a car rental, they do offer to drive you somewhere. At BMW of Fairfax I would check in and they would hand me the keys to a rental for the day. When it came to the actual service their staff was great they could explain everything quite well, unfortunately I usually left and would have other issues arise related to the original issue within a few days. Fast forward a few years and I purchased a Mercedes Benz I had some issues with the a/c I brought it and had them look over the vehicle, and was charged over $100 for them to tell me they did not know what was wrong... I believe they really try hard to be good at what they do, and they are probably better than the Buick or Mazda dealerships, but when you compare them to luxury dealerships in competitive marketplaces they just do not compare. So if you are from the Fox Valley and have never purchased a luxury car you may think they do a good job. If you already purchased a luxury car from a luxury dealership in a competitive market do not expect to be impressed or even happy with the type of "saturn" service you will receive. read more

After being cordially greeted by my Service Advisor I sat in the recently updated showroom waiting area with WiFi, Starbucks, cookies, cable TV, new cars, etc. The time went by quickly and soon I was back on the road with my car, cleaned inside and out. Great service with Megan and John. Buying a car was a nightmare for the first time in about 20 years. "Certified car" was less than desirable when I expected closer. Seats had scarring. Scratches all over the place. Waited 1.5 to 2 hours for closing appointment. Still don't have new tabs(plates), title, etc after 5 weeks. Not very responsive after they make the sale. Won't buy from them again or refer them. I didn't expect this after buying about 10 cars from them. Lots of sales reps gone. Service though has always been great. read more

This is a pretty good place to buy cars which is lucky because it's the only Bmw and Mercedes dealer north of Milwaukee. I live in the UP of Michigan and I've been buying cars from enterprise motorcar for 5 years. This place is really nice because they don't try to talk you into one brand of car over another. It's a destination dealership so you can pick whatever you want. I drove BMWs for a long time and last time I traded in they gave me a screaming deal on a Mercedes so I took it, which was two years ago. Today I took delivery of my new Mercedes which I upgraded to because of a very attractive lease promotion. I went to Appleton yesterday, picked out the car I wanted, and today Sam the salesman I purchased the car from drove the new car to my house in Michigan, filled out the paperwork with me, and drove my trade back to the dealership an hour and a half away. To top it all off he personally waxed the front of the car for me before driving it up here so the bugs will be easier to remove. I'd really like to give this place 6 stars but yelp wont let me. Their service department is pretty good too. As long as you book far enough in advance there are usually loaner cars available and they do good work. Expensive cars are as you might imagine expensive to fix when they need work and they have more stuff to break on them than cheap cars. That's life when you drive a Mercedes or a BMW or an Audi, especially one that's out of warranty. The old saying don't buy stuff you can't afford rings true. However, if you catch the promotions enterprise has on wear and tear items like tires and brakes the cost of having them do the work is surprisingly reasonable considering that the repairs will be done with oem parts by mechanics who are properly trained to fix the cars enterprise sells, even the weird ones most shops wouldn't want to touch. read more

I am a first time car buyer , I'm a young truck driver of African descent , my car interest was in a Mercedes C43 AMG I travel a lot and don't have time to stop and browse I spend my time online coming up with looks and specs for the vehicle I walked in and the front desk young lady was very welcoming , she assured me to a salesman by the name of Jim McDowell , when talking to him he was very impatient , but I proceeded to go outside to ask questions , he was just giving me anything o wanted to hear and wasn't accurate at all , I told him I would like to go for a small test drive , he hesitated and said we try not to do test drives of these unless you willing to buy , I look at him and said well how would I know for sure what I really want if I don't experience it , I told him can I drive he said unless you willing to buy I said but sit I'm not ready yet , so I switched it up after him saying we don't test drive this vehicle I told him " YOU DRIVE IT !" So I can get a feel he paused and said okay !(smh) I was in shocked because he was willing to drive three miles with 109 miles on the dash so clearly ppl test drove it without buying , and I was asking questions he had no answers to and he also had a attitude along with impatience, I came there for a Mercedes been a experience leaving less confident I never felt so low in my life and that's with all honesty he asked me did I need anything after the drive I said nothing n proceeded to the front desk he stopped in the manager office as he seen me at the service desk as if he knew what was going on ,. Man I went to the jaguar dealer next to it and I drove the f type v8 woth 550 hp woth 165 go more than the c43 n was treated like a customer smh I don't understand I felt stereotyped read more

We bought a 2012 Nissan Frontier pick-up from Bergstrom Enterprise. After 27,000 miles the clutch and flywheel disintegrated. A $1,400 repair brought no help from Bergstrom in getting coverage from Nissan under the 36,000 drive train warranty. We asked them to order the parts and we were never called to have them installed and Matthew, the service advisor, never returned our calls. We took it to an independent garage for repairs and the comment by the mechanic was, "i can't believe this isn't covered under warranty. A clutch should last 100,000 miles. read more
