My daughter and I got hooked on to Acai bowls recently so this place was on my radar for awhile…read moresince I knew that they have Acai bowls on their menu. Managed to get to this place over the weekend. Having tried this place I think we've tried pretty much every spot on the North Shore now that serves Acai bowls. This was a pretty good one. A good combination of ingredients in the bowl. Not too big a serving, but not too small a serving either. Super tasty! The bowl actually looked a bit on the small side to me when I got it. After eating it though, I felt more than sufficently filled. My daughter got the Berry Bliss Acai while I got the 'Ohana Luv Acai. My bowl had some kind of bright blue sauce on it. Wish I'd asked what made it blue. We both ordered drinks as well. My daughter had the 5 Moons Chai and I had the Healer. Whoa...they are quite heavy handed with using ginger in their drinks. I enjoyed my drink but I think there was too much ginger for my daughter's taste. It was like the kind of ginger drink that I sometimes boil at home when one of us gets sick and we need something to soothe our sore throat. Recommend the Acai Bowl. I'd be wary of the warm tonic drinks. Great if you like ginger! Uggghh, they took away free parking on Lonsdale Ave.! I had to park a bit further off just to find a one hour free parking spot.

It was almost impossible to not get one of everything! After a long travel day, my hubby and I got off the Seabus and walked straight up the road to Buddha-Full. Here's what our 1st visit looked like: * Bohemian Soul Bowl (excellent) * Wild At Heart Bowl (so good I got this again the next day after tackling the Grouse Grind!) * Be Green Smoothie (refreshing, fresh, loved that it had spirulina) * Raw Cinnamon Roll (had to try it, was like cinnamon cookie dough) As mentioned, we came back the next day after hiking Grouse Grind, hitting the spot again in the best way! 2nd visit was all about: * Wild at Heart Bowl (again!) * Coastal Vibes Bowl (another winner) * The Grind smoothie (in honor of just completing Grouse Grind) * Soul Starter (warm tonic with loads of health properties) * Tiramisu (because it was my husband's birthday that day!) The staff here was very friendly both visits, and we can't wait to come back the next time we're in town! Big thank you to the lady (possible one of the owners or managers) who noticed we were overcharged for one of the items and corrected it while we were enjoying our meal. Thanks so much!

Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 4/5…read moreFood: 4/5 I came to this Persian cafe with my family on a weekend after dinner and it was busy! Their menu is extensive and features lots of shakes (both Persian and non-Persian flavours) along with traditional Persian ice cream and some other goodies. I opted for the most sour thing on the menu which was the "Majoon Torsh" and has a bunch of different things inside including pomegranate slush, sour fruit leather (lavashak) and sour berries and it was delicious! Definitely lived up to the sour promise and hit the spot. The owner is really nice and will take the time to explain all the different flavours to you if it's your first time. My only downsides would be the price (the drink I had was $16.99 before tax and tip so definitely a pricy treat) along with the limited seating. A fun place to try if you're in North Van!

I visited here after Dinner. What I got - Akbar Mashti ice cream with pistachio flake topping. Akbar Mashti ice cream is Perisian ice cream its saffron, rose water and pistachio flavor. Yes, I can taste saffron, rose water flavor and this really matched with pistachio flake topping. I can also taste some spice, but, not sure what that was. It was a great spice which good with this ice cream. Overall, I really love this dessert. They offer expanded menu and can't wait to visit for other item!

Ambiance and Decor I visited this café and sandwich shop on…read morea Friday afternoon during the lunch rush. It's a small, homey place with simple décor. The lighting isn't the best, as the staff mostly rely on the large entrance window for natural light. Service Quality The staff was kind and friendly. They are more than happy to help you choose a sandwich if it's your first time. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Menu Variety Their sandwich selection is excellent, and the bread is particularly noteworthy. They also offer a couple of iced tea options, which is a nice alternative to water. Food Presentation If you're dining in, your sandwich will be served in a plastic basket lined with wax paper. For takeout, it's wrapped in the same wax paper. Food Taste and Quality I ordered the Spicy Italian, which had just the right amount of heat. It was generously loaded with greens, and the multigrain bread was fresh, likely baked that morning. Portion Sizes The portions are substantial. I was only able to finish half of my sandwich for lunch. Price and Value The sandwich cost about $15, which is on the pricier side. It would have been nice to see it priced around $12. Overall Experience and Recommendation If you're in the area or heading to Horseshoe Bay to catch a ferry, definitely stop by S'wich for a sandwich. I will definitely be returning to try other options on the menu.
