Fast forward to yesterday, my two girlfriends and I are in shopping, trying to cheer up one of us who recently had breast cancer surgery. One of us spent over $200, in front of the owner, and gave the bag to the other and said, "Happy Cancer." In reciprocation, friend with cancer bought two mugs that said, "Kindness." Again, gave them out, in front of owner, and thanked us. We left, and right outside the shop, while looking for car keys, one of us dropped mug and it broke. Owner refused to give a new mug. One of us went in and asked again, and owner said no. Bad business, right? Another goes in, and owner relented, with tears in her eyes, saying she can't absorb the lost. What about the loss of 3 customers? Owner then hands cash and I said, "Maybe this kindness will come back to you. Thank you." And she said, "I have long ago given up on that happening." I got home, and realized the mugs were $36 and she only gave back $28. Something is very off here. Never again.

I purchased a timberland belt for $17.99. My mother brought a three items and she was given a $10 discount on each item and she paid a total of $114.97 for three items. Overall, I'm assuming the prices are fair because they are cheaper than what you would purchase them for at the actual store that they come from. I saw items from stores like Lululemon, American Eagle, UGG, and Bloomingdale's. I feel like you could find some cute items here you just have to take the time to actually look through the racks. As for the sizing I felt like I saw a lot of smaller sizes. I saw some large sizes but not many XL. Also, I don't recall seeing any plus sizes.

The floor in that section was noticeably dirty, and there was a damp smell in the air, which made me uncomfortable enough to move on quickly. The other side of the store was much better and had most of the clothing. They have a men's section and a women's section, along with racks labeled for certain brands. Some racks weren't labeled at all, so you really have to take your time and look through everything individually to find pieces that stand out to you. Toward the back of the women's side, there's a shoe area, plus a children's section, lingerie, and hosiery. There's definitely a lot to browse through if you're in the mood to hunt for deals. I ended up finding a T‑shirt, a top, some trouser socks, and a couple of men's ties. I didn't see a large amount that I personally wanted to purchase, but there were a few decent finds. The store attendant -- possibly the manager -- was extremely pleasant and gracious. They offered me 10% off my total since it was my first visit, which I really appreciated. Would I return? Possibly, but more for a few small pieces rather than a full shopping trip. It's the kind of store where you might find a gem if you're willing to sort through a lot of inventory.

I showed up on time for my appointment and was greeted by a very aggressive sales associate who told me that they did not have any dresses in the color I needed in my size and that because it was the end of the season they could not order anything for me. Let me say, I am a misses size 16. So not sure if that was a play here but she proceeded to show me one or two awful dresses she might be able to get. She told me she would get dresses in January for the next season. When I asked if she would still be able to get them by my daughter's April wedding I was told it depended on the gown and she wouldn't know until then.Well, that's not reassuring!! I was pretty much turned away. Complete waste of time. It is fall/holiday season! You would think they would have a selection of gowns for the holiday season, especially in dark green.... But nope! Had to return to the store 3 times for alterations and my son, who is getting married in about 2 weeks, and purchased his tux, doesn't have anything to wear since they had to reorder his pants from overseas because they got the measurements wrong and the pants are not even here yet.
