Unfortunately i have had a very bad experience. They shipped me the wrong shirt and promised to send me a UPS Return and credit back the price of the shirt. Despite numerous unreturned phone calls and emails i have received neither. The great in-store experience is not matched by the non-existent customer service. I have wasted way too much time trying to do the right thing and have been forced to contact the credit card company and dispute the charge. read more

We came in less than an hour before closing with my fiancés wedding suit that did not fit two weeks before our wedding. Richard went above and beyond to help us fix the suit (that we purchased at another location) and made us feel so much better. They are able to get the suit back to us in a week, and there are pretty major alterations that need to get done. The owner Richard was EXTREMELY rude on the phone to my boyfriend. He called about a pair of pants that we tried on today for a wedding. They didn't fit when he first went in March and now we went back for a second fitting and they did not "let out the seat" like they said they had to do. He then proceeded to tell my boyfriend on the phone that he gained too much weight ("gained some lbs".) He then decided to throw me in the mix and say "even your gf said you gained weight" not realizing that he was on speaker. I heard all that he said and I defended myself. He was so rude, disrespectful and belittling. He then wanted to charge him another $275 for another pair of pants instead of fixing the job that they fucked up on. We will not be giving this place another dime of our money. How does an owner say that to a customer and expect us to give them business?? You're out of your mind. read more

I have never wrote a negative review on a social media platform like this, but I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Onore in Sparta. My fiancé ordered a custom suit from this shop with specific details including a black and red rose/skull lining, to match our wedding theme for our destination wedding in Tulum. However, our excitement turned to frustration when the suit arrived almost two weeks late and it had a completely different, mismatched purple bandana lining, which was not what we had ordered. Despite the owner's "promise" to rectify the mistake, when we returned to pick up the suit again, the lining had not been changed as he promised. Good thing we asked to look at the lining before bringing it home as he attempted to just hand it to me and not even acknowledge that he didn't change it. When I once again addressed it, we were met with excuses and a complete lack of accountability. The owner then said he could put in the skull lining after our wedding, which was unacceptable given the suit's intended purpose. He could not understand why I was so upset. What disappointed us the most was the owner's dismissive attitude. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of care and empathy, especially when dealing with something as important as a custom wedding suit for a once in a lifetime event. The owner then (once again) said the lining would be in before we left for Mexico, even promising to "priority mail" it. I asked multiple times for proof of a tracking number, which of course I never received. After multiple unfulfilled promises to correct the mistake, the owner eventually replaced it with a basic black lining, even though we paid for the Italian skull lining up front, he still refused any refund. He failed to deliver on the original customization we had paid for in advance. Despite the significant impact this had on our wedding plans, the owner showed a complete lack of concern, and refused to offer any form of reimbursement or refund - this was a decently expensive suit so you would think the owner would be willing to reimburse something as it was not what we ordered. Instead, he said "no one sees the lining," I said that does not matter it was of importance to our wedding theme, if we didn't care about the lining, we wouldn't have ordered a custom suit. I asked for a partial refund which he denied even though this isn't the suit we ordered. We paid for the suit in full up front when we ordered it as they are a local business so we trusted them. I feel compelled to share this experience to caution others who may be considering Onore for a custom suit, especially for an important event. And if you do use them, DO NOT pay for the whole thing up front prior to seeing the finished product. The owner's disregard for customer satisfaction and unjustified threats on suing me for slander (which he cannot do as this is a 100% accurate description of what happened) if I posted my experience have only added to the disappointment of this entire ordeal. Honestly, I would have never posted something like this on a social media platform if the owner was just a little reasonable in his attempt to make right on his major error, instead he refused absolutely any discount or refund. Basically told us too bad and wished us the best with our wedding. I love supporting small businesses in Sparta but this one I'll forever pass on. read more

Great upscale shop in the Sparta White Deer Plaza by Lake Mohawk. New York City and international styles but great small town customer service and experience. We needed some custom suits and such on short notice to be shipped out of town. The Onore team was helpful, fun and prompt. The shipping and a lot of little extras were free. Saves you a trip to NYC with the same experience, if not BETTER. I hope they do well, a great addition to the area as many of the stores are not as high end. On the other hand, they are able to provide discounts or items in a wide variety of price ranges if you can't or don't want to go for the high end. read more

About one month ago I was in Sparta for a wedding when I realized that I had accidentally packed a french cuff shirt, but had forgotten the cuff-links. Frazzled, I did a quick search for men's clothing in the area and found Onore was just a half mile away. I walked in in Jeans and a t-shirt, but the staff didn't treat me like that -- in fact the owner came out and was very warm and courteous. They immediately offered water/tea/coffee which I accepted and then showed me their cuff-link selection. At this point I was impressed, so I decided to pick out a nice tie as well. I left the store thoroughly impressed by the fact that the staff didn't write me off for appearing unshaven and disheveled, but what truly blew me away is what happened about two weeks later. Sitting at home in New York City I got a hand written letter that thanked me for coming in, thanked me for my business and wished me a good wedding. I walked into Onore just to "check it out" when, lo and behold, I discovered that a fine men's clothing shop has come to the Lake Mohawk Plaza in Sparta. I was greeted by Richard, the owner, a friendly and experienced gentleman, who offers a selection of high-end clothing, both off the rack and custom made. I wound up purchasing a blazer, made in Biella, Italy which is known for its excellent wool. Importantly, the alterations were included in the price and done quickly and properly.
