stopped into Kohl's today to use their "convenient" Amazon return service and had a very frustrating experience. They were apparently short-staffed, so they simply closed the Amazon returns counter and put a sign there saying it was unavailable. The problem is there were no signs at the entrance or on the windows letting customers know before walking in. I had to carry all of my return items through the entire store only to find out the service was closed once I got to the back. If a major service like Amazon returns is unavailable, customers should be informed before entering the store. This was poorly handled and a complete waste of time. Kohl's needs to do a much better job communicating with customers. read more

I shop there when I need candles - they have a great selection of quality candles. But every single time I go, weekdays or weekends, there are long, long lines at checkout with only two cashiers on. And today the cashiers also had to answer the constantly ringing phone! It's a shame, really, for one of the last remaining brick and mortar department stores to treat customers this way. read more

Services worst customer services the person there was so rude and inpatient with customers Value to expensive and they trying to force you to get a credit card or points Selection sucks read more

I like going to Kohl's but mannnn those lines are so long!! They need more cashiers. Went to Kohl's today (12/13/25) and Gaby was our cashier person. She was not a happy camper! Just rude and not helpful/very little patience. read more

Rude cashier to a military person. He asked for a discount and presented his military id. The cashier said she would not recognize it. He explained the id to her but she was not listening. It was real and correct. He was very polite and with a small child but the cashier was very rude. Can you imagine being in the service to fight for our country and protection, yet the i.d. is not accepted at Kohls for a ridiculous pittance of a discount. Kohl's is off my list. Standing behind them in line we could see and hear everything. Then being questioned to get a credit card. Will not go back. No stars for Kohls in Saugus. Kohls should issue an apology. read more

I purchase items a few days too early without a coupon. I went back to kohl's and asked if they would honor the family and friends coupon in my items previously purchased and they said absolutely. We will need to return and repurchase the items so you can get the discount. Friendly and helpful! I like this kohl's read more

I had a wonderful experience with a young woman named Darlin at the Kohl's store in Saugus Ma. She was working in the Sephora department. Darlin was very helpful ! She answered my questions with a smile and in a very professional manner. It's important to me that when I receive great customer service, I point it out . Darlin , my hope is that your great service is appreciated not only by the Kohl's company but to future customers. Thank you for making me feel comfortable with my questions and I appreciate your advice. I will definitely shop at Sephora/Kohl's again ! Thank you Darlin read more

Worst customer service! This store cashier Ellen was so rude, I actually left the store without purchasing any of the items I intend to purchase. I don't know what her issue was, if you're going to be miserable, why work in retail? Go retire rather than working and providing people with your non existent customer service, she had a whole attitude for no reason. The store wasn't even busy, there's no line. After reading some reviews, seems like this lady been miserable for quite some time, if you're shopping at this location, I would avoid her. She'll make your shopping experience unpleasant. read more

Customner service in non existent. I returned items in February, This is now April and my credit card still have not been credited. I went back to the store and I was given a phone number to call. They could not find my return number. I will never shop the Saugus store again. Poor customer service and and I am out money for items that were returned. My next step will be small claims court. read more

Picked up a couple pairs of shorts. Store layout was a bit different. Good service from checkout staff. Parking is easy in the large lot. read more

This is my favorite Kohls. The return policy alone gets 5 stars. If you get a credit card you get so many awesome coupons. The clearance racks are awesome. I do so much of my Xmas shopping here. It's so awesome to see how much money I'm saving on great quality clothing and I don't have to worry if something needs to be returned. Other stores like target are too strict. They make you feel guilty about returning something. Not Kohls. Especially this one. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. I love the women's section. Love the shoe section. Good prices. Love the home stuff. The clearance stuff is great. I have bought some bed n a begs here and they were great. Men's Dept is great. I really like the entire store. I've been to other kohls and I leave 10 min in an go to this one. I adore the Kohls cash!!!! If your looking for a good store with good quality....this is it. read more

I like this Khols. The staff is friendly and helpful. Amanda in the make up section is very helpful and knowledgeable. I feel like they have a limited selection of items here though, but overall I haven't had a bad experience. read more

Return And Exchange Policy Is Terrible And So Is Their Systems. Reached Out To Knowledgeable Store Employees And Customer Service Reps, Who Kohls Doesnt Deserve Because They Are Full Of BS. They Understood My Situation And Wanted To Help But Their System Wouldnt Allow. It's A Shame that When This Billion Dollar Company Makes A Mistake, They Cant Afford To Provide An $8 Refund. I Hate Michelle Gass, Kohls And Their Affliates. Love Their Employees, Though. Thanks. read more

You only have be of a shopping age to know that there isn't such a thing as a perfect place all the time , and Kohl's isn't any different. Yes sometimes the lines are long, yes sometimes you encounter an associate having a bad day and down right rude like i have, etc..... Overall, Kohl's of Saugus is a great place to shop and associates are nice and helpful. I was livid when I was spoken down to by a Kohl's associate one time, and when i called the store to relate my experience, the manager on duty showed empathy and i took it for face value and moved on . I will continue to shop there, and when/if I have a lousy experience I will voice my displeasure so i can help them improve. read more

VERY UPSET with my set up and meeting today. DO NOT ACCEPT kohls cash everyone, it is in NO WAY free or extra money. I returned an item that I was not happy with and because I used the coupon I got of "free cash" with it prior I ended up losing the amount through the refund. That kohls cash is a way for that company to take your cash and only give you store credit! Thanks but no thanks! And the lady at the reception desk did nothing to help the situation. Never going back again! read more

Oh, the Kohl's of my memories back home in our mutual birthplace, Wisconsin. No more! This one is understaffed to say the least, with overflowing dressing rooms (I was more than a little nervous to use one at all, given there were no staff in sight, much less any kind of attendant), and long, long, LONG checkout lines. So sad. It seems like Kohl's, Target, Marshall's, and Wal-Mart are all slowly morphing into the same blah store. read more

I am a frequent shopper of Kohls.....no more!. There is an associate there whom everyone knows. I will not mention this older woman's name, however, I know so many people have complained about her. Lazy, rude and just plain miserable. Yesterday I had the misfortune of getting her at the register again. She was very annoyed at me for putting my 30% off coupon on the counter without the bar code going in the right direction. I was flabbergasted and asked why she was so cranky. When I left I called for a manager to state how rude this assoc was and her reply "nothing I can do about it". Well there is something I can do...Hello Marshalls and Target, goodbye Kohls. It is a shame these miserable lazy people are allowed to continue to work at this Saugus location. read more

Old fashioned department store morphed into a Walmart light shopping option.

horrible! I came in to get some dress pants and more than 3/4 of the pants are on the wrong hanger so you have no idea what size they really are. There are PILES of clothes on the floor and the dressing rooms were gross. This store is a pit and I will NEVER go back. read more

Stopped in last saturday. I had to glance at the sign again...thought I was at an indoor playground. Kids running and sliding all over the place. I was looking for nothing in particular, so maybe ill go back when I really need something and update this review. read more

I never go 2 kohls & I was approved 4 a charge card there so I said why not. Well there was no one interested in assisting me. I looked at jewelry w/ a nice girl however she must of been gone by the time I was done shopping. There was also 2 women I would say more my age which is 40 that were extremely helpful. However there was 1 young girl who really offended me. I had just tried on a pair of boots I ended up buying, I had just taken them off when I saw her so I could grab her 4 a ?. I asked her if they had any nurses scrubs she said "no we don't u might want 2 go 2 work & gear" and " do u have shoes because u have to have shoes on to be in the store" when I went to stop @ the men's register to put them on she then called every1 2 the men's register. A # of young girls came w/ strange looks on there face. I caught her rolling her eyes and notioning dirty looks towards my way. If I had not spent so much time looking around because that was my 2nd time in that store I would of put it all back. I'm actually sitting in the target parking lot thinking about going back to return all. I work very hard for my money as many do & to b treated or assumed of what kind of customer I was "it was not what can I help u with " never did she use the word please. She just assumed I came into the store with no shoes and road with that. I also spent 200 dollars. When I asked about the jewelry again male @ the register says idk you'll have to ask her pointing to the girl who clearly thought I was a thief or less than. I now remember why I never shop @ kohls because of these same reasons I remember back 20 years ago. I'll never go into a kohls again @ least not that 1 & that's the closet to my house. I have had the charge card since b4 Christmas. Kohls could of had another almost 200 sale on there hands if maybe most of the sales team catered to customers instead of judging them. read more

They have quite rude customer service lady. I returned a few items and wanted to buy a few right at the customer service desk. She refused to allow me to buy it despite having nobody behind me. She never smiled, refused to give her name, and when I mentioned that I would write about her in store survey, she said that returns do not come with survey. I later called the store and spoke to a manager, who said that she should have helped me since there was nobody behind me, but generally they cannot allow buying at customer service because it is very small and the store is of outdated design to handle such service. Stay away from this store unless you have no other choice (which you do). read more

was back to school shopping for my son and was able to find a ton of stuff, except for socks, and jackets!! with fall coming and it being almost september, I'd say those items would be important to have, and have them in stock. apparently that location doesn't carry any outerwear beyond sweatshirts! read more

I love khols! Esp when there is a sales and/or coupons to go with it! Only down fall side is the line is always long...!

The women who's about 5'3 with black hair who works behind the jewelry counter is very rude. I would avoid her or work with a different associate if given the opportunity. read more

Wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. I was an employee there for 2 years and i've never worked at a company that was so rude to their employees. Management would tell the cashiers to offer customers $10 off their order if they wrote a positive review before they payed for their merchandise, most times where they made the employees take the customers phones and write the reviews theirselves. Management is also rude, when it was slow days; the supervisor (won't mention any names) would yell at us in front of customers and say "Make yourself useful, and go fold clothes". I've gotten threatened by a supervisor to lose my "position" in front of customers because i wasn't folding clothes due to the way the supervisor demanded us to. They also don't give hours for younger students in college. I worked there for 2 years and only got 1 shift a week. A 4 hour shift once a week. I asked why couldn't i get more hours and they told me "i guess you're just not friendly enough with management".Honestly kohl's and the store manager and supervisors are a joke and honestly should be evaluated, it's a poor choice for a job option. I would never recommend anyone to work here. read more

Bought something here and they forgot to take the security tag off, i head back in and the cashier says I have to go to customer service to get it off. As I type I have been sitting in the customer service line for 15 min with one lady working who has no support while all the cashiers sit up front with no customers. Not happy !!! read more

I enjoy shopping at kohls but my sister went there to buy me a gift and I was surprised when she told me how one employee was so nasty to her. This miserable woman complained that my sister only had a $100 bill and gave her a hard time. I guess she didn't have enough change in the register but hey, maybe next time they should put a sign up saying they don't service customers with $100 bills.... =/ I'm never going to that location again read more

worst place to shop they over charge and the merchandise is cheap. falls apart after one wash the sales associates are rude and think they are from tiffanys please the stuff in there is garbage. don't waist your money. read more

I have been a Kohl's shopper for years but today was my first time in the Saugus store and my last. The displays were a mess and I had trouble finding what I wanted. When I came to the checkout, the cashier was more interested in talking to her friends than acknowledging me. She did not ask about a Kohls charge, the rewards program or ask me to take the survey. I looked for a manager after checking out to voice my dissatisfaction but saw none. I will not be going back to this Kohls!! read more

Messy, messy, messy all the women's clothing in disarray, to downright dirty in the dressing room for the THIRD time in a month. And the clothes aren't cheap or good quality. I won't be back. Seriously? Loved Kohl's in Florida, this place is a disaster. read more
