First time in this location, it seems like an older store that is due for a remodel/sprucing up? OK selection (I looked in the women's clothing, pet and home sections) but nothing overwhelming, and this time of year is also a strange clothing time as it is hot outside but fall clothing is being eased in; I can't think of fall clothes when the air conditioning is blasting. Associates are more concerned with taking about their social life. 2 girls walked around the store for 45 minutes and never worked just talked. When I asked them if they ever stop talking one girl laughed and thought it was cute. I told her it wasn't cute but very annoying. Her response (with a disgusted look on her face) was...... why do you care? What's it to you? And I was then told to mind my own business. But not before being called a "Karen". I've never been treated so rudely in my life. I work in retail management and I was shocked with the behavior that was exhibited. The other women in the same area thanked me for saying something. Don't go to Marshall's on Stoneham. Rather go to the one in Saugus. Stoneham has a bunch of disrespectful girls that work there. read more

If I could give marshalls 0 stars i would. I am disabled and had to use the restroom today and there was pee all over the toilet and on the floor along with the other 2 stalls they had. Toilet paper all over the floor and in the toilets. It was absolutely disgusting. read more

No true complaints with this Marshalls! This afternoon we stopped in at this Marshalls to buy some last minute items for our nephew's baptism. This store was well stocked and clean unlike some of the other locations in the area. The only part of the store that needed some TLC was their bathroom which was a bit gross. Beyond that bathroom, we found everything we needed plus a few additional items we found on sale. Moral of the story, this is a great location with a great selection. read more

I live in Wakefield. To give you an idea of how bad this Marshalls is, I drove to Westford yesterday to shop. Staff there were helpful and knowledgeable - unlike Stoneham. I was looking for a certain kind of towel and wasn't finding it. When I mentioned it to a gal stocking merchandise, she suggested I might like some of the beach towels. Exactly what I was looking for - across the store. Never would have found them on my own. And items in Westford were from this century. Also went to Londonderry NH a few months back and that shopping experience was also better than Stoneham. NH?? Stoneham has really cut down on clothes and many are so old they're pilled. Not to mention so thin you can see through 2 layers of material. Won't buy clothes there any more. Household goods at the HomeGoods attached to Marshalls in Westford also has way better stock. Really great choices in furniture, rugs, bath, etc. They should either shut down Stoneham or do something to make it worth the trip. It's awful. read more

Because of its suburban location, this Marshalls is neither as crowded nor gross as the Downtown Crossing location. Thumbs up for that. The shoe section was recently converted to resemble a smaller DSW, which is nice since DSW by itself is annoyingly large and overpriced, and this is easier to handle. TJ Maxx and Marshall's go hand-in-hand, and if I'm looking for something in particular and don't want to splurge, I usually have to hit up both stores or more than 1 location of each. Never can I find exactly what I want when I want it, and since the quality is hit-or-miss, I can't give that last star. read more

The thing with Marshalls is that it's really hit or miss. So many of my friends hate going here because they don't have the patience to spend time looking through all of the racks for that one perfect piece! Personally, I love it. I make sure to go when I have plenty of time and usually am able to walk away with at least one or two amazing pieces at killer prices. (For example, this winter I found 2 amazing Anne Klein wool coats for $60 each that would have easily cost close to $200 each at Macy's or similar stores). Sometimes I don't find anything, and that's okay. In addition to racks and racks of clothes, they also have a decent home goods and kitchen section, which comes in handy when you want to whip together a nice gift. I've picked up a few kitchen items, a cheap cookbook or two, a fancy pan or box and made really nice gift baskets that the recipients loved! read more

I've updated the address here - it's an actual street address in Stoneham, folks. I do love this Marshall's. It's huge, always tons to look through and you usually find a good deal or 2 or 3. I know people from other towns who drive to Stoneham just for this place. It's been here forever. If you're looking for cheap decent clothes, absolutely go here. read more

So this is the infamous Marshall's that had a car drive into it a few years ago . . . wow! I can't believe I live so close to such an infamous institution. Anyway, I know I cannot judge a place by just one visit, but a few weeks ago, I visited this location of Marshall's to find some cute sweaters. I couldn't find one decent, stylish sweater in the store! That is rare for me as I am a self-proclaimed bargain hunter. I'll give it another shot in the near future and perhaps will boost my rating if I find something superb! In the meantime, I'll stay away from the windows just in case. :) read more

It's a nice store tho I think it need more supply in everything specially the home section is not a lot of variety. Clothes and shoes section are well organize, staff is always friendly, they have a good section In candles which I love that cause they have all kin, sizes and colors. This is where I go when I need a nice candle for my home but definitely need to improve their game in the house section cause even tho I leave in stoneham sometimes I rather go to the homewoods tjmax in Woburn where they have more variety. read more

This place is just a fancy Salvation Army of out of season desinger crap. As if we didn't all know this right? I do enjoy going once in awhile, usually to kill time having to wait for something equally boring. I bounced in there last night with my best friend and we had a jolly time trying to figure out wether a diaper bag would make a classy carry-on. I always see shoes that I love, but the shoe that fits me is always the one on display. Some of there items are a rip off. But I bought a lovely Hilfiger suitcase and a soft woobie, not to mention some random crap. RANDOM CRAP! I love it. Meh. read more

Always loved marshalls, great finds and designer brands are so cheap! This marshalls isn't always the tidiest like another reviewer said, but if you have enough time on your hands you can discover some great finds just by going through all the racks. I like buying my clothes here because everything is discounted and less expensive than department and clothing stores in malls. Shoe department is great. read more

I had to return a shirt that did not fit and the color (after a second thought) was not very attractive. I had taken the tags off. The lady at the return counter asked for the tags which I provided but it seemed she was not happy that i had taken them off. She kept looking at the collar, inside, outside, back and forth, which was getting me annoyed. Finally she asked me if theres anything wrong with it and I just said no. She paused again and finally after a bit of more huffing and puffing did the return. I just felt I had done something Wong or had worn the shirt for 6 month and was returning it now. Anyhow, her expression made me very uncomfortable. On a more positive note, I like this Marshalls and I often find good stuffs for really good price. read more

Really disappointed in the customer service at this marshalls. My mother and I went in recently and she was given a really hard time about returning an item (with tags attached and receipt) but then the management returned it for her. My mother continued to browse in the store and overheard two of the employees who did the return talking negatively about her and the return situation. How unprofessional. Terrible. read more

always liked this this marshalls but has gone way down hill starting with the shoe department. no clue what they are thinking but they have all junk for shoes. they used to have a great selection all nicely shown. had to go up to route 1 where they have a great shoe department. also everything picked over. too bad. used to be the place to go but not anymore. read more

Usually my spot to hit if you need a quick pair of sneakers, a decent gift or just to check out the clearance section. North Reading is pretty much the same. Good summer sandals, too. The only downside for me is that it's hard to find men's size 8 shoes. read more

One of my favorite Marshall's stores to visit! The store is always well stocked, nicely organzied and people are very nice. I was browsing in the show dept, but couldn't find my size, one of the employees offered to help & sure enough, tracked them down for me! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was just there at 10am - at a time where there were VERY few customers. The few that were in there however seemed to all be buying something at the same time. I waited in like for approximately 23 minutes to buy ONE shirt before I said screw it, put the shirt down and left. I love marshals they have great clothes and it's really a good one stop place to shop. However, I was recently in there and I asked to put something on hold at first the lady was nice and she asked me how long I would like to hold it for I said one day..... In my book one day means 24 hrs. But then she said"oh you'll come in tonight?" I said no tomorrow after work. Well then she sighed and rolled her eyes and then told me she needed to talk to her supervisor, she did and then she told me that I could hold it. Well she forgot to ask about the bag that I wanted to hold too so when she came back I told her that I wanted to hold that too. She again rolled her eyes at me, threw her hands up in the air and then she said "UGHHHHHHHHHHH" it was so rude. I work in retail and if I ever treated a customer that way my boss would immediately give me a write up. Shame on her for not doing her job. I'm very disappointed and I hope she stops treated customers like they are an inconvenience to her life. read more
