She then went to check to see if I had a points reward card. I didn't and she did not offer to sign me up for one so I could get points on the purchase I was making, which was over $200. The person I was with went to a different cashier, declined the credit card offer, and the cashier offered to sign them up for a points card. Something to keep in mind if you never shopped a Kohls bedore.

The manager on Dec. 13, 2023 told me I could put the items on…read moremy TJ Maxx credit card to get the points, using just my receipt and the credit card I used and my TJ Maxx credit card.  The cashier on Dec. 13, 2023 then told me the manager's name. I wrote it on the receipt. I came on Dec. 26, 2023 with the receipt and both cards. I stood in a line for 40 minutes. Two separate managers told me "if you don't have the items, you can't switch to another form of payment" and "we don't have a manager by that name." I even told them I couldn't get here sooner before I gave the gift because I was accompanying my wife who was in the hospital for weeks on end. They said, "That's our policy." Every other store just asks for your social security number if you don't have your card and this allows you to make a purchase with your store credit card.  I strongly recommend not shopping at TJ Maxx on Middlesex Avenue in Somerville.

So it has a special place in my heart, or it's just a bad habit acquired over the past 35 years?? Either way Northgate has evolved quite a bit since the 80's. Northgate now houses a lot of stores including 2 supermarkets, a gym, McDonalds, Taco Bell, a few anchor stores and much much more. The parking lot is extremely large with more than enough spots for everyone even on the busiest of shopping days. This is a one stop eat, bank and shop stop. Big problem lacking customer service skills especially one particular tall guy with glasses. But the lavatory at this particular Dollar Tree in Malden was the most filthy, disgusting public bathroom I've ever witnessed. Trash was overflowing from the overfilled plastic bin and spilling onto the floor. The toilet area was strewn with debris, including no less than 7 EMPTY paper towel rolls. Aside the toilet were two ominous looking black buckets - one was dirty and empty, but the other bucket was half full of slimy standing water, with trash floating in it! The sink area was equally squalid, with large stains on the walls, a rusty dripping faucet, and an empty paper towel dispenser. And this isn't a case of the store being too busy for one day and someone forgetting to restock. This type of 'dirty' is foul, grimy, and nasty - gradually accumulated from carelessness and neglect for a long time. Whomever manages this location should be ashamed for allowing the bathroom to get this trashed. And not only for allowing the public to see it, but for making Dollar Tree employees work in such a nasty environment. The final kicker? The bathroom is located at the end of the cleaning supply aisle - literally hundreds of cleaning products a few feet away from the world's most disgusting lavatory ever. Really grossed out. :(

I'll be honest, I go to Target at least a couple times a week... it's like a one stop shop for me & gets the job done. This one seemed to have more stuff I typically don't see though, which I liked! Only thing I was annoyed about was, many things required staff to come help and open. I was standing waiting for someone to come help me get pimple patches for 20 minutes LOL... made me question if I wanted them still. Eventually, someone did come.

I was trying to get some thing that was in one of the locked displays and could not find an employee at all whatsoever so I just did not get that item. I then found a tea kettle in the magnolia section where the price tag on the display was $14. I went to one of their scan price checkers and it was out of order along with two others that were not working so I decided to just get the tea kettle upon ringing it up. It was not $14 but $26. I had mentioned it to the cashier, but there was a line so I just proceeded to buy it and then I found a manager. She was extremely bothered at the fact that I brought this to her attention. She then went over to where the tea kettles were which there were at least six of them at the spot that said $14 and told me that it was incorrect, gave me a dirty look and proceeded to walk away. They should have honored the price, considering the employees did not label the pricing right or did not put them in the right spot but instead of doing that she had a nasty attitude. So not only could I not find employees on the floor scan the item to check the price then have to pay the full price even though the target employees miss labeled it and by a company policy they're supposed to honor it if they have multiple items in that labeled area and then to deal with a rude and condescending, so-called manager is very offputting. Target needs to do better with training their management team and their staff or lack their of staff. I did not get the manager's name, even though I tried asking her which again she just gave me a dirty look and walked away. (she was of Asian descent.) I most likely will not be going back to this target unless I'm going to Starbucks because they are the only people in there that are kind, do their job correctly, and are extremely considerate. They also keep the area, extremely clean and sanitary.

We take the bus after football practice and hang out. There were a couple arcade machines. Gino was there a T-shirt shop we had a ball. When we were older, we used to hang out out back chug some beers play some music on the boombox and chill. let's just wind it up real fast to modern day Mystic mall it's more like a strip mall with the anchor being Market Basket but there are some other big stores, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, GNC, etc. etc. etc. I actually go to all the stores and all the restaurants it's not the same as back in the day but it's really convenient and believe it or not the prices at all the stores are pretty decent. It's a great mall even though it's all outside now. Worry about parking extensive parking so you might have to walk up along aisle from the other side of the lot, but you'll always have a spot. Lots and lots at this mall it was actually an inside mall anyways check it out. Great place to go.

I have a great time here still , when I come shopping or eating. Today I came to visit Julio's ice cream . I had the shaved ice below it was delicious. The staff is super friendly all around the complex's in the store . You get good value for your monies . They have a big parking lot so no issues on parking .
