Even by the low standards of Target, this is an absolutely joyless shopping experience. I'll start with the good, since that list is short - the store is clean, and there appear to be staff walking the aisles regularly stocking stuff. Everything else, though, is rough. The only check-out with people is the customer service desk. Everything else is self-service. What that means is that the store isn't conducive to actually filling your cart. If you wanted to do some grocery shopping in there, it's going to be a slow process as you're either scanning things yourself or handing them over a counter to someone. Another issue is the order pickup for app/remote orders. Maybe a result of staffing levels, but the few times I've done this the staff there seemed either confused or stressed out by the process. Given the relatively small square footage, I think this Target is also trying to do too much. There are electronics but not too many. Clothing but not too much. I am just as likely to not find what I need as to find it. And the Starbucks in there has wild levels of turnover, resulting in consistent issues with orders there. Overall, a tough spot. read more

Compact size Target store that had what I was looking for. Some travel size items for my trip. The selection of travel size products was not as large as I had seen at other larger Target stores and definitely not as varied as the SuperTargets, but they did have the most basic ones. The rest of the store was well set up and very clean. The floors were spotless and the check out process was very swift. I would recommend this location if you are in the area. read more

One of the worse Target locations in the greater Boston area. There were no staff at the registers, which seemed odd when I was there on a Saturday night. There was one monitoring self-checkout and some either at returns/exchanges or stocking. Some areas, beauty/makeup in particular, are not well-stocked compared to other Targets. Selection of items overall is quite limited. Also the nearest four-way intersection is an absolute nightmare, so points deducted for that. I will only come here if absolutely necessary. read more

I went for an order pick up and stood at the order pick up desk then a white, tall, male worker with black glasses said "In the future stand in line like everyone else" when there was no line and, then walked to the return and exchange desk to ring me up. I came over from California to visit, and this Target was close to my airbnb. It is the tiniest one I've ever been to! Despite the small size, my boyfriend and I found the essentials we needed without being overwhelmed. In the four days we were there, we made about seven trips to get things and were a bit anxious we'd been visiting too frequently, but the team members were always friendly. Guest service was smooth as well, as we purchased & returned some things that turned out to be provided at our accommodation. read more

Small but adequate location .. this is my first time visiting this location... my wife and I spent about 20 minutes in the store choosing from various back to school supplies ... we went and proceeded to self- checkout because the other line/cashier was busy... we proceeded to the self check out to have an employee directly behind us, staring at our every move with both arms crossed as if he was expecting a robbery. I completely understand the role, but a greeting or maybe some attention to the others at self check out wouldn't have made the experience feel as awkward. Went in as a first-time mom just looking to get out of the house and stroll with my 3 month old. The Starbucks employees were super friendly. That's where it ended. I was followed around the store. When I asked a question about buying something missing a piece, I was talked down to and told no go get the full pack. It would be a fine answer but Asset protection was pulled to the front of the store as I left. I literally did nothing. I felt so uncomfortable, I called my husband who said he has been approached multiple times for waiting to pick up RX from this location. I guess taking a stroller into to a store and being a black man are not allowed at this location. read more

The Salem st, Medford Location is terrible. Don't shop here. There are no staff to help you. It's only self-check out so if something goes wrong you could be stuck for 30 minutes looking for someone to help you. They leave the red restocking carts everywhere so you can't pass through isles with even the small cart, and several times over the last few months there is trash all over the floor.... poorly managed. read more

Brand new Target store in Medford! This is a great addition to the neighborhood. This morning I ordered toiletries online and picked them up in store. There is plenty of parking in the new lot. Convenient location on Salem St. & the Fellsway. This brand new store is new construction it was built ground up to replace the old dingy Stop and Shop. Target has always been reliable, as well-stocked as anyone should exspect, not at all short on any items you may be looking for and their personnel are helpful in all ways. It is definitely one my favorite places to shop without worry of disappointment. I have never had any objection in any way with Target which includes being very reasonably priced in all departments. This Target is like a mini version of a normal target but it has all the essentials like groceries and everyday household items. It hasn't been that busy here lately with the covid19 everyone is staying home. Next door to this target is a fitness gym but they're closed. read more

This Target is very small compared to other Targets. They do have a little of everything, but still a very small Target in comparison to the other Target departments. I had to get a new lunch-pale that was smaller and the selection was minimal, but thank goodness that the few that were there weren't cartoons and flowers. There was actually a cool grey and mint one that was the size I was looking for. So, yay on that. Will I go back: If I need to grab something real quick and don't want to drive an extra 15mins to another Target. read more

The Starbucks here needs a lot of help and training. I was the second person in line and I've been here for a half an hour while the barista took the orders of six people behind me AND MADE TWO OF THEM before she made my two simple drinks. Ridiculous. Update- I just got home and the my caramel latte seems to just be a normal latte with caramel on top- before I said anything my friend said "oh did you get something different, this isn't the one we normally get." So I just paid almost ten dollars for two drinks that were incorrect AND wasted my time waiting unnecessarily. I so far have LOVED this Target though!! read more

Brand new Target on the Fellsway with a Starbucks inside. It's a smaller one for sure, but includes a pharmacy and market area as well as all the usual departments. Big parking lot, and also offers the option for home delivery after in-store shopping starting at $7. It has a decent selection despite the size, and there's always ship to store or home option if not. Great new addition to the area! read more

Sooo small :( a little bit of stuff in a few departments. Would've been better to have fewer departments that are fully stocked. Came in for art supplies, a few linens, and some Halloween stuff zero art supplies, no individual sheets or pillow cases and a horrible Halloween aisle. A total waste of time. read more

I have never had a problem with Target in general, let alone this specific Target. I am shocked, saddened, and surprised how the manager of this store reacted when I told him I saw one of his employees walk from the front of store to back of store, down the chip isle, not wearing a mask and looking at her phone. She went down this isle the wrong way. I am high risk and the person behind me was an elderly gentleman in his 80's. We both starred at her in shock & she heard me say really? When I was waiting in line for isle 10 register, I saw her a second time. This time she had her white mask on. She was taking her break. The manager along with the girl at the register knew who she was. His exact words to me when I told him were "... we will look into it." The awful thing is then I called Corporate for Target and instead of me getting a person, for 10 straight minutes I get offers to buy stuff to redirect my call. Really? I couldn't get a human being. I do not know her name, but I was in the store between 1:30 & 2. This is very disturbing and I will never go to this Target again. There is only one entrance and if someone is entering and another leaving, you are a foot apart. Store is very big so knowing the employee walked up and back, at a normal pace, not wearing a mask is awful. So many customers put in danger. read more
