Picking up school supplies for future donations..
Pierre B.

Small but adequate location .. this is my first time visiting this location... my wife and I spent about 20 minutes in the store choosing from various back to school supplies ... we went and proceeded to self- checkout because the other line/cashier was busy... we proceeded to the self check out to have an employee directly behind us, staring at our every move with both arms crossed as if he was expecting a robbery. I completely understand the role, but a greeting or maybe some attention to the others at self check out wouldn't have made the experience feel as awkward. During my break at my job, I walk to target almost daily and purchase items and/or grab a coffee from Starbucks and have never been monitored/watched like we were today ..

Great addition to Medford a brand new Target.

Meadow glen mall Medford Marshalls is trash. The employees are all equally rude, unprofessional,…read moreand completely dumb It usually takes at least 15 min in line when there is 4-5 registers open. They all speak to each other in a diff langue. The ones who are American look so angry, not one of them greet you with , "hi how are you" or anything close to a welcoming greeting that customer service should have. I was returning a pair of sunglasses $210, I purchased online. I read the return process on my email. All I had to do was show the barcode from my confirmation email, to make the return. The original cashier, said she would have to ask. She called the "manager" over(who had on sweatpants that were way too small, greasy hair and the most "I hate life" face. She didn't ask me or the cashier anything . She looked at the sunglasses and said "NO" and walked away. I had to explain 3more times while showing my phone that I was allowed to make the return. Finally the grub "manager" came back over and actually read my phone and just nodded her head to the cashier. I guess that meant, ok it's approved for return. The cashier did it and handed me my receipt. Not a "Thank you" "have a nice day" "sorry for the inconvenience or delay" such a shame this is now customer service

I'll be honest, I go to Target at least a couple times a week... it's like a one stop shop for me & gets the job done. This one seemed to have more stuff I typically don't see though, which I liked! Only thing I was annoyed about was, many things required staff to come help and open. I was standing waiting for someone to come help me get pimple patches for 20 minutes LOL... made me question if I wanted them still. Eventually, someone did come.

Wow, it's been quite some time since I've been to a Target. I couldn't believe what I was seeing…read more What in the dystopian-future-is-now did I walk into? So many of the products are locked up! You need to get a staff member to open a case. Who has time for that? There used to be bustling lines of people as cashiers did their thing, and now customers are shunted to self-checkout, where a worker watches you do their job. On the other hand, the food selection was impressive. That was a nice surprise. In another world, where Target counts as "going out for the day" (I'm not quite ready for retirement) and not "a place I need to stop by to pick up a few things," I could see myself coming here for staples and weekly items. But, that time is not now. The atmosphere seems sad. The workers are focused on wheeling around large gurneys of product to stock the shelves. Do I really want to bother them to point to something behind glass and ask them if I could please have it? I'm not a child. If I want something, I should be able to place it in my cart and not have to look around to find someone to ask permission to have it. I remember when Target was "the" place to go to for a variety of things. Why did they have to make it harder to shop there? Ok - just read about the $500 million "shrink" due to theft. So, I guess that's a good reason. Someone smarter than me, I'm sure, has looked at the cost of theft prevention measures vs. the cost of losing customers, and here we are.

It's a great mall even though it's all outside now. Worry about parking extensive parking so you might have to walk up along aisle from the other side of the lot, but you'll always have a spot. Lots and lots at this mall it was actually an inside mall anyways check it out. Great place to go.
