The men's section takes up about 1/4 of the store and children's section less but you can find great used jeans including Levi's and some designer brands in a big range of sizes. You can even find housewares here if you like vintage decor. I recommend this store to anyone coming from the city or out of state because it's the last vestige of the more wild and arty culture that used to thrive in Gloucester in the 70's thanks in part to the store owner himself. The place really should be a historical landmark because of how much it has improved the culture of Gloucester. The owner is known for these incredibly imaginative fashion shows that over the years have raised money for good causes like the restoration of city hall downtown. His store is like a public art piece that's totally authentic. If you are an appreciator of that then you will enjoy supporting this business.

I…read moream writing this review because Pam went above and beyond when helping me with an important framed print for my daughter Sarah's rehearsal dinner. The framed print was purchased by Sarah's future mother-in-law to display at the event. She initially asked me to do the lettering--the wedding couple's names and title--on the matte, giving me less than two weeks to complete it. (I must admit, she initially thought I could do it by hand, but I didn't feel comfortable with the task.) While searching The Tin Bucket website, I saw the beautiful work Pam could do with lettering transfers. I reached out and asked if she could possibly take on this project. With a smile on her cheery face, Pam went right to work, providing possible different lettering choices within just three days! Once the lettering was agreed upon, Pam took apart the frame only to find the matte was glued to the frame itself. This is the remarkable part, especially with the rehearsal dinner just a few days away: Pam actually bought another frame and matte herself and finished the lettering! It was all done within the needed timeframe, even with the unexpected matte issue. I cannot thank Pam enough; she was professional, delightful, and truly committed to helping me. I believe this level of service is extraordinary these days, and it is so important to know we have Pam and The Tin Bucket in our town. After going to several formal dress shops in the Peabody and Danvers area in search of a plus size…read moregown that didn't cost an arm and leg and just the glitz and glamour we were looking for. We discovered by google search this beautiful boutique. They had beautiful gowns and cocktail dresses coordinated in groups by color. One whole side of the store is dedicated to Quinceneara dresses. They have tiaras, jewelry and shoes. There were to members of staff. We were helped by Pamela. She asked is to wait on the sofa while she finished up with a client. While my friend waited she was asked if she got measured before. She didn't and she was able to do her measurements so that she can properly get fitted. We were told to view dresses we liked and to take pictures of them. She checked to see if they had them in stock in her size. Her bust were a problem in many stores we went to or they had limited styles. They had a limited selection here but the difference was the personalized experience, the one on one fitting and help getting the dresses or zipped or adjusted while you tried on a garment. The patience Pamela took with her and the time to even search her back room for anything they had in her size. We found a pale pink floral applique dress that was classy, sexy and made for her big 60th celebration. The cost was in our budget and we were so glad we didn't have to shop anymore. While I waited during each time she tried on her dresses I was able to watch a beautiful young lady try on quinceneara dresses. Each and every one was beautiful in every way and a tiara picked out for each one. I know that her experience was just as pleasant and when her family and i knew which dress was the dress the young girl came out with the biggest smile. She knew that was the one. They even had the sign "She said yes to the dress" in ode to the famous show. Our overall experience was everything. Thank you Pamela we left feeling enchanted!!!!!
