I'm not afraid of you or your threats legal action Rada. Many Yelpers have messaged me about the comment you wrote to me. Many feel it wasn't very nice to put it lightly. One Yelper even commented to me that you "slit your own throat" with replies like the one you left me. Just so we are clear "slit your own throat" is figurative NOT literal, it is a figure of speech. What was meant by that comment is that you give the unsatisfied customers more credibility because of the harsh reply, it makes you look like the bad guy. If you read Help For Business Owners, Yelp gives some practical suggestions to help Business Owners to respond to negative reviews in a tactful way that helps defuse situations such as this one, instead of being threatening. I mean I wouldn't want you to get sued in return, Yelpers are well protected by the 1st Amendment and Anti- slapp legislation. I amended my review and took out the words that offended you because I am a reasonable person. I do not wish anything bad upon you. I am just expressing my opinion, feelings and telling my experience. I hope your business continues to do well and that you learn from experiences such as the one that I had and improve the customer service you give to your con-signers. I have to say that Rada and her staff could not have been nicer. I went there to buy my wife a gift and they all worked so hard to help. They asked me a lot of questions about her and what she liked. I would not wander through a big department store any more. This store had a lot to choose from. There are many unique and high quality items, it was hard for me to choose from the things they selected. I had a good time, they are fun and very helpful group. If I had a choice to no star I would ! I was a new consigner- Dropped off items over 2.5 months ago..called to see if she has sold anything, didn't get response ! Called and send messages, attempted 4 times to get a response, nothing! Today I asked the owner, Rada , in a message to wrap everything, I'm done with her and her business ! Terrible ! Truly terrible , won't go there! To add I almost never put a bad review for any small businesses, but she has given me no choice, after 4 attempts to simply get a response " have you sold anything ? Well, I love to consign and decided to use this New Consignment since its also a boutique & in downtown Wakefield. NEVER AGAIN !!!! Honestly, doesn't know how to price high-end designer clothing. Gives you the run around about collecting your $ & items, sets up appts but not there/closed, unprofessional manner (screams, walks into the dress-room when your changing, etc). Your items could go in there completely cleaned and she'll mark them down for being stained, etc - don't forget they go missing.... When she gives you the itemizes printout- its only for only the cost she gave you for each item & NOT what she sold it for! Recommended a friend & she had the same experience!!!! This lady honestly thinks she's doing you a favor to consign your clothing, what a joke & a nightmare. There are other "PROFESSIONAL" consignment shops; which I've been with for years and no hassle ever!!! read more

I walked into the store with the intention of trying one thing on and I ended up finding a couple of beautiful pieces. When I went back to exchange an item, I met Rada and she was so helpful in styling me. It's hard to find such customer service these days and everyone was wonderful with making suggestions without making me feel pressured to buy something that wouldn't work for me. I went in because I really wanted to get a new pair of shoes for a launch party I'm attending at the end of the month. I knew what I had in mind: nothing with a huge heel high, somewhat comfy (heels aren't comfy so I had my boundaries) and nothing that I couldn't pair with other outfits, like neon colors. What did I like? That everything was organized...and that's about it. I did receive help when I first arrived at the store and told the girl what I needed. I told her I had a larger size foot (9.5-10) and she immediately balked. She told me I'd be hard pressed to find anything cute anywhere and that she could "TRY" (sarcastically she said this) to help me find something but she doubt she would. I was put off by her attitude but didn't care. I told her I saw Iron Fist shoes in the window and that might work because of other outfits I wear out with friends (a pair of the purple pumps would go great with anything). She told me they weren't my size and told me she really couldn't find anything to sell me. I thought it was rude simply because she hadn't even looked. I got no help from that girl and while I was there, it seemed like they were telling another customer who was trying to consign something that it wasn't worth the money (looked to me like a really nice leather jacket, worth at minimum $50). The woman at the counter told her it was too worn because of the color. That customer walked out and I walked out with her. If their hours weren't confusing enough, their customer service skills need a drastic improvement. Wouldn't go back again. read more

Rada Boutique is amazing. I not only consign with Rada but buy items there as well. Her pieces are unique and the shop is very modern with a European twist. Her shop is very beautiful. Rada is professional, nice and takes her time talking to you. She is passionate about clothes and her business. I've known her for a few years now and have been successful with selling my items. I stop in from time to time to chit chat with her and I'm always greeted with a big smile and a hug. However Rada's is not a consignment shop it's a boutique, there is a difference. DONE! I am always drawn into Rada by the merchandise in the windows. But Rada is a haunt! She follows you around the store. She drapes you in scarves or necklaces in an attempt to make a sale. She suggests things for you. I don't want suggestions. Most female shoppers know what they want. There are too many other great resale shops in the area. I am definitely an ex-customer! read more

I totally agree with the last review that was written. She said the same thing to me, that she would not show me the receipt that it sold for. She then had the nerve to tell me she was insulted that I would even ask her for it. Is she kidding?? What makes her think that public is going to trust her. After awhile I went back for my shoes and she told me they were legally hers and didn't have to give them to me!! I had to refrain myself from screaming at her. She then asked me if the shoes even fit me anymore and if it was worth taking them. I eventually got them after debating with her for 20 minutes. Consignment? Maybe. Boutiquey? Maybe. I found it more "wanna-be" than anything. I won't be going back.

I am saddened to have to leave a bad review for this place. I've been dying to go in and could never find the time. Well, last week undid and it was the first and last. I give the store 2 stars because yes, they have some nice things. However, I felt it to be very confusing what was consignment and what was boutique. Nothing was organized. The icing on the cake for me was how rude a sales woman was to me. She was condescending, insulting and flat out rude. When I asked another woman in the store if there was a manager I could call, she told me that was Rada. What?! As in the owner? It has taken me a week to write this review because I wanted to find the right words without being rude. There are MANY high end consignment shops in the area. The owners are all fabulous and kind. I've walked in there after a gym class and have gotten the same service as when I walk in decked out. Let me just say you have a lot of work to do with your customer service skills, Rada. And as a reminder, in the words of the famous Coco Chanel, "a woman should be two things. Classy and fabulous". read more

I will never visit this shop again - The sales person I dealt with was very unprofessional and arrogant. I will take my business elsewhere. I was actually "profiled" when I walked through the door by a young woman who said "we cannot accept anything from Sears or Kohls! i honestly cannot believe the negative reviews of this place! i was there today and was completly blown away by the customer service and items for sale!! the owner is very talkative but the sweetest person and means so well! very very very helpful by pulling all the brands i wanted to see. walked away today with 2 juicy couture hoodies for under $40!! what a steal!! some of the more high end things are pricey but theres honestly something for everyone and an EXCELLENT jewlery selection. cannot wait to go back for more!! read more
