This is a high-end children's store where you pay good money for items. I live out of state and was visiting my inlaws who live in town, so store credit is of little use to me. They have lost any future business i would have given them along with my local family's. The upside of this shop is that their selection of goods is adorable and of good quality. The prices are higher than what I like to spend for kids stuff, but they're in line with other boutique style shops and they carry high quality products. It's not somewhere I would go for an entire wardrobe but I consistently buy gifts here. But it's their customer service that really gets me. The staff here is so incredibly helpful. One staffer here not only measured shoes for me while we were on the phone to make sure I was buying the right size, but she also texted me pictures of everything they had in stock in the size I needed. Then when I couldn't find parking she ran my purchase out to the curb for me so I wouldn't have to schlep my two kids in at the height of COVID. They really go above and beyond here!

However, I wanted to look the manufacturer and took out my phone. Right when i took my phone out - before I had even unlocked it - the women managing the store came up to me and asked me what I was doing. I distractedly explained that I was just looking up the company that made the shirt and before I could think much about the question she said "So, you're not interested in purchasing it?" Before I could even respond - particularly because I was confused by the question since I WAS interested - she literally grabbed the shirt out of my hand and hung it back up. I was honestly in a state of shock and my friend, who was horrified, and I left immediately. I was most likely going to purchase that shirt and my friend and I had even talked about how we needed to come back. The experience I had today was so off-putting and surreal that I will be sure to never go back. And others should be aware.

A big, thoughtfully decorated window invites one in where you will find a divine collection of childrens' clothing, accessories, books, toys and other items bound to delight any youngster. The selection is good without being overwhelming and while more pricey than, say, Walmart or similar stores, I think you get excellent value for what you are getting. Some of the lines they carry come from England and are just adorable. And it isn't just for girls - I have got things for my now almost 2 year old nephew which were original and charming. In the back by the check out area, there is a display of some lovely jewelry, bags, and other pretty things for Mom or Grandma too. Or in my case, Auntie! I got two beautiful necklaces and some earrings on my first visit. The owner and her mother run it together and both are just delightful. I've had some excellent conversations there while checking out. Young mothers with babies are often to be found there and it is a warm and welcoming place. They often have sales and weather permitting a table of interesting items outside. Whether you are shopping for a new baby or a five year old, you will find something here that is unique, well made and just what you didn't know you were looking for. Check it out!
