What I enjoyed is the organization of their products. Makes things so much easier when shopping. It seemed that there was more items at this store from tops in my size to handbags. I found a couple of things to try on...the fitting rooms are big and having different hooks made it easier to sort the items that I wanted to take vs pass on. I ended up buying two handbags, three shirts and a pair of Nike shoes. The shoes was the best purchase because I had been eyeing the same model but just in different colors. It was hard to justify since I didn't know if the shoes were going to be comfortable. Lo and behold....they were here at Uptown. They were my size, very comfortable and it looked like they had never been worn. SCORE! Plus, they were under $50, making them almost three times less expensive than what they originally run for. Staff was friendly during our time shopping at the store. Parking was plentiful since this store is in a shopping center. I pointed out the inner seams were sewn in the opposite direction on the uneven hems that were done by the first tailor. It was quite embarrassing to point out these flaws that I paid for. Francesca and her husband assured me these issues can be fixed and made suggestions to improve the look such as an invisible hem. They measured me and every inch of those pair of pants, double checking their work. When I went to pick up the pants, I didn't try them on but Francesca told me if I was unhappy with anything to let her know, talk about customer service. I'm grateful for their service and will definitely bring in more clothes to get tailored. Once inside the customer service is far from exceptional. I am pretty convinced at this point it is an age matter. I am younger than the normal Chico's shopper. I can walk in and shop around and NO one acknowledges my existence and I never leave without finding something to purchase. I have been to shop in business attire as well as dressed down Saturday and it does not make a difference. I cannot attribute it to race either all the associates ignore. I have commented numerous times via the online survey but sadly the service does not change or improve. I have began to shop via their website instead. The service is so rude and obvious prime example I was in today and walked by three associates and NEVER greeted. Another lady walked in and two associates nearly attacked her offering assistance and greetings. But for me the treatment that sent me over was at checkout when I was in the process of starting checkout and a woman walked up with some items in hand and the cashier turned to assist her and apologized for having to finish up with me.
