What are you looking for? Belk Outlet has a lot of women's clothing at affordable prices, but the home goods department was limited and the prices in most cases weren't much of a discount. Utterly terrible customer service for the manager. The original employee tried very hard to figure out how to return the items since the items were not showing up on the barcode even though I had proof of purchase and shipping via email from Belk. I appreciated her effort. The manager informed me that it was purchased out of the 90 day policy or that I did not purchase it from Belk. I kept telling her that I had received the items last week and had proof that I had via an email delivery date. When she stated it was not from Belk, I scrolled up on the email showing her "Belk" header. She informed me because it's not from Belk because it is not in the Belk system on their computer. She said that I cannot return the items here. I had drive 3 hours (round trip) to return these items, and she did not give me further guidance as to what to do apart from saying that I cannot return the items despite having the original shipping box, the receipts, and the confirmation email of delivery. What blasphemy is this! At least provide further directions as to what the next step should be. read more

I had heard of this department store, but never been to one. I was visiting a girlfriend who lives in the area and she asked if I wanted to go shopping. Uh yea! When we arrived, we went to the girl's section as her 8 year old daughter came with us. I thought that Belk was a discounted department store so was surprised to discover the price tags reflect the regular retail price. Afterwards, we headed to the Petite's section. The apparel was tailored more towards older clientele, unlike at Macy's that has more stylish apparel. They had a clearance blowout throughout the store and I managed to snag lounge pants that was normally $40 on clearance for $12. Score. read more

Not a bad department store, but if you're from the South or familiar with the Belk's there, you'll be surprised and a bit disappointed. This store is at least half the size of your average Belk. There's only one floor here. It's located at Town Mall ( formerly Cranberry Mall), an older, struggling small town complex. It's one of the only stores there I will visit anymore. The selection is limited, but you can find great deals here, especially houseware items. Apparel is not high fashion, but there are some name brands. The shoe department is sub-par. Cosmetics is decent and is usually busy...well as busy as you can get for Town Mall. Staff is also decent, more so than nearby Boscov's where people of color are profiled/followed around. read more

The store is closed! Signs on the door say it will re open soon as ... a Belk Outlet. I spoke to a clerk at another store in the mall, and she said she thought it was going to re-open at the end of May. The 4--star rating stands - it was a great place to shop. The store was immaculate, with a great selection of housewares, clothes, and gifts/decorations. The employees were also friendly and helpful. Albeit I did notice they had started to mark things a little higher than their value - but most items were on SALE for 40% or 50% less. This was an annoying marketing ploy, but the sale price usually did make it a good deal. read more

Website and any online information shows store hours 9a-10p. Walked up at 9:30am on a Friday morning to a locked door and a gentleman pointing to a window sticker that shows "special holiday hours 10a-9p" So since it's holiday season you open later and close earlier? read more

Fantastic store with remarkable deals! Clearance sales are TRUE clearance sales. Got a great Star Wars for less then $4. Breathable sportswear sales for under $10. The staff was very personable and happy to help. read more

Lots of clearance items. Racks are spaced out. This mall doesn't seem to get busy so there are close parking spots, open dressing rooms, and short check out lines. Check online for a coupon. read more

Nvr will I order from this store again! I'm getting my earrings for my daughter after Christmas now! I ordered the earrings like on the 20th of Dec. and payed 8.50 for shipping and delivery and for what ? Lateness ? An after Christmas gift ? They never said it on their website that there were any problems with late delivery maybe after Christmas nor did I get an email . Yes the earring were only 18$ but ur timing sucks! Quit trying to run with the big dogs Belk.. if u cant get ur deliveries on time! I had all my Christmas shopping done until u screwed my delivery up! I wish to compliment Rachel Bernhard from your store in Monroe, NC. She exemplifies what an excellent employee looks like and acts. She helped us find a jacket and shirt even though she is in HR. She is wonderful and you do not pay her enough. I have owned retail stores in my career. I wanted to hire people like Rachel because they went above and beyond for the customer. While there are no Belk stores in Washington DC, I will do my best to buy from Belk whenever I can. - And it is all because of Rachel. You are lucky to have her. read more
