I stopped by the women's restroom, which is located on the upper level. The pink tiles and vanity look like the original from the 60's or 70's. It could definitely use a facelift. Lol. I then checked out the shoe dept and sunglasses and lastly social dresses. I managed to find one cute dress in petites. It was originally $70 and I got it for $40. Boscov's has a variety and large selection of merchandise, but it's hit and miss for me. I have found that the junior's section has good prices, but other areas can be fairly pricy.

We contacted Boscov's customer service and we received authorization to get a new table. The instruction booklet was incorrect, some of the holes in certain pieces of the table were not aligned, the table top was damaged and with all of that, we kept trying to put it together because we loved our first table. After completing the assembly process, we realized one of the legs was shorter than the others so the table is not balanced. Besides the frustration (and annoyance) of having a table infested with bugs, we had to put together ANOTHER table that was damaged!! The price of this table was too much to have to deal with this!! We could have gone to a discount store and potentially had a better experience! We are beyond frustrated!!! I hope their customer service team does the right thing and makes this right for us.

The order number was no where in their system and I was advised to call Target's Guest Services. I ended up making calls 3 times and did 2 chats in their app--all wasted time. I called my bank and told them Target is having a problem processing my order and please do not pay them. I was told by their customer service, my order is processing but because of some glitch in their system, it hasn't reached the store yet. Today is January 2, 2025, and now Target sends me an email basically blaming me for their problem with processing this order. I closed my account with them, removed my information and deleted the app. I want nothing further to do with Target--ever. I was a loyal customer and didn't deserve this kind of run-a-round treatment.

I have really tried to like TJ Maxx. It is not just one particular store, but all of them. The…read morestores are typically neat and structured, but the merchandise does not really appeal to me. Unlike Marshall's, I am rarely ever able to find anything in TJ Maxx. It is the rare occasion that I will stop by and find an item or two, but it is never where I find an abundance of any one thing. I have perused a number of sections from beauty to household goods and the beauty section is where I typically find good stuff. For this reason, I stopped by today because I have found that if Marshall's does not have the hair styling products that I like, it is a great chance that I will find it at TJ Maxx. Well, I went to this store yesterday looking specifically for hair products and was able to find quite a bit and the brands that I like. I walked into the store, located what I was looking for and went directly to the checkout line. I really like how structured this visit went, which was a far cry from my usual pop-ins to see if I find anything. Those visits always leave me disappointed.

And yes, this location had been closed for a very long time after a tornado damaged the building a few years back. I did my main shopping at TJ Maxx, but also shopped at HG. They are well stocked. And the displays for furniture pieces were beautiful that day. They are still keeping track of the number of people in the stores abc from what I saw, were cleaning carts. I don't like the shared checkout. The line is always too long, even when the volume is low to medium. This is why I can't rate this location higher right now. I'll try again because, of course, it's Homegoods.

I left my house without my cell phone. I was on my way to Big Lots anyway so when I got there I requested if I could borrow a phone to call Animal Control. Staff said no. I asked if they would contact Animal Control. The old guy at the register said they didn't want to get involved. Sorry Big Lots but sometimes being part of a community involves minor inconveniences like a 0.50 phone call to Animal Control. By the way, Rite Aid not only let me make a call but they insisted I take a leash so that I could secure the dog until help got there. Thanks for nothing Big Lots
