I had never been to this particular Kohl's before and have changed my shopping habits a while ago and Kohl's didn't really fit my style preferences any more. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the selections at this store and hope they have made changes to their models that include my type of style preferences again. I didn't have time to shop for long, but I think since the "Kohl's Mom" marketing came out around the middle of last year, thinks might have changed. They told me only one dressing room was available so I had to walk across the store to the other dressing room and then back to the section I was in to pick more items to take back across the store to the dressing room. The dressing room they sent me too was also filthy. Hangers and clothes all over the floor as well as tons of dust. Haven't been clean or swept in months. read more

We always loved the Beaver Creek Commons Kohl's store; however, that sadly has not been the case recently. The section of the store that contains the jewelry was in shambles on our most recent visit, but there was an employee in the department who appeared to be addressing the issue. Also, due to recent changes to the check-out/return process and location within the store, the returns are now at the same registers as the purchases on the first floor near the entrance/exit. What a debacle this is! On our most recent visit to the store, only one register was open. A customer had quite an involved and lengthy return while we and all of the other customers in line waited and waited. When the return was finally completed, the employee at the cash register proceeded to hang up the clothing that was returned and put it on the rack near her cash register in lieu of checking out paying customers, so those of us in line had to wait further until this step was completed before the Kohl's employee would wait on us. On top of the wait, the employee was not friendly and welcoming by any stretch of the imagination. read more

I don't go into this store that often anymore but I was in the area and decided to grab a few things No No never again, the rudest and unfriendly and unprofessional staff ever and I shop a lot around the country... I was done I got in line and there were 3 cashiers one white reg 1, one Spanish reg 2 , one black reg 4 .. reg 2 was busy her customer had a lot of stuff. Reg 1 finished her person turned off her light while I was the only person in line left, reg 4 cashier 3 min later did the same thing and left very rude and unprofessional of them both .... Went here to return an item bought at another Kohls. There were over 30 customers in the return line and one clerk. Was in line over 45 minutes. This was a Saturday afternoon when they should have anticipated heavy business. What made it worse was that the single clerk was handling two lines -- a separate one for pick ups and also the return line. And it took him a good five minutes to fetch everyone's pickup. This is a 2 story Kohl's. Really nice store. I drove passed it a few times before I knew it was here. It's located in a weird location. They have a front and a side entrance. Lots of parking. They are on a lot by themselves, so only parking for Kohl's. They have a Amazon return station here also. Great store. read more

Usually, I absolutely love Kohl's stores. I went here to make an even exchange for an electronic product (broken) I had purchased over 30 days ago. I had called Kohl's.com who had assured me that because my purchase was well within the "new policy" for holiday electronics, it would be easily exchanged. When I went to customer care, the associate called the manager to overwrite it. He comes in with a hard NO saying there is nothing he can do. So I'm stuck with this expensive product and nothing to help. I called Kohl's.com from the store and spent close to 30 mins discussing my situation. Eventually the phone agent asked to speak to the customer care agent on site. It surprised me that when I handed her to phone, the Apex store lady was so judgmental and begrudgingly took the call. She bluntly told the Kohl's.com associate that she wouldn't Deal with it, the manager would. Comes in the manager again, speaks to the online associate and disagrees with her. Eventually he is forced to come down and the return goes through smooth. He refused to do an even exchange even though he had a product in house. Made me lose $15 in the process as if it was some sort of payback. The whole thing caused me an hour of misery. Moral of the story being: a store manager should help a customer out (plus I'm Kohl's elite, not that he gave a thought to that). His attitude was abysmal and had to be forced to employ his company's policy. So sad. I'll go to the Cary crossroads store in the future. This double Decker has everything other Kohl's stores have , but much more. You have the clothing on the lower level with housewares on the second floor. I was after K-cups coffee. Got a $10.00 coupon in the mail from Kohl's. The check out was fast and friendly. The parking is excellent here. I usually park in back ,and go in the back entrance, looks the same as the front. Easy access to store of Rt 64. This area has lots of shopping. read more

Plenty of parking. This location actually has two entrances: the main front entrance and another entrance on the side that opens to the women's department. This location is two-stories. It is well organized, clean, and it's easy to find what you need. The customer service department and online order pick-up is upstairs. I've had some experiences where the waits are very long for pick-up and it seemed kind of disorganized (to be fair, this was mostly around the holidays). I've also had experiences (like today) where I picked up my order within minutes. I've been here several times and my experiences with the staff have always been positive. Overall, I have no complaints about this store. read more

Nikki, one of the managers is rude and unhelpful. She blatantly lied regarding a return on a product, in which I had paid $80 full price for a pair of jeans, and received 50% off a second pair of the same brand that was on clearance ($27 marked down, so total paid always $13.50). Their selection on the jeans did not include my size, so I needed to return the $80 pair. Nikki insisted that I would only receive $48 back on the purchase. She stated that I "got 25% off each pair," which is inaccurate. She stated that if I only bought one pair, the register would automatically have rung out 25% on the full priced pair. I promptly grabbed a pair of full priced pants and had a cashier ring them up - no surprise, Nikki was wrong. I now own a pair of $80 jeans that don't fit me. Simple math would tell you that $80 + $13 = $93 and that $93 - $48 = $45. So essentially, I would have paid $45 for a pair of clearance jeans that were marked at $27. read more

The single star is for the fact that this is a two story Kohl's which I thought was cool. It gives the illusion that there is more merchandise to explore but it's just that. Every single time I come to this location, it has the same "day after Christmas fiasco" look. It would be understandable if it was just the clearance section but it isn't. The displays are wrecked, there is no size organization (or organization at all), and there is clothing all over the floor. Today I saw a pile of boys Under Armor shirts on the ground near a disheveled display. There were at least 3 employees standing there discussing where they going to lunch ("oh not there the noodles are dry"), as well as talking about who was leaving early. It's really sad that they have zero interest in their job or making the store they represent look reputable and inviting. If you enjoy a good mystery/and or scavenger hunt, you should definitely check out the shoe department! None of the shoes under the display shoe are anywhere to be found. FUN!! I was so annoyed from the clutter and chaos, I just left. I'm not trying to buy clothes off the floor. Clean up your act Kohl's! read more

She pointed around the corner and said "there's a scanner over there, you have too many items for me to check!" I went to that one and it didn't work either. I just put them back. I like this Kohl's. The store is two floors, usually organized fairly well, and staffed with friendly faces. Most of the clothing items are downstairs while housewares, shoes, and children's clothing is upstairs. Customer Service is also located upstairs. They are constantly having sales and coupons, and usually have some awesome items on clearance. read more

I'm done with Kohls. Their insane pricing schemes mean that nothing is ever what the price tag says. Which leads to me standing on line for 20 minutes with a customer waiting for a manager at ever register because nothing they have matches the sign in the area where they were shopping. I just left a pile of stuff where I was standing and walked out. I literally couldn't stand it another minute. There are other places to shop. This place is off my list. Wow! This Kohls is simply the BEST. Superior selection and service in a NY style stand alone two story facility. The jewelry section alone is twice that of any other I been in. Shop here about once or twice a year. They have a great selection of product line of clothing, but unfortunately prices are too high. I'm sorry, but when a store like Kohl's that lives by coupons and dollar discount cards won't honor them, I've had it. They say the $50 New Balance shoes I got are excluded from their discounts, as "premium athletics" I guess (because they never said why). Premium? The cheapest New Balance men's shoes in the store are Premium Athletics? So they would not honor 30% off, nor $10 off if you spend $25. They also had a 30% off for Veterans, which I am, but again, excluded from all discounts, even Veteran discount on Veterans Day. This after waiting 30 minutes in line (since they had only 2 registers open most of that time). Okay, so that's how they want to play ball, then I'm taking my ball (i.e. Money) and going home. Decent Kohl's. The store is always organized and clean, but it can be hard to find assistance on the sales floor at times. This was a particular problem when I was trying to buy an electronic item that was locked. However, overall I am pleased with my experiences at this store. I will say, though, that the Cary location seems to have more... it' s much easier for me to find my size there, but it is much less organized. We needed to return or exchange some thing that I received at Christmas that just wasn't going to fit. I had to go through the return line 3 times, each time never getting the same information about the return policy & what was an acceptable exchange. Even called the store manager following my visit and she was focused on making sure that I understood the return policy, not if I was a happy customer. We have shopped there a good deal as it's one of my kids' favorite stores. However, we won't be going back. Not only that, my item which I had never unpackaged, both of the sales representatives did unpack and not fold , so that now my item does not fit in the packaging and it has gone from a three-piece item to a two-piece item, probably not allowing me to exchange it at another location. All of my prior experiences here have been pleasant, professional, and not full of hassle. There are more than enough options either online or brick and mortar that will mean I don't ever have to step foot back in the building, which seems to be fine with them. read more
