Perhaps am a bit more curmudgeonly these days. Then again the store brand clothes, just don't seem to have the quality of Macy's "Club Room" line. The prices at Kohls, and it's with knowing and deploying sales techniques, isn't as good as that other company either. Used to find great deals at Kohl's, and am not sure what they are doing. They have a nice selection of clothing, but again the internet retailers mostly take it to them. Nice employees. Want to put out good customer service. They were smart with Amazon and Sephora, but plenty of discounters online also. People that "must have now," might be perfectly happy with this. More power to them, as I'd rather save money. This is a very clean store, and one aspect they shine on is kids clothes. To me it's an average store, and on a positive note it's not too busy. read more

The old white lady here is a major BIA!! She'll do anything and everything to not give you a refund. Sucks to be her age and not being able to retire, that's probably why she acts that way. In any case, bought a Samsonite luggage two months ago. Removed NO tags. Kohls only had the tag with the order# and I left it there. Went to return this item and the old witch said she needed the SKU number. She was able to scan the tag with the order# but needed the SKU. I wasn't able to log into the Kohls app so couldn't get it that way. Asked her to get it through my Kohls CC but she already scanned the order# tag (seemed a bit lazy, as if she didn't want to start the process over). At the end of the day, was able to get it through the confirmation email. Making the refund process difficult is what makes the customer not want to return! Will be using my Kohls cash and will think twice before EVER ordering anything from KOHLS! read more

When I came to the register the lady had told me that the discount is for retired veterans, not active duty, and that it could save my life knowing that one day. Horrible experience. We paid for 4 items and only received 3 we paid for. Went back in with the receipt and had to argue she never gave us the white shirt and finally she gave us the shirt we paid for. The cashier said this happens all the time where she forgets to bag up all the items you pay for. What the heck is going on here? Will not be going back. Waste of my time and money. Great customer service, though they are understandably understaffed. Reminder that this is not even the peak Thanksgiving shopping season yet and they don't have their seasonal staff. This weekend had a great value with coupon 20% additional off offer plus the in store 30% off which led to long lines. Suggest that if you know your size or what you want, order it on line for I store pick up which is way faster. So yes the lines may be long, but that is to be expected until they hire their seasonal staff. Ample parking and EV charging stations make this a good place to come shop and the prices are very reasonable. read more

A lot of times women and girls come out in various degrees of dress to show their party what they are trying on. I'm an adult and can adjust, but I don't think this is good for younger girls and boys. At least put up a sign. read more

12/7/22 Christmas is coming and all through the store,  Prices are lowering for merchandise you can afford.  No stocks I saw for customers to buy. No  fine jewelry either for guys to find. What has become of the gemstone rings? What happen to the amythest necklaces to make my Bunny sing?   I was met by Sephora and it has expanded its wings.  Its name is living large on the Kohl's Department Store doors.    Ahhhhhh!...no more rhymes  and I mean it. Sephora has gotten much bigger and I do think if  Kohl's Department Store goes out of business, Sephora and Amazon could easily take over the store.  Sophora took over the space where the fine jewelry and watches use to be sold.  What is left is are cheap types of watches and costume jewelry  in a small location. I also noticed since Coronavirus Pandemic, the left side doors have been closed off for customers coming in.  This does not stop customers from coming out of the store despite the large sign saying "Do Not Use." Considering the checkout lanes are by these doors, people ignore the sign.  Guess reading isn't fundamental.   Kohl's, remove the signs and let the people in and out on both sets of doors. On a brighter side of things, Christmas stuff is all around the store and I enjoyed looking at the merchandise and none merchandise around the store.  Just imagine A Nightmare Before Christmas set up at Kohl's. Let's not forget at Kohl's, discounts on top of discounts can be applied to your total purchase. Many times (bit not always) this will apply to anything you buy throughout the day/ and week. If you like discounts, come to Kohl's because they specialize in this. The lines started getting longer, but they seemed to move a a decent speed.     I enjoy seeing the outfits of what other people are wearing.   Sometimes I see someone wearing soming I own myself.   The women wearing tights with none Uggs affiliate boots look very nice.    We found some king sheets bedding in a light purple for our home.  It is just a matter of time before I make the bed in either purple and heather grey or purple and black. The clothing I saw were nice to look at, but did not buy anything, because I have to much clothing.  I need to go through more stuff that I am not wearing and give it away to good will. This experience here at Kohl's Department Stores during the month of December is great.  The employees I met were cool.    It seems Kohl's dress code is prodommitly black clothing.  Especially from the waist down.   Funny how Target has lightened up on their dress code.  Still, I think Kohl's Department Store has better options of clothing  with the exception of undergarments.   Sorry Kohl's, but you can't beat A Pair Of Thieves... Kohl's has Good prices especially on name brand clothing that are more expensive elsewhere. The Dressing Rooms Are Like Old Navy which means no Male or Female just Unisex. Doesn't Make any Difference because you're behind a Door! If Moms or Dads want to see their Kids in the clothes they try on, they'll have to go into the dressing room! So What. No. I bought $700 worth of chocolate and they wouldn't let me use a cart to get it to my car. The procedure is to poach in the fire line. The carts don't go outside like a normal kohls. I'm in a holding pattern of people lining up for a space in the fire lane because carts can't go outside. read more

Trying to get help in this store is virtually impossible. The only associates I saw were the ones working the cash register and the two in the dressing area. It's absolutely ridiculous that a store like this only has one dressing area open with five open stalls. There were 12 to 15 people in line waiting to try things on. Never again. They should get a half star. If you try and return something from Black Friday sales they will refund you the amount minus the discounts they give you for BF item, totally ridiculous, but they will let you go through the department and find an exact value item. I spent over an hour trying to find two 9.99 items and I could not even combine the two items (9.99 x 2 = $19.98) and find one item for this price (much easier to do if you think about it). Even after the store manager got involved, so I had to take two LT shirts, which do not fit regular sized men, but Kohl's has most of their men's clothes as Tall. Everything on sale at Black Friday was Tall--what a scam. Then on top of it, after I voiced my frustration with the transaction the manager, he gave me the refund Kohl's dollar speech that someone in the comments experienced. Their policy on returns is a rip-off, and I will not buy anything else from Kohl's. Theses are the rules for returns that are not clear; If Amazon gives me a discount and I return the item they refund me the line item price I paid. Kohl's takes your refunded amount and takes away the discount from the line item price and refunds the balance----not cool and deceptive marketing. Never again. Here are the reprinted rules: 1. The item must be the same price, it cannot be over and cannot be below, it MUST BE THE SAME 2. If you used a discount code then you WILL NOT be able to return the item 3. If all the of above are met then the item needs to be the EXACT SAME BRAND of the clothing item you are exchanging (this is close to impossible). Smarmy management and shady sales practices. Now I'm stuck with 2 jerseys sized LT that do not fit around the torso and can't return except for another Tall size that will not fit the torso of most men who are regular L or XL. I usually shop here for my kids and I'm very impressed by the type of shoes and clothes that I can find for my kids and the quality of customer service. I highly recommend this place! read more

Don't waste your money or time. Customer service is horrible. I requested curbside since that is how I feel safest right now. Curbside without rain is 20-30 mins (I've been here before). I am understanding since places have a hard time keeping staff. I left my house and it wasn't bad. I get there and it's raining hard. I still put in my ticket since I know it will be 20 mins anyways. I put my number in and wait 20-30 mins it lets up and someone comes out. I roll down my window and with no provocation I am given a horrible attitude how "just so I know" they don't come out in weather. And repeated 2 more times without me even saying anything except ok once after the initial rude comment. I didn't get a word out and this lady acts like I'm committing a crime. You don't know me or my heath status, what I feel comfortable with, if I've been exposed to others who have COVID etc. I attempted (without going inside) to figure out a way to get my money back without success. I've been to Walmart and Target in rain for pick up and I have apologized and tell them I appreciate them and every time they say it's ok, no problem, no worries etc. I spent the dumb $5 Kohls cash to buy something to cheer me up. Garbage retailer. Ordered two different gifts for Christmas -- one was damaged and unusable, one was lost in the mail...in CANADA. Plus, Kohl's will block any critical review on their website. Also terrible to deal with to try to get a refund despite their own tracker showing the package had been sent in error by THEM (not me!) to a completely different country. Went to Target instead. I ordered a pair of pants online that didn't fit. i could have mailed them back, but since I had other errands to do that day, decided to return them in person. It took me longer to walk into the store than it did to return the pants. There was one person finishing his transaction as I got there. The clerk took me next and it literally took less than a minute. I also appreciate the convenience of the Amazon return. That took a little longer than the Kohl's return, but only by a minute. The Springfield Kohl's sold me a USED Coffee Maker. I used in store pickup for my mother in laws Christmas present and come to find out that the coffee pot already smelled like coffee out of the box and had stains on all of the removable pieces. This is unsanitary and a health hazard. I am completely disgusted by the negligence that caused this to even be possible. Do you not check items returned before it goes back for sale? I was hassled by an employee to sign up for a Khol's credit card while shopping. After I told the employee several times that I was not interested she continued to follow me around the area that I was shopping in and continued to push the offer. This type of sales harassment is uncalled for and ridiculous and should be stopped immediately! Especially in a time like this where stores are lucky to be open or have customers. The last thing anyone needs or wants is a sales person following customers around while they are shopping harassing them about getting into more debt. If I didn't already have a hand full of shirts that I needed for work I would have walked right out. I won't be shopping at this location again until this tactic stops. If the next time I shop at this location and a person follows me around asking for a credit card application, I will be asking for the manager in a very loud voice. read more

They had some broken merchandise on display the day I went to their store. The damaged part of the glass seashell I touched was faced away from me, so when I grabbed it to look at it, I got a cut on my finger. *picture included* The customer service employee's reaction was "Oh. I'll take from you.." I had to ASK them for a bandaid and some alcohol. They did NOT offer me any first aid when I showed them my cut. The employees also seemed unprepared and lazy when it came to assisting me with a purchase. I asked them which pillow top in the shelves was the same as the one that was on display. I asked two employees at the same time and they both had no idea how to help me. They were like "Uh... Uh... I don't know. Do you know? No, I have no idea." Useless employees! I've never in my life been to a Kohl's where the sales associates cared about who uses which dressing room. On a weekday evening, with a mostly empty store, my friend and I were looking to get in and get out of the store in a timely fashion. We gathered our potential purchases and did a lap around the store. We needed to try a few things on and the nearest room was in the men's casual wear section. We went in and started changing and a rude associate announced that we were in the men's changing room. Again, I've never been chastised in any other Kohl's for this, and it's not like there are official signs saying each room is for a particular sex. I get it might be inconvenient for the associate if we decided to leave our unwanted clothing, but, that's part of the job. I have worked in retail! I get it! The girl proceeded to hover nearby (we could hear her radio) and with one room still open, she had a gentleman come and she told my friend and I to hurry up because someone needed the room. There was another one open! I cannot believe how rude she was. I understand that maybe we weren't following the "expected" rules, but, it's 2014. I'll admit it, I'm really not a fan of Kohl's. I find the entire shopping experience to be soothingly boring. If I wasn't in need of something white to wear (which I later returned) I never would have come here. Kohl's is like a cross between Sears and Kmart with the service of Walmart. In their defense they do offer pretty decent sales but honestly that's where it ends for me. My last visit was to return a skirt that I'd purchased and didn't wear. In the process I came across a Hello Kitty charm (for Pandora bracelets) and was very interested since the sterling silver piece of jewelry was marked down from $125 to less than $40. I thought everything would be a breeze in regard to the exchange. Unfortunately, I didn't know that you couldn't return an item and just pay the difference of your current purchase. Well I found out that day. I didn't even know that they had a different area (customer service) for returns. After I'd returned the skirt I wanted to go ahead and get the Hello Kitty charm. Since I'd previously checked in I saw that I could unlock an offer for an additional discount. I asked the lady at the counter if it would work and she stated she didn't know what Yelp was but if the offer had a barcode then yes, if it didn't have a barcode she wouldn't be able to give me the discount. Unfortunately, the Yelp offer didn't have a barcode. The lady at the jewelry counter told me to check some discount site and print off a coupon and come back. Honestly, that kinda irritated me. I mean, she saw the discount and it really wasn't my fault that there wasn't a barcode. Nonetheless, I thought the price of the Hello Kitty charm was a great deal and I decided I would come back with a 'true discount' that had a barcode attached. Luckily, the next day I received an e-mail from Kohl's that had the 20 percent offer (with a bar code). On Saturday I decided to go and get the Hello Kitty charm. As soon as I got to the jewelry counter there was a person being helped. I waited, and waited, and waited. The lady behind the counter (Ursula) acknowledged me and asked if I needed something. I said yes but it was in the counter. A bit later a woman (Maria, I'm assuming she was a manager) walked up and Ursula says 'Maria can you help her', Maria's reply was 'I'm going to lunch' she didn't even look in my direction or acknowledge me. I heard Ursula mumble that she hadn't even had a break yet. A little bit after that another woman walked up. I say it took about 10 minutes for Ursula to finish helping the man. However, after Ursula finished helping the man she turned to the woman that came after me. I had to interject and say excuse me, I was here first and would like to be helped, I am not sure what was going on in her mind but I was really about to be p*ssed. Nonetheless, she helped me and I purchased and was on my way out. As you can see I HATE KOHL'S and the customer service, or lack thereof!!! read more

Great bargains, good selection, neatly kept and organized store, non-insane parking lot. This is one of the best Kohl's I've visited and the things above keep me coming back. I probably drop in here once every couple months and almost always walk out with something, though not always what I came in to get :-) Its nice to visit a store with great affordable items that doesn't look like its been looted with merchandise strewn all over the place. They really do a good job keeping the departments uncluttered with clear signage. read more

What a great store....we do quite a bit of shopping here. We feel they have great men's and women's fashions at a very reasonable price point. I have bought suits, pants, sweaters, shirts. The shoe department is very well stocked. Last night we bought winter coats for over 50% off. They have a nice selection of kitched items as well as bedding and bath. read more

Right, who reviews Kohls? (Answer: apparently a lot of people, based on my Yelp search, but I digress...) I have a Kohl's card, so whenever there is a promo going on (15,20,30 percent off) I feel this innate desire to buy something. Thankfully, this sale really does create value-driven bargains and I have purchased a multitude of items, from work-out wear, to sold-colored sweaters, to our black-out drapes and even small applicances. This particular location took a while for me to get used to, since things seemed to be arranged differently than other stores I had frequented, but it's full of friendly and efficient employees (even when the lines are long) and the parking lot is ample. Good Morning, I am writing you this letter to stress my concern on the process of redeeming Khols dollars. Khols dollar ID 999-8875-8292-4242-9684-9263-4643 valued of $30. Received 11/24/2017 0757a, 0315/007/3653/1- 3047XXX receipt. I attempted to use this coupon on 12/19 on-line and was not able. I was told that it has expired, unfortunately I was not aware and was asking for some form of leniency because of the value of the coupon. I in the past has shopped in store and have seen leniency granted to patrons by the manager. So, to my dismay, I feel slighted that this option was not provided to me. I was told the coupon expired on 12/6 and I was 3 days outside the 10-day grace. I was very disappointing and taken a little back that especially in this season of business that I was not provided an alternative to using my coupon. I was met with regurgitation of policy, from animated voices at customer service. What I ask you Sir, how can it be peaceful that you cannot honor coupons from loyal customer who choose to patronize your store and then is not given any grace. As a consumer, we are to be graceful when we stand in line for greater than thirty minutes when your company only have two registers open. Or when I go to customer service 6 days before Christmas and there is only one representatives. Grace is given and the promise of good and timely services is not, but grace is given because it is the better way to respond. Khols without asking would expect me as a consumer to be patient and lenient without annoyance when there are not enough staff to expedite a transaction or when there is no one on the floor to help you find an item. I have graced Khols in the past and I was asking for grace and was met with re-verb of policy. Not only is that not the spirit of good customer service it frowns upon the meaning of Christmas, which is grace with love. But it is a lack of Khols treating its consumer with the grace and patience that I have to endure with lack of staff when shopping, but then I return...So am I the fool or is Khols insensitive to the grace it wants its consumers to have when Khols does not meet the expectation of their guidelines of have adequate staff and service. I was just looking for the same grace I have provided Khols in a time when I needed it and was met with re-verb about policy and guidelines. I've been shopping here for several years. This huge store is consistently clean, orderly, and well-stocked, with helpful employees and efficient service. Most times, even when the checkout line looks daunting it moves along very quickly. On my most recent visit I was quite impressed by the wide range of cosmetics, skin care products, and fragrances they have added. There are often all kinds of coupons and special offers to partake in. Also making me happy: scoring an $80 leather handbag marked down to $16. Merry Christmas to me! read more

If you are going in for a simple normal purchase, I am sure that this Kohls would be perfectly fine and would warrant a decent review. If you are doing anything more, my guess is that they will be absolutely useless. I went into this Kohls on a Thursday afternoon to purchase items for a good friend's bridal shower that was occurring that weekend. I checked that the items were available in store before going, got to the store, located said items and made my way to the service desk where I presumed someone would be able to help me. I got to the desk and there was a line. Whatever, that's okay with me. I waited in line, got to the front only to be informed that the service desk could not credit an item towards a registry. I was directed across the store to the single working registry/order online/price check kiosk (there was one right next to the service desk but it was non-functional). I arrived at the kiosk and a woman was using it to order items online with the help of an associate. She was unsure of her purchases so the associate offered to let me go in front of her. I loaded the registry and asked the associate what to do next to which he replied he didn't know. He radioed for assistance and was told that purchases could not be made at the kiosk and had to be made at the front register. I proceeded to the front register with the registry number in hand. It turns out that the front registers need a physical barcode to scan, something that the registry loaded on my phone was incapable of doing. I was told I had to go back to the service desk and get a physical print out of the registry with accompanying barcode and then come back to the front to purchase the item with the barcode in hand but according to the service desk individual, the last time she had tried to print out a registry it did not work properly. According to the individual called in to help with the registry problem, the only option was to purchase the item and then call an 800 number to have the item credited towards the registry (no thank you). I went back to the service desk where there was an employee (possibly a manager?) who knew what he was doing and was able to sort the entire thing out within about 3 minutes with the registry number and the upc codes of the items I was purchasing. All in all, it took over 30 minutes from when I arrived at the service desk the first time through having my problem solved. If you are going to have a registry, your employees need to be trained on how to processes a registry. If you aren't going to spend the time to properly train your staff, you have no business running a registry unless you make it an online only service. read more

This store continually has great bargains. Whether it is a dress or a pair of boots or even workout apparel, I am always finding things majorly marked down. On my recent visit, I managed to get 3 dresses, a cardigan, and accesories for under $80. How can you beat that?! What's even better is if you get one of their charge cards, they send you coupons every month for an additional 15-30% off of already on clearance items. What tops that? For every $50 you spend, you get $10 Kohl's Cash to use in the store towards your next purchase! read more
