Lol…read more Anyway, I had to leave a review for quite possibly the best customer service experience I've ever had. Backstory: I proposed to my then-fiance, now-wife back in April of 2013 and through the course of wedding preparations, decided that I wanted to have a tuxedo made fully bespoke. (I also needed to purchase a few business suits) Years of football and weightlifting had left me with a body that is incompatible with 95% of off-the-rack business and formal clothing. So, I began sampling custom clothiers all around the DC area, and my findings generally lacked the 'Experience' I was looking for. Most tailor shops were impersonal, unreasonably priced, or both. Enter Bryn: He's extremely personable, knowledgeable, accommodating, and took his time to get to know me. The best way to sum it up is that I felt like I was talking to a friend who was doing me a favor as opposed to a business owner selling me a product. During my first appointment in November 2013 at his shop, we discussed his offerings (virtually limitless), my personal style, and then all the necessary measurements were taken. Then I threw him a curveball: I was in the process of cutting bodyfat and informed him that I'd be significantly smaller by the wedding date (March 8, 2014). No sweat, he proposed several fittings over the course of the next few months and would tailor the suit to match the body composition changes. Over the course of those months I had an initial fitting, as well as two subsequent fittings, over which time I lost size in the waist/legs and gained in the back/arms. The tux and suits fit perfectly in each stage, which I thought was amazing. Fast forward to 3 weeks before my wedding, I realized I needed a new tuxedo shirt. I called Bryn, reluctantly because it was so last minute, and asked if he could possibly get one made for me in such a short time frame. Again, no problem, I received the shirt one week before my wedding, and of course it fit perfectly. This consistent level of service and quality of clothing is why I'll be calling on Bryn to provide all of my future custom clothing needs. He's top notch.

I was quite impressed with the number and variety of fabrics as well as the customizable options from pocket location/type to shirt cuffs to hidden shirt buttons (my favorite). It definitely takes time to figure out what you really want, but that's the beauty of custom. The owner, Bryn Johnson, is very knowledgeable and can help guide you during the process of deciding how you want to item(s) to look. I haven't moved on to suits yet, since I'm not required by my job, but a nice 3 piece suit is next on my ever growing list.

And the experience was top tier. They had an extensive selection, and the guys who work there know their sh...stuff. I was incredibly impressed. My son found the perfect tuxedo. They took their time fitting him and making sure he was happy. We picked it up before prom and brought it back a few days later. Process was smooth and not too spendy. Ya'll Springfield is sleeping on this place. I recommend this place very highly. I guarantee you will find the perfect suit/tuxedo. And they have all the accruements there as well. And they will take their time to make sure you are happy. Plus it isn't a chain!!!! He wants you to look good and feel good. Make an appointment. Be prepared to spend money. Victor is going to make you look amazing after all is said and done. Something to note if you're high fashionista, he exclusively sells Italian. For the more fun part of the story, in less than a week, he was able to tailor a suit for me and find a proper undershirt to wear to a wedding. I'm sure he gets these kinds of pressured requests far too often, and I really appreciate him coming through for me.

I was initially sized for a custom tux shirt early June 2024 for my wedding on July 26, 2024. I paid $300 for the shirt. The shirt was not ready until August 8 and the shirt did not fit correctly. I knew there was a chance the shirt wouldn't be ready in time, however, I was told by Dash's that it was possible. I ended up purchasing a shirt from Brooks Brothers for my wedding that fit perfectly without any alterations needed. There was a major issue with the upper button/section of the shirt that you wouldn't expect from a custom shirt. I took the shirt back to Dash's on October 12 and the owner Victor assured me that they would get it fixed. On November 2, I returned to the store after being told the shirt was ready. When I arrived at the store, Victor told me there was a mistake and the shirt wasn't ready. He said they would have to send it back to the manufacturer. I did not hear back from the store until January 8, 2025 - in which I received a text letting me know that the shirt was ready and that they've been trying to get in contact with me. Prior to this, I never received a call or text with an update. Nonetheless, I proceeded to go back to the store to pickup the shirt, only for Victor to tell me it wasn't ready. He told me that there's a piece he was looking for on amazon and other sites that he couldn't find. He went on to ask me to look for that piece as well. Then he alluded to my height as being an issue. Mind you, Victor is an inch taller than me. Not only that, it was a custom shirt. So that's a poor excuse. At this point, I am frustrated because I paid $300 for a custom shirt that wasn't done correctly. Till this day, I have yet to receive the shirt. I've requested a refund and Victor refuses to give me one. His reasoning - "they are a small business." There has been no attempt to make things right by resizing for a shirt, or offering me anything to make up for the mishap. I've attached two pictures showing the issue with the shirt.
