Note there is no shade available so on a hot day it may be advisable to sit elsewhere. Also there were plenty of board games available on both floors for patrons to borrow. I started with a French onion soup, which I normally do when I'm here, tonight it was a little less oniony than it usually is, but that just could simply be a function of whoever was ladling it up. It's still absolutely delicious. For dinner, I had the chicken piccata with a baked potato and steamed green beans. The steamed green beans are a staple while there are a variety of other sides, such as onion rings or Alfredo, etc. I was a little disappointed in the piccata this time. It was less lemony and more oily than I remember. The lemon wedge helped, but I don't think that piccata would have to need additional lemon to the sauce. The green beans also a little heavy on the butter as was the baked potato. I don't want to say that the meal wasn't flavorful, because it was and my server while really busy was an absolute gem, only that it was a little heavy with the melted butter.
