The beer was good. The back patio brought in AMAZING views of the river, with a lovely breeze. There was even a guitar hanging on the wall for folks to play, which I thought was cool. The prices are also ridiculously good (don't tell the owners! ), and you can order half pints or flights to sample the variety.

A 3 story brewery with an amazing outdoor seating view of the Keweenaw Waterway. Great beer with slushies during the summer season. The bartenders were friendly.

I'm rating on the beer, friendliness of service is a much lower rating. AWESOME beer, great hang! Such a cool place all the way in the Keweenaw. All the beer is fantastic! It's such a cool spot to hang out, bring your board games, cozy up with a book or talk to other people sitting around you. You can bring in your own food (no kitchen) so you can sit around for a few hours drinking, reading, chatting. Dogs are no longer allowed and on the patio they are mostly not allowing either. Bartenders friendly is a bit missing. It's definitely hit or miss depending on the day/ hour. Sure, you're there just to order up at the bar but when you have questions the responses are pretty sarcastic. Not so welcoming, even when you become a regular.

A must if you're visiting. Great lake views from patio. Love the interior decor. Excellent beer selection. Would love to see Merch for sale.

Really nice brewery in downtown Houghton. We were in northern Wisconsin for Spring Break to do some skiing (not a good year for Spring skiing) and needed something to fill in for a day of rain. We decided to visit the Keweenaw (Copper Harbor, etc.) but this was the "must do" I had on my list. We ended up parking around back, which is covered and free. Climb some stairs and you arrive. They let you bring in food (we ordered from Joey's and I also reviewed them) so we did. Every beer I tried was really good and they are only $3 a beer! Living in Chicagoland we are used to $7-10 for a beer so this was shocking to us that you could get craft beer for less than you pay for Domestic stuff like Miller Lite, etc. Stop in, it's a great spot!

In a city of any size this beer is easily $9-10 a pint! Very tasty beer with great service. The deck overlooking the canal is awesome!!

Much better beer up north- and the place is engineered to perfection. People will pick you up out of the snowbank- you will survive

A pint of beer for $3.50, a flight of five for $5.50? Bee brewery and vibes in my opinion!

The hostess was lovely and found us a space even though we didn't have a reservation (I would recommend this). Our server Lilly was knowledgeable, attentive and very good. She managed a huge section and timed all of us perfectly so no one was waiting too long for their dishes or drinks. The food is OUTSTANDING!! How has this been under the radar in Copper Harbor? High dinning in the middle of no-where, its wonderful. The trout was super moist and flavorful with crisp skin. The mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly and full of earthy flavors. The beef stroganoff was rich and decadent. The four cheese ravioli was a lot on its own, but paired with the beef and sauce was a perfect match. We ordered a side of spätzle and sauce and it was another fun and delicious dish to try. Our starter was the special of fried burrata cheese over a homemade marinara. The marinara was my favorite part! Acidic, smooth, herby and fill of fresh garden tomato flavor. German beer on tap and a great wine selection. The location (restaurant, event space and cabins) are for sale. I hope potential new owners will keep the food as unique and high quality as it is now.

We called to make a reservation when they opened at 2:00 and were informed that they were filled for the evening though there would still be drop in seating if we arrived before 4-5:00. Sure enough, by the time we departed @ 4:45, the place was hopping. Call ahead for reservations if you would like a table in the evening or be prepared to wait. The draw here is the view of the water; simply gorgeous. The food is also wonderful, with a good choice of seafood and meat entrees, appetizers and desserts. We began our meal with the tempura white fish with Asian slaw appetizer. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice balance of flavors with rubles and pickled ginger. A winner. We chose the scallop special ($48) and the pan cooked trout ($28). Both entrees came with fresh sautéed seasonal veggies, a choice of one side starch (mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, rice pilaf, risotto) and a choice of salads (Caesar, garden, beet-feta or watermelon) . We also enjoyed a warm roll with olive oil and herbs to dip. Our meals were beautifully presented, piping hot and well cooked. The seafood was tender with flavorful but not overpowering seasoning and sauces. The veggies were crisp and the potatoes were delicious. We shared a flourless chocolate torte and it was amazing: smooth, rich and not too sweet. With tip our tab came to $130 for two with no drinks. Expect to pay good money for a nice dinner, well prepared, a beautiful view and first class service.
