First time here, with a large group. This is a cool venue. Nicely laid out and very clean. Amazing what they did with an old theater. No table service, which for a small venue we thought was a bit odd. We all agreed that the Nordic Gin is simply amazing. Other choices were also good. This place is located in an adorable section of town and without all the hills, so walking and parking is a breeze! The distillery is open and bright with crisp clean lines every where you look. Modern and welcoming. The eclectic staff are kind and knowledgeable. We happen to stop by during their newest Rye Bourbon release and were impressed. We equally, if not more, enjoyed their coffee liquor and left with a couple of bottles. They will remain on our list of stops when we are in the area! read more

The distillery is located on the main street downtown Marquette in a renovated historic theater. Great to see the conservation of historic buildings ! Cocktails are made with the local distillery vodka and liquors. Cocktails are a little pricey for the UP but well made. Had the cosmo and wa super refreshing. If you're like me, and beer isn't your thing and you're more of a spirits person... THIS is the place to go... matter of fact, it's the ONLY place to go . Coming from down state, I wanted to find a distillery to satisfy my whiskey craving, and I was fairly disappointed to only find one... The Honorable Distillery. That disappointment quickly went away when me and my parents, and my two Jack Russell dogs walked into this BEAUTIFUL establishment. As you can see from the pictures, it's a fairly big area with a fantastic view of there distilling equipment (which is a really cool thing for the nerd in me). It's dog friendly INSIDE and features tables outside as well. My only complaint would be that it's mostly high tops inside and out, which doesn't make it very wheelchair accessible. But you don't think much about that after the drinks . I had two drinks while I was there, the classic old fashion and the espresso martini. Nothing too special about them, just very quality drinks that went down easy and tasted great. The distillery sits right in the social district of Marquette, which means you can drink on the street and visit other restaurants with outside food and drink, which is super nice because this place doesn't have food, which I don't see as a bad thing. To me, not having food allows them to focus more on drinks, service, and knowledge of there product... all those boxes were checked. Cocktails - fantastic, service - amazing (I'm sorry to the bartender, I didn't ask for your name, but you were amazing), and beautiful bottles they sell in house. Another interesting tid-bit the bartender told us, is the owner LOVES dogs, and if they sold food, they couldn't be dog friendly. All in all, The Honorable Distillery was an amazing stop. Fantastic drinks, service, and again... dogs . They JUST need some more low tops for accessibility. Oh, and by the way... at the time of this review, they've only been open less than a year (since August of 2022). They're going places! read more

Great cocktails and excellent service. The espresso martini is A++. They don't serve food but you can carry in form elsewhere.

Interesting looking distillery interior which was likely a former theatre or something of that nature. It boasted beautiful high ceilings and an open setting. We started with the Draft Punch, a gin based house pre-mixed cocktail highlighted by notes of mouthwash. We followed that with an Old Fashioned, a classic cocktail which primarily tasted of bourbon which, for some, is the right flavor. I've had a number of old fashion cocktails in my day and would rate it a 6/10. It could use more citrus to drive the flavor. Overall I would not recommend this distillery. They were missing a handful of ingredients which limited the cocktails available on the night and those that were available were average at best. If you're only going to serve cocktails you best be good at it. read more
