Stopped here for one night & we were pleasantly surprised!! Cute campground with a well stocked general store, nice laundry facilities & a friendly staff!! The site was level & well kept. Some sites have large fenced in area for your dog along with a dog park within the campground. The kids playground is great & the pool very nice!

Showers were nice and the park well maintained. But if charge full price you should have everything open. The bouncy pillow is no Longer Operational and the pool was Closed. Major disappointment for The kids

I used the dumping station snd ut was disgusting. It cost $25.00 and you get to walk in sewage and mud at the dump site. In all my years of using KOA this is the worst. They need at least clean it and remove the use sewage. Large gravel would help. But to spend 25.00 to dump a 10 galling tank was unacceptable. I had to bag my shoes and wait till I got home to clean them. I wouldn't go to this place if you paid me.

This is their jumping playground for the kids.

There are so many complaints on the staff of this place that it is unbelievable. They are so rude, as soon as you come into the office the attitude starts. No customer service etiquette. They even yelled at each other as they are checking you in. I was talking to one of the managers and she started to answer her walkie talkie and arguing with a co worker. I will be sending a letter to corporate as there is more to report than the rude attitude.

This was our destination for the weekend. We stayed in a cabin there this past weekend and it was wonderful! The cabin was clean, the grounds were one of the nicest KOAs we've seen. I've seen many reviews on the staff being rude, but that was definitely not our experience! Everyone we spoke to was so nice! Amanda, Penny and Amber were all very helpful had very nice! Our refrigerator was not working and they got a replacement within 10 minutes! We rented DVDs to watch at night, played in the game room and swam in the pool, everything was great! I didn't get the maintenance mens names, but they were also very sweet, they drove around periodically asked how we were and if we were having fun. We will definitely have to do this again! So relaxing and fun for the kids!

This place is a cool place to stop. Calico ghost town was very close. The staff, Penny was sweet as can be. They have a cute little store. The game room was well maintained. The showers were freezing though. We had no hot water and it was not a great shower experience. I would recommend this place.

Stayed here on our way home from vacation, the same trip. (Options are few in this area) Maybe it was the intense heat first time around (although I would think they'd be used to it) but second time around the fellow was pleasant and helpful. I spent more time in the store to find it clean and well stocked. The pool was refreshing and looked clean. So much better second time around.

Game room with ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and pool.

It gets the job done. Bathrooms were not clean, over it was just ok. Not terrible, not very desirable. Just fine.

If you're in the area and looking for simplicity and a clean campground at a reasonable price give Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA a look.

I don't know if that is how it works all the time because there was a little booth at the entrance, but no one was there at the time. I don't know if they use that during the busy season. They have cabins, shaded structures, and RV spots available. Friends and I had trailers, tent and car camping. We had electric and water available at our sites. I expected to see more trees at the sites. They had trees, but it was more to divide the cabin section from the RV sites. It did provide shade but that was after noonish, and it got hot early in the morning. Thankfully we had our canopy. We also had heavy winds during different times of the day so keep that in mind and make sure your tents and canopy is secure. There are occasional squirrel's so secure your food if you are not going to be around. They have plenty of amenities. My friends used the pool and spa. Great to use when the evenings are warm and for star gazing! I was able to use the showers which were kept very clean (code is needed to enter restrooms and showers). They had a laundry room adjacent to the restrooms, they are coin operated. We did not take advantage of some of the activities that took place in the community room the two nights we were there. We actually stayed at the KOA because it wasn't too far from the venue we were going to see a musician. There is a pickleball court too which we could see from one of our sites. During our visit the park was not busy at all but it is off season. It was very quiet at the campground and it was very clean. Staff was seen often driving around. The convenience store have cute chachi's, but also carry necessities. That includes ice. I wouldn't mind reserving the same sites again. If I return I hope to use the other amenities that are available.

The pictures and promises do not match reality at all. It's overpriced, poorly managed, and completely unprofessional. The worst part? They have NOT returned my deposit. I moved out on November 1st. Today is February 25, 2026 -- almost FOUR MONTHS later -- and I am still waiting for my money. I have called multiple times. Every single time I'm told the same thing: "we had some problems with the system, You'll have it in the next two days." Apparently, "two days" means months to them. It's excuse after excuse with no accountability. On top of that, there are aggressive unleashed dogs running around the property. My dog was attacked on multiple occasions because management does not enforce leash rules. It's unsafe and irresponsible. As a pet owner, I should not have to worry about my dog being harmed just walking around the park. Don't surprise if you see police inside the park daily because is a few people inside they can't control themselves and is very common people appropriating what belongs to others. If they can't handle something as basic as returning a deposit or enforcing basic safety rules, how are they running a "resort"? Save yourself the stress, the endless phone calls, and the disappointment. There are plenty of RV parks that actually honor their agreements, enforce rules, and treat guests with respect. This place does not. I'm still waiting for a solution and my money.

Since Brandon, the…read morenew owner, took over, the environment has become hostile, stressful, and completely toxic. Every single day feels like harassment letters taped to doors nonstop, new demands constantly, and residents being treated like children instead of human beings. It doesn't feel like a resort or a community anymore. It feels like living under a dictatorship where you're always waiting for the next threat or reprimand. What finally pushed me over the edge was witnessing Brandon publicly humiliate a guest I personally know to be an amazing human being someone who pays his rent on time, respects others, and takes pride in his home. Brandon had the nerve to tell him that he and his home "look like a junkyard." Watching someone who doesn't deserve that kind of treatment be torn down like that made me sick. No decent person should be spoken to that way. Every interaction with Brandon is uncomfortable and upsetting. He is rude, unprofessional, and frankly disgusting to be around he literally smells like poop, which somehow matches the way he treats people. There is no kindness, no respect, no leadership here just intimidation and control. This place broke my spirit. What was once home now feels like a prison where residents live in fear of being shamed or targeted. I would never recommend LA RV Resort to anyone. Save yourself the emotional stress and stay far away.

I had picked an RV site but it was scratched out and replaced with another site number. it was two sites away so I didn't mention it. My site was next to a permanent resident fifth wheel in horrible condition. Little did I know it was one of the better permanent RVs there. When you see all the "rules" for campers there you assume this is a nice place. I think they even wanted to know the year of our RV, like they have standards. HA! Went on a walk around and there were junky RVs everywhere that are old, broken RVs surrounded by hoards and hanging laundry (NOT allowed! LOL) Seeing all the permanent septic hoses on the ground and with the "p trap" dip showing they are open 24-7 was awful. Speaking of laundry, after a week in Mexico we had two loads to run. Our friends had one. Luckily there were three working - because only about 30% of the washing machines/dryers were actually functioning. They only had coin operated washers and no change machine. The pool area was older but clean and nice. The pool was cold! There is a separate, covered area with four hot pools of various temperatures. These were well used and I should point out there can be children present - just pointing this out as it can be less then relaxing to have a child playing with dolls in the spa with you. Unfortunately the sauna was not working when I was there. It had some very pretty grounds around the pool for games and barbecue. Nice pond with turtles, too. When we went to leave, we tried to hook up to empty the grey and black tanks. Our septic hook up was modified for a smaller hose size and there was no way for us to be able to use it. Very frustrating and we didn't want find an alternate there since it was quite early in the morning. The guy banging on metal and running equipment behind us hadn't even showed up to make noise yet that morning. After we left we reached out to the management via email and it has been over a week with NO response. We had asked for a partial refund due to the issues mentioned. With no reply, I feel compelled to warn others, since you will have no recourse once they get your money apparently. While we enjoyed the pool for a couple hours and felt like I was pretty safe there, the amenities and services were otherwise lacking and not worth, in my opinion, what we paid. It felt very, "bait and switch." The location was ok for decompressing from our Mexico trip, but next time we will go back the way we came (a hidden gem by Salton Sea)
